he just put bootloader from magician rom into alpine (same processor, same way)

bilalbest, I think, u don't have any chance to cook usable rom in this way. Pardon.
At least u must have code base from cotulla's project, but it's not sharing, therefore it practically useless. Only reverse engineering can help u, but it's very very hard process, which requires special knowledge.
So, IMHO.

I think you can install magican radio image, but I really can't tell that it won't harm your GSM module at all..

No offence meant but in my opinion you do deserve the noob of the year award.Did you even try to take out time to read the posts in the forum,or the wiki??As of now there is no wm6 for the artemis,people have bricked their devices by trying to flash different carrier roms for the same device and you tried it with a unknown rom for a unknown device.Try to go through the forums and read the WIKI,though i doubt it would help in your case.Try imeiunlocker.com too.

Your not the first to have done this in the Artemis forum and prob not the last. Your device maybe salvagable if yoj can get it into bootloader mode. hold down the voice speed dial button and soft reset - you should then enter bootloader mode 'multicolored' screen' If you do attach device to pc via usb cable and flash factory rom. You do not need to be activesynced to do this. Before you flash again with a non-factory rom, your device MUST be cid unlocked.

Eten has provided a WM6 upgrade for these devices, just this weekend.

A noob is someone who comes here and asks "How can I upgrade to WM6" and is politely told they can't or less politely told to search. Flashing your expensive pocket PC / Phone with god only knows what software, (Probably one of Longhairs copies of Windows 95), does not rank high enough to be classed as noob. Surely anyone might research what to do first???

I've been reading this forum for two days now, and still haven't found the answer to my solution.
I used Olipros unlocker on Saturday, but after step 1 the screen went black and it wont reboot.
I can get into bootloader (by pressing the camera button and the reset pin at the same time), but I can't install the OS from Activesync as the PC can't see the ameo.
I can also get to factory reset (by pressing the volume slider down and powering up), but I haven't done anything in there.
The bootloader shows Olipro SPL 1.2
At the same time as getting this sorted I thought I'd upgrade to WM6 from the posts that are here, but I can't find at all, how to get the ROM onto the ameo without Activesync seeing it.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

i have had the same problem.
i solve doing this :
1rst enter in bootloader mode ( Reset + camera button )
plug your USB cable
and flash WM5 or WM6 rom with flash utility
utilies doesn't trcognize your current rom etc but donc care about
then after flash 100% my athena (HTC advantage boot up normaly again)

SPL-v1.20. Olipro
USB
I'm then running mtty tool and can get a connection with:
Cmd>
I type Task 32 and it states Level=0
do I then use the lnbs command?
I'm sorry, I dont see what to do now
You state to upgrade ROM with flash utility, but whats the flash utility?
Is it Mtty?
Or another tool that I haven't got yet?
I have downloaded the ROM update tools, and within the rar files there are apps like, enterbootloader, ruugetinfo, rapitool, etc, but they wont run, they say that they aren't a valid win32 application
Sorry, I know my phones not knackered, just don't know how to get out of it.

run ROMUpdateutility.exe provided with WM5 rom update or WM6 rom update (if you don't have look at XDA ftps ...)

Just out of curiosity, did you take your storage card out before you began the unlock?
not for me : no SD card , only microdrive

I don't think so, I don't have a memory card on my Ameo and had the same problem.. And when I told the Olipro **** that I got the black screen AND his SPL was flashed successfully, he kinda went frenzy about "IT IS NOT MY FAULT, IT IS YOURS! YOU ARE STUPID, I AM GOD!".. Nice support, huh?

My unit is working fine..can make receieve calls etc...
Am running on Meschle's 2.11 lite....hard reset fine everything fine...
When I try to upgrade to the full version - Gives me error...Connection.check cradle etc...
Tried Official ROM - same problem
Tried Manual Bootloader - goes into a white screen and hangs...then after 4-5 minutes i see the colored screen with IPL 3.04.0001 and SPL 1.11.000...
if I reset goes back to the ROM that was there on it...works fine...
Did I just brick my phone?
Not that I am not happy with it...but then why the Bootloader and flashing is not working?
Try the official dopod version from here.
NOTE: it will change ipl, spl and gsm radio versions.
After that run uspl again before tryin any other rom

This method is only for an extreme case like when you can’t boot!
Do not use this method for update w/out the uspl.

If you really want to flash your pda then you better hard reset it then uspl will work for 100%.
Normally if you run uspl you should get a blank screen and after that you can goon with the update wizard.

I can't tell you for sure if this procedure will work for your pda.
this works on artemis or p3300 or dopod p800

OK folks, Hard-SPL is finally released, my apologies for the delay, but I had a few teething troubles with my own device... well, actually I broke the sec area then had loads of fun fixing it.
anyway... this is Hard-SPL, when you load it and the SPL runs, it'll display the 3 colours then ask you to REPLUG your usb cable, please unplug and re-plug and wait a good few seconds and this will disappear.
within seconds the device will then become upgraded to Hard-SPL.
once that's done, enjoy, you're unlocked.
also please note this Hard-SPL is based on an MFG, for those of you who intend to play.

Hi guys, i have a big problem with my hd2...i have artemis italian rom but i noticed that battery power is less than htc original rom....my battery works for half day about....and almost always it's hot....yeahhh my battery burns like fire...i can't have my phone in hand...it's very hot...and when i soft reset the battery percent decreases of 2/3 percent....i must recharge it 2/3 times per day....( someone knows a solution? please tell me..i'm worry...i bought it 5 months ago...

I would check out the artemis rom itself, i dont use it myself so i dont frequent the thread but im sure just like any other rom you will find you're solution as someone is bound to have had it before. I'll take a guess its an problem with the radio your're using.
I'm using 2.06.51.07 radio version...my phone is my alter ego...damn...please...i need ur tips..

Change your Radio to a newer want. Look @ the Rom thread you are using
Strange! I used Artemis Rom from the beginning! And I must say never had have this problem! My device is always connect to wifi and I do +/-3h of communication of day! And Y never turnoff my device! My battery hold 2 days!
but that your battery is hot is not normal!! I used always 2.07 Radio!
But one tip! contact sr Sternas! he will help you!
perhaps their is a combination of your Rom and some other stuff!!

Yes it is one of the possibility, you can also used Task 29 format but that's not my favorite way!

Artemis ROM in general have amazing battery life...
To our problem now...
-HSPL version?
-Radio version?
-Do you have 3g on , at all times?
-If the part that is getting hot is the bottom of the back of the device (right under where is writes "with htc sense" then it most probably is a problem with your memory card, just backup ur files, format it(recommend slow format from pc) and throw your files right back in...
if those do not work , post again.
