HTC Magic don't boot up after reset

hi
i just reset to factory default in the settings. after that will the phone not boot up. It's just flashing the hero logo. And the PC can't connect to the phone no more(both in Windows 7 and Windows XP). The ROM are myhero 1.1.2, and works well in 2 months.
please, help me how do i fix it!

Same problem here myHero stucked after hard reset.
ROM myHero 2.5 , after hard reset , simply freezes on boot (exactly when the green androids apear). Cant use adb to flash it again cos it doesent find the devices. I dont know what to do my fone is bricked because I wanted to do a Hard reset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unbelivable! Please someone help!!!

What makes you think that your phone is bricked?
If your phone was actually bricked then you would not be able to get into bootloader OR recovery. If this is not the case then you are not bricked.
I suggest to anyone having this issue to wipe your ext partition on your sdcard, clear and wipe your data, reflash your rom.
Why people don't perform nandroid backups really puzzle the hell out of me.

[Q] HELP: Stuck on Logo after 2.2

Please help me!
I tried going straight from ATT 1.6 to Steve's 2.2. Now when I try to boot, the screen just stays on the dell logo. What can I do? Is there anyway I can downgrade back to 1.6? I can't access my sd card, since my phone won't go past the logo. I tried wiping data already and factory resetting.

[Q] HELP!!! Rom Manager bricked my device!!

here's the story,
i installed rom manager from the market. flashed the clockwork recovery using it, then tried to flash a new rom using rom manager. i am sure that the rom is compatible with my settings. now my phone is in the boot loop and i can't get into recovery nor the bootloader. any help?

Did you pull the battery and then try booting into recovery/bootloader? If you get thrown into the bootloop when you put the battery back in, try holding back/home while putting the battery in.

Thanks for helping me! I actually did try that method but I was back to boot loop again. I really hate that "Rogers" screen.
Does that mean I'm bricked for good?

as it turns out, HTC makes magical device as it cured itself from the brick!!
i basically gave up and just left it running till the battery goes out, the next day, it is booted into the rom.
truly magical!!!!

True happened to me once when I tried to load my first rom. Just let it sit there while I'm searching the forums trying to look for some answers then voila it booted up properly

too bad i semi bricked it AGAIN!!! i really am bad at this...
flashed rogers official rom over cm. should have done some research first. still trying to fix it. but its not bad, learn a lot everything time i do something wrong.

Did you wipe prior to flashing a new rom?

I've done the same mistake and my device hanged at rogers rom with radion 3.22 and SPL 1.76 S-ON. I've briked mine very bad that time, but yours might yet be recoverable. If you have s-off, the i think you're saved. Post your hboot info here...

Hi... I have similar problem... but my phone can't power on... in have samsung galaxy gio (GT-S5660M) after using rom manager... the phone reboot and can't start... nothings appear in the screen... I have only black screen... nothings appears
I try to remove the battery and put again... but nothing... I try to remove the sd card too and restart again... nothing... the cellphone not power on... I dont see any screen of logo, boot... nothing...
When I apple rom manager... the phone are disconnected (not charging)
Anybody can help me please ??

[Q] Stucked in Start Logo Screen. How to solve?

Hi guys!
While browsing over the internet my phone simple restarted. But this time, it is stucked into the Samsung Omnia 7 logo. I tried removing the battery and nothing. Also, Zune does not recognize it since OS does not start.
I've tried to do hard reboot. Nothing. Also, I tried to enter in download mode, and flash it. The flshing process was perfect and complete, but after all, my phone is still stucked into the start screen. I don't know what else can I do.
Any ideas?

Do you have 8 or 16GB version? Some weird pattern is starting to show up ).
And what ROM did you flash?

I have the 8GB version.... I flashed that one in the guide you guys suggested here in XDA.

You should try the latest one. Or the UK unbranded one.

Just did flash with two more ROMs. Nothing.
I don't know what else more I can do. I'm frustrated.

Focus 1.3 Stuck at Samsung Logo - Looks like endless reboot loop

My 1.3 focus is stuck in the Samsung logo screen. It lloks like it is in an endless reboot as the logo will go away for a moment then reappear.
I am able to get the phone into Download and Format mode with out issue.
I have also been able to succesfully reflash the original firmware without issue, but the same result none the less.
Any ideas on this?
I had put the mi7 ROM on which worked fine. This morning phone was stuck on the logo. I reflashed the mi7 without issue as well before trying the original Samsung ROM

i have this same problem with my focus its also ver 1.3
i had an error on the mango update (usb cable bad apparently) according to the code, and after the failed update the phone was acting stupid and cutting out when it wants so i flashed the phone with the rogers rom, and it worked fine attempted to do the mango update again in a diff usb port and got the same error so i went to reflash the phone again so i could get my mate to try his cable the flash seemed to go through with no issues until the first reboot, then instead of getting the connect to computer screen i just got the samsung logo flashing up then restarting and flashing the samsung logo again i have tryed to flash again with diff versions of the tool and original rom and rogers rom many times but still get the same thing the only strange thing is that i cant get into the hard reset mode i can get into download mode fine but not format it just flashes back to the same flashing samsung screen Please Help or is the phone Buggered at a wild guess iv got a problem with the internal memory ??? Lost and need help

I see. You're the 4th person I encounter having this problem after flashing magldr. You should ask in the magldr thread. I'm not sure if it's really magldr related but I don't see anything else that could cause it...
Make sure you specify there your revision(3/4)/ as well as OS version.
