Has anyone tried one of the 1500mah batteries that are available? Are they any improvement on the one that comes with the phone?

This battery is dedicated to HTC Evo 4G but if U pluck red cover U can use it with Desire Z. Improvement battery time is about 20%. If U looking for good battery I can recommend you Mugen batteries.

3G Browsing

Hi,
When i'm browsing over 3g my battery life is very short despite having four bars of signal. I'll get maybe three to four hours on 3G and nearlly twice that over GPRS. Is this about standard? From other posts I know the power consumption of 3G is greater but this seems a very short battery life.
yeah, 3g really drains the battery, the only suggestion I got is update your radio,. also get bandswithc and put it to gsm when your not browsing. or buy the 3000mah battery.

Looking is not a bad thing.

These guys really have it worked out nicely
that's the latest HTC they got there - I see they've not gone for the iphone nicey nicey looks but gone for solid durability this time.

Need help identifying if this is a fake battery

I just bought this off ebay (i know) it was suppose to be a OEM battery for my wing. But when I compared this to my wing's battery I noticed that my battery is made in Taiwan and most of the pictures of the OEM battery say the same, but this one I bought says its made in CHINA? does anyone elses battery say that?
Heres the battery in question.

Heres the battery that came with my wing.
That's actually the same battery I have in my wing.
Oh. . . I see the difference you're talkin' about. Mine's made in Taiwan as well.
Yes it is a Legit
No the battery is not fake. It is an original battery. I have confirmed it is same as I have on my ing and will be getting a replacement pretty soon. I think you have a problem of the battery not holding charge correct? And this happens with the chinese as well taiwanes batteries, right? Well i strongly suspect that there are only two possibilites. 1- The OS and the phone are power hungry. 2 - Dyna pack makes the worst batteries.

Dock and the whole time charging..

hey folks,
it's that never ending question i guess
i buyed that nice KIDIGI Dock for my dhd..it looks so pretty in it..and with the "Desk Clock" it adds a nice look to my desk.
so my question is, if its really that bad to keep it in there all the time. what about trickle charging? does usb support this?
i dont wanna damage my battery..
btw: when i get home, my battery is normally about 60% charged..if i put it in the dock whenever its on 60% it shouldnt damage it right? the memory effect can't happen on li-ion batterys compared to ni-cd ones i guess...
any tips?
how do you handle it?
DN41
ah btw: if you wanna have some pictures of the dhd in the dock, it's a pleasure to share them with you!
Li-ion battery does not have memory. They have a limited life time. Normally around 2 years. Whether you charge it or not, does not make a difference.
You can go read the boring details on Wikipedia.
ok thanks...so i think i'm gonna have that great look all the time
btw: this is it

A month of battery life... uses a freaking single AA battery so double that 'cuz they come in pairs out-of-the-box-
They decided to improve efficiency by having employee nap time be the same time they read aloud the customer feedback responses.

I'm amaze that Asus can squeeze 7-8hrs out of a 3300mah battery when the other tablets pack +6000mah.

I thought it has two 3300mAh cells in parallel. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

wow i totally had a blonde moment there lol. you're right, the transformer comes with 2 batteries.
There is basically little to no free space in this thing! I would like to see the keyboard dock taken apart as well!
