App crashes and other minor issues with 2.3 eVo rEVOlution. - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

OK, I posted some of this in the Mdeejay eVo Sense thread but it doesn't look like anyone views it plus this may apply to other builds as well.
I'm having a couple issues with the 2.3 rEVOlution build. I've tried about 6 different Android builds on my HD2 and this is hands down my favorite. So I have a couple questions:
1) What is the difference between running a 512 or 1024MB Data file? Since I have the room I’ve always used the 1024 but never really understood why two sizes were included.
2) Why does the camera distort/stretch the picture? When I take a photo everything looks stretched. Anyway to fix this?
3) I have a lot of app crashes. Is this common with this build? I just dragged this build to my SD card and didn’t modify or change anything (kernel and radio are default). Example: The application Advanced Task Killer Free (process com.rechild.advancedtaskkiller) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
4) Does the Send to Voicemail command work for anyone with this build?
Thanks for your help in advance.

1) Next to the space you've got for apps and so on, I think it might speed up your boot. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I tried a 512 and a 1024 and even one with 1.5GB and it seems that the smaller boots faster. I didn't take the time, just my impression.
2) There's an option in the camera to have normal 4:3 ratio. Maybe you have to use the camcorder and then change to camera in it. Because there are two cam apps (at least in my build)
3) What radio are you using? And try out hastarin 8.5.
4) Yes, it does

Hi JanssoN,
Thanks for the tip. I installed hastarin 8.5 and it did help. However, I lost camera support. I read the "read me" and it does say you made need a new camera APK. Where can I get this for the eVo build?

At first, there is a readme.txt he inserted in the folder you downloaded. There is everything you need to know.
Download the cam apk HTCCamera
Put this to Android/AndroidApps so it will be automatically installed at boot.
Then you need the libraries
Cam Libraries
You can also get them pushed to the system while booting. I don't know what kind of build you're using. You can look it up in Settings > Telephone info > phone identity. Be shure you take the right ones.
If you have done that, follow these instructions
Fix for Cam
Then it should work again.

Just to back you up on number 1, yes the smaller data img makes for a faster boot, as it will do a brief check on the validity (contiguity check) of the data store during the boot process.
Can't help with the camera problem just wanted to drop in my 2c on the dataimg thing.

i don't know about anyone els but the one and only problem i have with hero is incoming call response time, zenulator and others have worked hard on speed. and right now i'm using the latest vogue hero.sqfs bundle. and it is pretty fast. i just need to be able to receive calls a little faster instead of one ring before vm.
i'm asking anyone that codes or knows how to code to look into what can be done to improve this.
i know that having phone not vibrate on calls, using ogg ringtones help a little, the renicer script aswell. but is there anything else we can do?

Speaking of that, whats this all about on the Vogue-Hero google page? I've downloaded it to keep a copy on hand but what improvements will we see with that file?
i was using the latest hero build with the basefiles from 9/08 and everything was pretty smooth. then i updated this morning to basefiles from 9/15 and everything is slower. takes longer to switch pages and respond to anything i do.

The HTC RIL is closed source. Its not a question of porting.
Here is my problem. I keep trying the latest donuts and sqsh based systems and even with fresh data files, I always get the dreaded Blank home screen with no icons. It takes around a minute to repaint them. The version I keep going back to is the cupcake-based hero themed system. It is distinguished by only having one arrow on the left side of the app drawer handle. It works great and hardly ever does the slow down thing. I just hope that when we get BT all sorted out that either the image will work with this system or the sqsh based systems are up to the same level of performance that this one is.
Cheers.

I don't have any of these problems with my builds so you might be missing a step or using the wrong files. Granted the xrom and cyanogen builds at vogue-hero are experimental/beta quality and hence why they stay there and don't go to the main vogue-android page. The latest xrom is using cupcake/donut built from the android master branch and is as fast as any build out there with the right setup and you can't use it with an existing data.img because it has a different code base. And sqsh has nothing to do with the level of performance of any build infact it should be faster than cramfs. It's the code that the system image is based off of and what extra apps and libraries and frameworks are included that determines how fast it's going to be.
Zen since you seem to be up and responding I have a quick question that I am not looking for too in depth of a response, just a brief overview...
What exactly is the user.conf responsible for? If I am running just the basic ION version is there any reason to keep the rogers or hero based files? Are they ever called upon when running the regular ION build?
Thank you!

you don't need them if your running ion. the user.conf files are just for people to tweak their own settings for each build. so you have the ability to turn compcache/swap on/off things like that. ion doesn't really need it but it does help it out it you run a lot of programs and widgets.
I've got a vogue and a diamond on sprint that I switch back and fourth between pretty often.
I thought maybe I could get a vzw htc vogue off of ebay, and get it working on my sprint plan, and put android on it.
If I did that, would GPS be crippled on it in android?
The main reason I wanted to do it was I like the white case and the vzw screens are all nice, I have a sprint vogue with a bad screen.
I'm excited that Zen said he was repackaging the nkhero release as it is essentially the latest-stable Ion build. The experimental builds are nice and essential to advancing development but alot of users are looking for everyday stable usage (and the added Hero theme is always sweet eye-candy)!

i recommend everyone try out the opera mini beta 5 with android. Make sure you have Java installed on your build. I use the latest hero-vogue build. go to m.opera.com/next on your android browser and click download to pc. download the jar. it will run with java and is awesome. it runs smoother and has more eye candy than any browser i ever tried. and i really like the keyboard that comes with it!

OK, this is the first non-mssmison build I've tried in a while. I'm trying xrom 1.5. New data, and fresh files all around. Seems to be pretty good, but still the browser chokes a bit more than the non-sqsh build. Is there a way to limit app processes anymore? I looked for dev tools but it is not included.
hey zen, is it normal for me to be getting these fsck000.REC fsk0001.REC ect..
files on my storage card? if not, do you know what they are? the number just keeps goin up after every reboot and just keeps adding files.
Also, has anyone got a driver to work with Vista?

Squashfs has nothing to do with the browser. If your compairing the1.5 xrom to the 1.4 then the differences are due to different browser builds aand the fact that the 1.5 build has some donut parts that 1.4 didn't have.

You can delete them.
Probably something to do with the basefiles, but I haven't tracked the cause yet.
They're the result of the automatic filesystem check on the sdcard fat partition on boot.

HD2/Leo ROM Benchmarks ~ For TMOUS Users |*CURRENTLY UPDATING*|

I've started this thread for the viewing of benchmarks for TMOUS compatible HD2 ROMs.
The benchmark tests were done using SPB Benchmark (freeware) which you can get Here (Thanks to ThaDeanesta)
Benchmark Info:
• All tests have been done on the same device and with the same rules I used with the Topaz benchmarks.
• The list of ROMs in this spreadsheet is not complete, if users find this helpful/useful I will continue to update the new and updated ROMs.
• For the actual benchmark tests (columns H-Z) remember that LOWER NUMBERS ARE BETTER (tests are calculated in milliseconds - 0.001sec) and, at least until the spreadsheet is finished, there is no 'Overall Score'. The spreadsheet should be used only to compare the speed and available RAM of the ROMs.
Spreadsheet Info:
• A link to each ROM thread has been included (column Z).
• Added 'Android Friendly' to Column F (if "Android Compatible/Friendly" is stated in ROM thread).
• Also included 'Free RAM on First Boot' to Column G.
• I had originally made this for my self as a reference so most ROMs currently benchmarked are 23xxx+ builds.
HD2 Benchmarks Spreadsheet
For more info about SPB Benchmark and how to use it take a look here - Topaz 'Official' and 'User Submitted' Benchmarks.
Notice: highlighted/grayed out rows are for test purposes (different ways of initial setup after flash and before the test) and I will leave them up for reference. As of now (Sep 12th) I will be using a combination of tests #1 and #2 (referring to highlighted EnergyROMs). The Hd2 is a very tricky device to accurately bench for speed, but I basically figured it out. This is how:
1 - Flash using flashaholicRUU (task29+flash)
2 - Hard-reset + soft-reset
3 - Install SPB, remove SD, Airplane mode, disable "screen off", disable Sense
4 - Soft-reset and plug into power (let it sit for a minute)
5 - Run test
Please let me know if you want a ROM benchmarked. And if you're a chef and think my results for your ROM are waaaaay off let me know
UPDATE: I have recently finished testing just about all updated ROMs that are TmoUS compatible (including many 21x versions) and will put them on the spreadsheet on Sep 16th. Please let me know if you want anything added.
Oh No not another benchmark thread. LOL Good luck.
Already a question why is it that my test for write 1mb file are 304 and on your test 351?
Maybe you should check your Storage card? Just stating that your numbers are far off from mine with the same test and software.

All devices are different, that's why all tests need to be done on the same device
What steps did you follow for the test? (like airplane mode, was it charging..)
And I didn't leave a storage card in for the tests. Which ROM were you benching?
EDIT: Ok so you are right lol, sorry. For some of the later benched ROMs I didn't realize that since I use a USB hub that is plugged into both the PC and AC, it was causing the device to sync w/ PC via activesync (depending on airplane mode status). I just ran the test for your ROM, Touch of Glass, again and the Write 1mb File came out to 303 .
Thankfully I logged the date each test was taken so I will be re-benching most of the newer releases :/ ..my bad.
For reference, the setup process I use is as follows:
task29 and flash ROM (flashaholicRUU)
hard Reset
move spbbenchmark.cab from sd to device root
remove sd
double soft reset and check free RAM
install SPBbenchmark.cab
turn airplane mode on and plug into AC power
run test. (thankfully the test only takes 5 min, 1/3 of the time it took w/ topaz!)
Awaiting the all new test results so accordingly I shall decide the ROM to put on my baby.

Yeah I had to take some time to figure out how to accurately test ROMs on the Hd2. Not sure if you noticed the highlighted Energy Roms on the sheet, but that (with some other tests) revealed the most accurate way to use SPBbenchmark on the HD2/Leo.
I have a lot of free time for the next few days so I can get almost all of them tested correctly and quickly.

Yes I had noticed the highlighted but mis-understood as an error.
So next few days you will waste your time on this.
The reason I need such stats is At times The ROMs are not as promising as they are shown by the Chef. Thus these data's should help. Further even the Chef can understand after their modding how their ROMs perform.
Yes that's all very true, that's why the numbers have to be accurate
hey dude,

Yeah sorry, I had to have someone else test all the Roms on a seperate device to see what differences we could find. I benchmark just about every Rom I flash, which is most of em', so the list wil be updated with the latest releases when finished (Also going to wait for a few more Roms with CHT2.0 built in to be released to get those marks on there as well)

[FIX][Update] HTCCamera APK for Shutter Sound,Thunder Cloud & real 5MP

If you are using the EVO based build, you can ignore this thread.
This fix is ONLY for Desire based build with EVO's Camera application.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FIX IF YOU ARE USING THE EVO BASED BUILD.
First!!
After i fix the real 5MP capture in HTCCamera, i have also fix the Thunder Cloud Review window in HTCCamera today.
The fix APK is including the real 5MP fix and correct review window after you capture.
There is no more thunder & cloud strange picture again. You can also do some actions, like Share,Delete,Goto Media Gallery or Capture again.
What's the fix
1.fix the Thunder Cloud Review Window
2.fix the real 5MP
3.fix the Shutter Sound , if you use my old file, please download it again(Update @2010/11/07)
I have only test in Desire base, OTA 2.29
How to install it?
The APK CAN NOT INSTALL into your HD2 Android.
You have two way to install this fix.
Make sure your /system is Rear/Write not Read Only.
1. Putting the HTCCamera.apk into your HD2 SD Card using File Explorer with root access, copy the fixed HTCCamera.apk to /system/app and overwrite the original one, if you can find HTCCamera.odex in the /system/app, please delete it. In order to prevent the default shutter sound, you have delete(or rename) the camera_click.ogg in system. Go to /system/media/audio/ui and find out the camera_click.ogg, delete it or rename it.
I suggest you can use a Free root File Explorer called "Super Manager". The software you can search it on Market by "Super Manager" or "gpc". It is my design. It can help you move the fixed APK file into /system/app.
2. Using shell command
Code:
adb push HTCCamera.apk /system/app
adb shell rm /system/app/HTCCamera.odex
adb shell rm /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg
If you use it in your release build, CREDITS, thanks
How to use it?
First, you have using the last EVO-bases kernel and the attachment APK file.
After installing it, you just have to launch the Camera.
If you are lucky, you can enjoy the new real 5 Mega pixel camera without Thunder Cloud right now. You don't have to reset you HD2-Android.
Enjoy it!!
If the fix is helpful, you can donate to me. thanks
Awesome!
Thanks a lot. I've been looking for something like this for quite a while.
Oh yes !
Thanks a lot !
Thanks for your work. now fix HD recording
(i know its codec related)
i have tried this but it just disable review after photo taking, is it something wrong?
Worked like a charm for me. thanks.
I used Android Commander to copy the file, I tried using super manager like you said but it would copy the file incorrectly to 0.00k, weird.
Anyway works now.
Thanks man. Works great.
Great Job
Tested Work 100%
Thanks
Does this fix the widescreen picture at 5mpx resolution. I don't think so

Any one having this resolution with this?
2592*1944 (Real 5 Mega Pixel)
How is it possible?
I did as mentioned in the first post, cloud at preview has been successfully fixed, but I didn't get the real 5 mega pixel. I desire it!
Can some one please help me?
After replacing my Camera app I now have no camera app at all! I tried 3 or 4 times, downloaded the file twice and used 2 different root explorers, including the one suggested.
Anyone know what could be causing this?
I am using a Desire-based build for Tmo-US, and I upgraded the kernel to Hastarin r8 before attempting this.
EDIT: Nevermind, switched builds now fix is already applied
works for me!
Hiya, first a big thanks for this one, seems to work perfectly, getting full 5mp (2592 x 1944) res photo's without the cloud stuff, review window works well, seems to keep to the 5 second timeout i put in settings for it too.. replaced original file with android commander btw, just make sure u got usb debugging mode on for that to work
one more request though: could you also fix the setting for shutter sound? i've tried setting it off/on, but the sound remains on no matter what the setting says.. i don't know if that's kernel related (though i don't think so), so that would be really nice if u could fix that as well
working with darkstone froyostone 3.2 with hastarin r8 + letama's pppd wrapper v0.3 here
edit: been trying some more settings, and it seems that setting the camera to widescreen just stretches the photo to widescreen, the picture looks squashed compared to what u see in the viewfinder(screen) before u take the photo. doesn't seem to be the case for the 4:3 mode though, taking pictures there just gives nice unsquashed photos
Perfect !
Thank for your hard work !
But how to ZOOM ?!

We don't have HTC customize camera library.
The camera library in your HD2 is based on Nexus One with some modify. It is impossible to fix the widescreen and face detection in HD2 HTC [email protected] without the HTC customize camera library for HD2.
I think it is very hard for us to get the camera library.
If we can get the HTC customize camera library source (NOT the current library with the open source,Nexus One), we can modify it to work in HD2.
However, how can we get the source code?
Maybe somebody can be a thief and steal the source code from HTC office
I remember 1 of the version from darkstone ROM, the camera face detection is working fine. But i can't recall which version is that.

forum, updated kernel to Hastarin 8.5.1 old cam.
two weeks of pure bliss, really, thats all i can say. I leave this if you are a fan of
MIUI, then this is definitely worth a test
Advantages:
- No screen freeze at all (just leave Auto Rotate Screen in setting, default is on)
- No SOD (can you believe it, never had any) (See Recommended steps)
- No Robo voice
- No screen wakeup delay
- Wifi works
- Market apps installs without any hassles
- 3G indicates HSPA if you are in its coverage
- Almost no data drops (tip: when turning "Data" on, give it 3-5minutes to stablish a good connection then start updating FB, browse, etc)
- Working Notification lights
- Loud sounds, but not too loud
- Working ringtones, (I prefer Zedge, free membership in market)
- Fast (very fast) graphics courtesy of Hastarin tip: install spareparts in Android Market and set all animations to fast (in my test it hardly affected battery usage)
- Camera and Camcorder
- Facebook Contacts Sync (yes you read it right) for birthdays, I recommend "Birthday Assistant"
- MIUI music interface is one if not the best our there.
- loads of stuff as short cut in the pull down task bar like data, wifi, sound 14 in total including reboot function.
- Battery is excellent, better than the Stock Winmo i was on
How to achieve the best battery life in this build: (5-7mAmp on standby)
- turn "Data" on ONLY when you need to update facebook, browse the web using 3G
or use chat clients like eBuddy etc.
- consequently turn on WIFI only when in range and when you need to connect to it
- only ever use live wallpapers, when you are showing off to your friends
Recommended steps in testing this build:
- charge battery at least >70%
- HSPL 2.08 (Video Guide Link)
- Task 29 - use .nbh file of Radio 2.15 to run it (this will then be your Radio)(YouTube link)
- Flash Oct 13▐ VBNROM *Reloaded 2*▐ 21913/24634▐ WWE 3.14 Core▐ Best Battery <8mA in Standby
- Full format SDCard using SD Formatter 2.0
- Unzip the file using 7zip found here
- at first place ONLY the folder "JIGNERSMIUI" in your SDCard
- Manually run CLRCAD then haret.exe (I prefer this method as it is plain and simple)(you must activate haret.exe while bottom keypads are a light).
- sync with google and facebook
- reboot back to VBN Winmo
- connect to pc (still in winmo) then transfer all your pictures, music, videos via usb
- Turn screen off, disconnect from pc
- run CLRCAD and haret.exe again
- Note: at first run of Gallery, it will be slow as it takes time to index the photo/video
files, just be patient and give it the time it needs (5-10min) depends on how
many photo files you have. After that it will be fast

another battery saving tip: screen brightness setting
- at night or in dark places only set 20% - 30% of the indicator bar
- at daylight or bright places about 30% - 50%
startup.txt states
"rel_path=miui.rootfs nand_boot=0"
Should i re-name the unziped folder to miui.rootfs?
**EDIT** Yes it does need to be re named. **EDIT**

Sorry about the mixup, but there is a new download link in first post.
thanks for your patience and now the folder is "miui.rootfs"
so no need to edit startuptext.
Could you tell me where the cat utility is located so I can install adfree? Thx, great build, I am going to use this as my daily build

thanks for the sharing.I love miui builds
i love all the MIUI builds & this one seems like the fastest that i've tried, only problem that i have (and i've had it with every MIUI build) is that after i set everything up, sync google, restart the phone & boot back up into android it freezes up when i see the "Preparing to scan sd card" notification in the taskbar. locks up & have to reset. happens everytime.

Have you gone through all the recommended steps i made in the first post?
it would be worth trying it, as these are the steps I made and i firmly believe
this made running the build on my device stable.
Does the theme manager works? It doesn't work in MIUI 26.11.
im running a different winmo rom (my own), formatted 8gb sd card fat 32, didnt task29 but did hard reset.
maybe a temp fix, but i downloaded Startup Manager from the market and disabled the boot media scan. works for now

DISCONTINUED - [ROM][13-mar-2011][v0.4] Dexter's xt720 MotoBlur remake

so here is the Blur edition based on my 2.2.1.
You can also follow updates on Twitter now: Dexter Picard (DexterPicard) on Twitter or
if you like my mod or you can visit my new homepage at Dexter's mods
Changelog v0.4 maintenance release Download nandroid image here
- memory enhancements (some not majors)
- original 2.1 cam included.
Changelog v0.3a Download nandroid image here
- fixed blur account registration to be using UK options, instead of chinese options
- changed memory handling to be UI optimized, but limiting options for bigger games to run though (see it as UI friendly but not games friendly)
Changelog v0.3
- 720P recording works now.
- HDMI output partly working, note: if enabled to tv out, you cannot shutdown the output, so android display appear on tv, which is a bug. but it works!
- NOT working: FMRadio
- Using latest defy 2.2 UK update, with more languages supported, like uk,german, french, italian, dutch, polish and few more others.
- USB old app from 2.2 added (please ignore wifi orange icon in taskbar, thanks!)
- removed some malware + swype defy edition.
- not deodex'd (much faster load times)
- ZOOM removed (not supported by our model)
- OpenRecovery not included in nandroid, please install after restore, to keep functionality in place.
- MilestoneOverclock app not included, but module and oc-settings file supported.
- ext2sdcard automatically enabled if found on partition2 of sdcard.
- gameloft games require more memory this rom got like 35MB free when running, so you need to tweak apps if you want games to run.
Install instructions:
Make sure sdcard is visible, when you get to step 6 of instructions, or it all fails, same with restore..
NOTE: only works on top of 2.1 sbf installs, due to large amound of /system storage..
A: users with stock 2.1 can proceed to step 1 in instructions.
B: users with stock SBF korean 2.2 rom , need to flash stock 2.1 and goto step 1
root it (SuperOneClick ) - included with zip
install OpenRecovery , use included apk.
reboot phone once
copy the folder "nandroid" to root directory of your sdcard.
Make sure sdcard is not attached to pc using "mass storage share" to pc.
Run OpenRecovery app and "install Recovery".
Press Boot recovery
restore the backup "blur22xxxx"
wipe / factory reset in OpenRecovery
reboot
OC-SETTINGS
you can add a file onto the sdcard with overclock settings which loads at startup.
see example included with zip file release for more details.
copy it directly to sdcard, and you got 1Ghz settings configured.
note: editing the file with notepad might corrupt it as its linux formatted, so use an editor with support for linux text files.
Issues reported in v0.3:
none for now
v0.1 is now online!
DEFINITELY testing this when I get home
Dex you're a genius
refresh, refresh.. downloading.... restoring
More info tomorrow, 10x Dexter !
haven't gotten a chance to flash yet, download is taking FOREVER, but after its done, if i wanna change back, do i just do a nandroid restore of one of your froyo roms? or do i have to flash back to 2.1 first?
OH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
I was about to sell the XT720 because I wanted Blur. Now I'll have it!
I LOVE YOU!
I hope it comes in spanish language soon
first bugs to report (quite a few...)
I recieve multiples of sms messages, e.g., i would recieve the same message from the same person several times.
market does not like to have multiple downloads at the same time.
in the app drawer, the very very bottom of the screen is slightly cut off, no big deal, just saying.
in the Blur messaging widget, using the reply button on the widget will.not allow the message to send, message can still be typed, but will.not send.
vibrate function will randomly stop working, and requires a reboot.
media gallery button serves as voice command..? yeah.
market and browser will occasionally not work on wifi.
if there are more bugs i will be right on it
now the good
Blur works!!!
ram is not totally devoured, actually pretty good compared to previous froyo release. (although some system apps like the included task manager and bluetooth are constantly running, i do not have bluetooth on.)
very stable, usable build, i will be using it daily until the next release.
great stuff dex

Few bugs from me:
- Market download/install is very, very slow.
- I think that maybe there is some battery drain because from my last post (in the middle of the night) after I install Blur till now - 50% down. This is with 3g and few mails to check. TEMP+CPU shows 36C but when I wake up I think that the phone was s little hot in the back.
Except Blur I don`t have different software installed (comparing to 2.2).
During this post the phone don`t recognize the USB in PC... I`m not sure were is the problem (phone., soft or PC) so for the moment this is not reported.
- Maybe this is not a bug, but there is japan letters in some menus - phone (when I dial persons, recent call s and rrs news).
- It`s stupid but the phone unlock (slide) is very much harder than before...
- There is more free memory (This is not a bug!)

thanks to all for the quick reporting back.
- sms -
i think i know where the problem is, as it also happened on milestone :-( and i recall i got it fixed.
- jananese text -
not sure im able to fix, i dont get the lang, and im no translator..
- battery drain -
Blur is known for taking huge cpu and not being "sleepy", just looking at the log output happening during sleep is huge.. i did not expect Blur to be optimized at all.. and im not sure how it can be fixed except removed Blur, with a Deblur.
- slider -
yes, it seems it release your touchpoint much quicker than it should.. ill look at it, i think someone else wrote something like this on korean rom.
- usb .
i used only debugging, so i never actually confirmed usb mass storage.. will be checked later on..
- networking -
i noticed it too with Market, there is an issue with the Market im aware of, but might require a deodex'd of packages, which cost speed and memory/storage, so im not sure how much i do on this subject for now..

please do not put anything into this..
it could relate to a bug in h264 or aac encoding, so if LGCamera does not encode video or audio with aac, you know the reason..
Yes! MotoBlur Gonna try it asap @Dexter: Little hint: maybe a few screenshots of how it looks on the XT720?
And can I help with translating or is that not possible? 'Cause I've translated various programs, I love to do that and I have a lot of spare time, so I can translate it if possible.

LG camera sucks for me. I'm using a camera from the Android market now, but I can use it only at 3.2MP in the free version. But it is still really good
There are some problems with the Blur accounts (I can't setup facebook for the social widgets) And the phone doesn't read my music and some pictures in the SD card.
Everything else is just
-Facebook account issues
After creating and signing in with Facebook, account disappears and contacts are not synced in contacts and cannot add facebook account again.....

for twitter and facebook, the Blur edition used (defy 2.2), it did not actually come with those apps :-( , so maybe chinese ppl do not have it allowed? even GPS was disabled originally..

for people used to knowing motorola and their products, Blur might not need much presentation, it pretty much looks Blur to me.. and i admit knowing alot who goes for a Deblur edtion, but that i leave up to people to decide..
