Mini-USB pin outs same?

Anyone know if the Mini-USB port on the Wizard is exactly the same on all other HTC phones that have a mini-usb connector?
I want to get a sync and charge cable but the only ones available are for the Jam or xv6700 or SP3i. Which one of these would work for my 8125?

You can use any mini usb cable, i have used my one from my cam before now!!! it is all the same!!! (But that is to the computer, not sure about plug ones)

It is absolutely the same.
I have a lot of USB to MiniUSB cables and can use all of them to connect my Wizard to the PC.

mini usb is an industry standard. Any mini usb cable is supposed to work in any mini usb device, the wizard is no exception ;-)
I've been using the same mini usb cable from a Sony Mini Disc player, to my Motorola Razr, and now my 8125

Looking for a portable charger - is the 6800 a mini usb connector?

I'm interested in the Motorola P790 portable charger (unless you know of a better one) but it needs a mini usb connector to work.
Is the connector on the XV-6800 a mini usb?

a lot of times i just use a mini-usb to regular usb cable and charge from my laptop when out and about

Walmart sells a great retrckable charger for moto that is perfect and only costs 15.00 dollars

Will this iPod car charger work with Raphael?

Would a Griffin iPod car charger work the Touch Pro? its got a USB plug for it too. I'm not too sure if i should try plugging it in yet. heres a pic:

From my experience, any car charger device with a USB port will be usable for other similar devices. I have an old GPS USB adaptor that I use for my HTC TP & Dopod C730 without problems.

not for all phones i have a samsung with a usb cable and tried to charge it with the same car charger but no luck!

i have an ipod car charger (usb) and with the mini-usb cable i charghe my touch pro every day

sure you can, you can use any standard USB cable for charging or sync.

yupp I allways do that when I´m at my friends home and want to copy some files from his PC to my Touch HD.

You have bad cable, some cables are made non standard on purpose. They have shorter pins or something so you cannot use them for any other device.

but the plug is not the same
My HTC HD has a diffrent shape miniUSB jack on the bottom.
How can I use a standart miniUSB cable?
Do you have the same miniUSB shape?

HTC X7500 does not charge

I have got a HTC X7500 working good only it won't charge with the mini usb cable. I think the mini usb port is broken.
Does somebody know how i can charge only the battery?
