True,Im testing mine... But I think most devs are waiting for a couple things to be finished first. I'm really waiting for a super kernel,OCed and UVed all the way,Meat (xjman) should be working on one,and his kernels for the Moment were the best.If he dosnt have one finished I think Ill use genocide kernel in my ROM. Couldn't agree more with previous posts. Surely donate to devs you appreciate, particularly if you get comfortable and use their rom almost exclusively. But never believe you've "hired" them because you haven't. In fact in some cases devs may lose that 'warm and fuzzy' feeling they get from sharing their great work with grateful users if they feel those users are just greedy and needy wanting everything handed to them.
I fix computers for friends/acquantances all the time, and when I know someone a) will appreciate it and b) has put effort in to fix an issue themselves already, I actively bug them to let me help them fix it. Some other people (my sister is one) assume that because their friends/relatives that I should drop everything I'm doing at any given moment, or at the end of a very long day of work and immediately run over to their house (even if it's a laptop) and fix whatever issue they're having at the moment. This usually before they've even attempted fixing it themselves. Those people don't usually get my help even when I do have the time...
Just some food for thought. It wasn't necessarily a bad question (maybe if it was asked next week or 2 weeks from now I might be wondering if they were having issues with sammy's source code or something), I just know that especially with such a small development community, I want the devs to know that we're mostly very grateful for any great work that is shared with us, and also that we the users are here to try and help provide constructive feedback regarding bugs, fixes, features etc anyway we can. Keep the good times rolling devs!

When dk28 was released many new roms popped up..right now most developers of roms already implemented a lot of customizations over time..these customizations need to be tested and etc..
Not to mention since there i source it leaves a lot of room for improvement..EB133 stock is a pretty good rom..and improving upon it takes time...

Yea at least these chicks and dudes are a lot faster than the samsung peeps were at getting us updates. Should be thankful we get new roms as fast as we do!
Let me clarify from the beginning, this is not in negative feeling at all. Purely respect and anticipation.
It really seems our wonderful developers are a little quiet. I realize they all have real lives but makes this user wonder what may be in the oven... With the way they've been treated by some I wouldn't be surprised if they are keeping some recipes secret right now... lol
Wonder what they have on the oven timers right now that we will see in the XDA windows soon
..
Have to appreciate all these guys after all most of us a running Froyo while most owners are still despising not having it...

Devs are working on their own projects mostly atm. Kaos is working with CM7, jamezelle with MIUI, jt with AOSP, and SirGatez on the .32 kernel. Everyone else is just waiting for either the OTA, Samsung's source, or the next leak. Unfortunately, with just binary leaks and no source to work from, it's difficult to do much else.
I cant speak for anyone else, but right now I am dealing withreal life issues. I've been busy trying to get my daughter's asthma under control.

Hope she is doing ok. You need to learn as much about it as her Doctors. A lot easier to do now than 25 years ago when my son started with his asthma.

nerve to root my phone. Running EB01 Super clean 2.4 and
trying barnacle tether with my laptop.

I'm a n00b, but wanted to give Master some love. Axura has been my daily driver since I got the Vibrant and has done nothing but meet or exceed expectations. Good luck.

QTF stands for "Quite f...ing talking" or "Quote for truth" or WTF *g* depends on the response
/10char just helps to jump over the 10char minimum of an entry in various board implementations

Which if I may add is, in my Opinion the Best and Most Loyal forum on XDA!
With that said... I'm Sad to say that come Monday I Should have my HTC EVO 3D! Don't worry though I'll Definitely stop in from time to time to Check on my Favorite community hands Down! And I'll continue to do what I can for Anyone who needs Help whether for my ExEnHeroC ROM or just General Q & A! Finally I guess, I could only Hope that the Developers and community over in the EVO 3D section is at least half as Helpful as my Hero Friends have been!

They will not be shipped unlocked, but rather you have to register up with HTC to use their tool to unlock it, or not void you warranty as far as Sprint knows by using the AlphaRevX's Revolutionary bootloader unlock tool.

Question... Now as far as Rooting, and Recovery goes with the 3D, Which method would you Suggest is the Fastest or Easiest that's Available at the moment?

Currently the only available way is the revolutionary.io way. There are guides in the Android Development section for the 3D that gives you step by step help with obtaining S-OFF then root. Also when flashing your first recovery image I recommend the hboot flashed TWRP recovery, as you get more options. Basically the steps are 1) Obtain S-OFF 2) Flash a recovery 3) Flash superuser zip to obtain root 4) Reboot and enjoy your new rooted Evo 3D. After that it is up to you what you want to do.
I can't wait to get my 3D, but currently any money I have is going towards buying my college supplies so my father says I'll get mine in Sep possibly. So I'll see you then!

The 3D is still fairly New, So I guess like with the Hero it comes with the territory! But I'm with you man its Frustrating as Hell... when you have to deal with the Know it All Idiots! Especially when a good percentage of them really Don't have a clue at all! Lol!

I very much recommend that you DO NOT take the new OTA on your Evo 3D when you get it. THE OTA PATCHES THE ROOT AND S-OFF PROCEDURES. So when you get your phone, confirm you have an hboot under 1.5 and also that you are on Android 2.3.3 not 2.3.4. If you are 2.3.4, you can't get root right now. My brother just got the OTA and I've been reading around and heard it breaks root and root procedures.

Do you know if its Possible to Root the 3D Without actually Activating it? In other words Sprints sending it to me in the mail, so is it Possible to Root it Before Activation, and then Still Activate it by Phone?
I don't see why not. The root doesn't break any of the core installation and activation files.

I tried looking a bit for the Best or should I say Easiest method and I'm leaning towards the Revolutionary process! And It's asking for my Serial number... Do you know How to Find it?
I tried... But for some reason the Serial# Read All Zeros 000000000!
