Even if you could send the screen display from your tytn to the one is your car...
Is the screen in your car a touch screen?
If so, what cable do you think you could use to connect THAT interface to your TYTN.
Why wouldn't you use your Tytn and run tomtom on that?
I launch TomTom on my Tytn and I want to display it on my car video system because the screen is more large than Tytn !
I personally think that the answer is about the same as the GPS-sollution on the Hermes. Even if there is a cable that would have a video-jack on the other side, you'll need some prorgam or drivers that would send the video to mini-usb port.
anyone here know if its possible to use a usb pc gamepad on a wm5/6 by converting the usb to a miniusb??? and is there any driver for this to work??
it would require the device to support usb host
and it dont
it can only use the usb connector to be charged by
and to have an usb host like a pc sync with it
hey tnx for a quick answer.
just wanted to say that it dosn't just recharge and do the pc sync, but also it can be used with hands-free, and u can listen music with it by converting the miniusb to a 3.5mm audio plug.
And what about this guy here http://www.imagecows.com/uploads/_553e-century_sutra1688_pda_phone_3.jpg
it seem like his using a miniusb gamepad with his wm phone
i found a Bluetooth version of a gamepad, I have never tried it so I dunno how well it works or doesn't, but that may be a route to explore....

Also, I think this may be some drivers for other usb gamepads ,but I am not sure and didn't really read the thread, but check it out:
http://www.pocketpcaddict.com/forums/gaming/22902-usb-gamepad-working-andres-ortega-first.html
that bluetooth gamepad is covered in the accesories subforum, i swear i've seen a thread on it in there somewhere
@ SD5150....that last link seems interesting...apparently he got usb gamepads working...
has any1 tried this? or does any1 have a usb gamepad to try it?
i have a usb gamepad for pc, im going to try it out after i get myself a SHEusb to HEminiusb converter. i hope it works
Is there anything like this (http://www.expansys-usa.com/p.aspx?i=145166) for the Fuze? I don't know if it's possible, but getting true VGA output to an external monitor would be awesome.
Thanks for any feedback
The cable specifically made for the TP/Fuze is here: http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=176590
Don't know if output is VGA -- I have one but haven't played with it yet. Do a search -- several threads here have discussed it.
Thanks for your post. I was thinking more along the lines of the VGA connector (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector) to connect to computer screens, for example. I doubt there is anything like this for the Touch Pro, but I thought I would ask
Yes, but if you REALLY want to connect to it, get it's video cable and a RCA to vga adapter. OR a video card for your pc and you can connect it to your pc. I see RCA to vga adapters for $30-$50 at my local Frys.
Hello everybody.
As the title says, I'm looking for the drivers of hands-free kit USB, I'm guessing this is the one for Touch Cruise, but it works well on Diamond, so I bet an HD drivers should exist.
Thanks for the help.
Let me guess? You connected a Ext-USB set to the HD and got a 'not supported' message, so now you would like the drivers?
If so, sorry to disappoint you, but this is not about USB drivers, but about the audio connection that most HTC devices have in the extra pins of the ExtUSB connector, and the HD does not have audio on that connection (because the wires run up to the 3.5mm plug) and will thus never support headsets or handsfree on the ExtUSB port.
Thanks for the answer.
You're right, this is the message I've got.
So you say this is not possible, but I've read some people who said they did it.
Fake or not?
You tried the experience?
up!
Anyone else?
Hay all,
I got one of these recently to connect to one of my monitors.
My monitor has a display port not HDMI and I have an adaptor for it this one.
It fits well and all, but my device will not power on when plug in via this adapter, I've seen a few issues with this but cant find a answer if there is one.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Has anyone fixed it or has an idea?
Any help would be appreciated

From displayport.org;
Q: I just purchased a monitor that only has a DisplayPort connection. How can I hook this up to my computer that only has VGA, DVI or HDMI?
A: There is not a cost effective way to do this. The adaptors that are available only work from a DP computer to a VGA, DVI or HDMI monitor and not the other way around. If you have a desktop you can purchase a graphics card with DisplayPort. Our best advice: Before you purchase a DP only monitor make sure you have DP on your computer.
Basically, you can't use the DisplayPort connection on your monitor with ANY device that only has VGA, DVI, or HDMI outputs, without the use of an expensive converter that may not produce acceptable results. Please follow Dave's advice and try to use a HDMI-to-DVI adapter.

Solution was used a HDMI to DVI... or anything else really not a display port
