may I have your help please

Hallo,
the past days i´ve been looking for a ringer that automatically lowers the ring volume when you lift up the phone or mutes when you flip the phone face down
Just like it works on the new htc wildfire and the htc desire hd
is there an app which does this for the HTC HD2

If your running windows mobille stock rom and im going to assume you are. Your phone should already do this, if not slide to settings in sense and chose sounds or something along them lines. I cant remember exactly I've been running android that long I forgot lol should be in there.

Silly sounds problem

Hey everyone im using zedge and trying to assign a notification tone but when i recieve texts it plays the normal tone any one know what im dooing wrong cheerd

are you using the default sms app? I had this when i got my first android phone. Way round it was to disable the notification within the default app & then go into prefs of the new sms app.
Hope this helps.... if you already know this then i'm out of ideas :S

This. You have to disable the first app or you'll get either two notifications or just the standard SMS one.

After s-on, a problem went, another came...

Hi,
I had touch screen issue and had decided to send my device for warranty. So i had to unroot and s-on again and i did them. Now there is no screen issue (it was feeling multitouch while it is charging so i couldn't use my device) but keyboard issue started. I don't know how to explain, when i press a key with FN, some keys response like another key. For example, FN+M keys should be used to get plus mark but i have to use FN+B to have it. All keys on bottom side of keyboard (z,x,c,v,b,n,m,?,) have issue like this. I have installed wwe ruu 2.42.405.2 and morelocale 2 app to get turkish language. Do they effect this? Reboot didn't solve problem...

Screen wake on incoming SMS?

Hey everyone, anyone know if there is an app that wakes the screen on incoming text? I'm always on silent mode at work and need a way to know when I get a text.
I looked and couldn't find anything that looked like it.
I'm using paranoidandroid 1.9.7 rom if that makes a difference.
Any suggestions?

I believe go sms has that option your looking for

Also, MIUI defaults this way. You may not want to change ROMs, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I will check out go sms. I had handcent before which did it too but there are too many features built into it that I don't want, but I like the native app because it's simple and looks nice.

I prefer to use the native app on my phone, and I often have my phone on silent as well, so I use Tasker + the Secure Settings plugin to wake my device when I receive an SMS.

[Q] QuickContact component missing

Hi, I'm using miroslav_mm SDSL 3.0 rom ad I'm having an issue with widget that use quickcontact. I'm using GO SMS Pro widget that shows the contact portrait received SMS's. When the portrait is clicked a quickcontact bar should pop up with shortcuts to call, send SMS or edit the contact but instead a pop out the following message: 'QuickContact component cannot be found in your system'. The same happens with GO Contacts widget.
Anyone knows how to get this working because on Google Play, GO SMS or even GO Contacts widgets say that this is working on Android 2.1 or later so should be working on 2.3.7...

it was already there... the problem isn't in this widget alone, all widget that call quickcontacts component have this problem!

Then it could be something related to SDSL.. did you try to reflash the rom? that could help!

Man, I'm always flashing new roms, now I'm experimenting leoposas zoe 2.0 rom, it's basically sdsl but with some tweaks of his... and when i say i'm always flashing new roms i mean backup contacts & sms, factory reset, format system+boot and then flash new rom. Basically cleanest flash is impossible

I've figured it out, quickcontacts component is embedded on contacts.apk, i'm using go contacts so i uninstalled the stock one.
