What do you want to change? Your message notification or your ringtone?

notification sound
You can just go to your message app and then select settings and there's a section for notification. To use your own sound, you must place the sound file in the ringtone folder of your phone I believe.

Hi, guys
I have a desire hd from vodafone australia. Surprisingly the Bluetooth voice dialer app is missing for political reason, so I can't press my Bluetooth headset button to initiate a call (while answering the call using the button has no problem).
I tried VLingo but not very happy about it. Is there a way I can download the default Bluetooth voice dialer anywhere?
Thanks!

Hello
When I use the phone pad and start typing a contact name instead of number, the phone finds the contacts that their firs name match the typed values. In my HTC HD it does the same but also on the Last Name and even on the email address if present in the contact.
Is this a setting issue in the Galaxy S / Android or a limitation of the implementation?
Thanks
Ophir
Please anyone?
Good question. I think it's just the way Samsung made the dialer app.
Try to change the sort order in contacts/settings/display**.

You can use another dialer, for instance "Dialer One" is capable of that (although it is not as good looking as the stock dialer to me)

Firstly, 2 confirm if ur phone's vibration (hardware) still works...
Does it vibrate when u use d keyboard in WinMo or Android?
You have to activate both vibrations.
sms:
sms->settings->vibration: always (default is none)
phone:
mhhh, can't remember...find it yourself in settings.
=)
It does not vibrate when I use the keyboard for texting etc (and yes, I have enabled all vibrate settings)

also it doesn't vibrate when you boot?
if not then i think your hardware is broken

Hello all, i have Galaxy Note for couple of days and i am so happy with it and that is my first telephone of that sort...
So used to have and still using phones like N73 and N82 where is my another SIM cards for another operators and they both say callers name witch is one of the best extras on these phones because i dont need to go to telephone to see who calling
Is there a software or something that can make my Note to have same capability ?
I ask because Nokia comes with it by default and from Note i never heard such thing...

oh good, i couldn't remeber how i turned mine on ....
Settings->Voice input and output->Text-to-speech settings-> Driving mode checked
Settings->Voice input and output->Text-to-speech settings-> Driving mode settings: You can select here which notifications are read aloud
in latest midnote 3.2 ICS u can also set caller ID on sanity settings
'Call announcer' is nice.
Announcify is also nice. It's open source too (source on GitHub).
It can read out caller ID for phone calls, SMS/MMS, e-mail, etc…
I have a Nokia n73 as well! ! good camera phone for its time! !
