Power off

Hi Guyz, anyone help me on this one...I need to be able to power off the PDA using software not the hardware on off button - anyone know of a routine for this

Install Mortscript then use this script. I use it on my Touch. I hate the power buttons on these phones. Except for the Wizard. That was a nicely placed/tactile power button.

Thanks for the responses guys, Can I clarify that I need to power off the unit NOT put it to sleep (hibernate), ie I want to replicate what happens when you press the power button for 4-5 seconds completely power down the unit

But is there a real Shut Down software ?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a real shut-down software that let me power off my trinity with a click instead of the power button pushed for three seconds.
Can someone help me ?

not that i know off
because before wm5 it would result in clearing of all memory
and after it would result in no alarms or calls or other notifications working
while it was off

i'm interested, too....don't care of alarm or other notifications, i just want to poweroff the device without pressing power button for 3 sec.

i too would like this but, as Rudegar has said - No it doesn't exist, it's been discussed before on this forum and i think there were some reasons it is not possible

P3600i can be power off by press & hold power button 5s only

Crap....it's really a bad news that PSShutXp woudn't work well on P3600i...damn

How to start htc touch without power button????

hi friends
i hav htc touch gsm and now its power button is totally dead, i was starting it from sleep mode with headphone by double pressing its button(just like we do while making calls )now the problem is that the mobile gets turned off now i want to start it is there ne alternate ways to do that ..i visited the service center they said that to recover the problem some hardware must be changed which cost me more than 50% of the moblie price....help me out guys i want to start my phone....

hi me too facing the same problem did u get any solution for this if there is some way out to shift the function on the camera button maybe i don know.

OP, what did they say needed to be changed on the phone, did you need a new power button switch or something? you could always try and source a replacement one.
If ti is the button that hits the switch is broken, maybe a new case?

go to setting>system>key lock>and select dont lock buttons
when your mob sleeps simply press any button to on the disply

[Q] Strange problem

Hello dear NIKI 100 users!
I want to ask you if you can help me with a problem.
My phone randomly "shuts down" for an unknown reason.
Is not like a normal shut down, well... I press & hold the "power" button but it doesnt turn on, and i have to remove the battery to start it again.
How can I fix that?

Gene Power Button Damaged

Hi Guys,
The Power Button of my HTC P3400i is damaged.
I can always use an application to put device in stand by mode but is there a way to come out of standby mode without power button, probably by changing mapping to any one of the keys....Please help
