I dont have this issue
The Youtube update made it do that. I uninstalled the update and reverted back to the original one that came with the phone and no more problems.
So it didn't happen by default. It happened cuz you kept switching the orientation one after another. I'm not saying I'm okay with the so called bug what I am saying is maybe you shouldn't be doing that to the phone. No user is going to constantly flip the phones orientation and try to"make" something go wrong

it's not just when changing orientation. Mine was buggy as soon as I hit the back button to exit out of a video. Like I said, it was the new Youtube version that was buggy.

Ok,
does anyone else notice that the Atrix touch screen location seems a bit off?
I really notice it during browsing the internet and it seems it needs calibration. I cant say how many times I have had to click back an redo my clicking action. It seems that when you click its not accurate...
Any one else notice?
Can it be recalibrated?
D
Yeah I've noticed this too. It's not too bad but it is moderately annoying.

SAME HERE
Yep, same problem here but only happens in the browser. No problems typing at all but I always click a link and it seems to click a link or two above my intended selection. This problem was also even more prominent when I tried to use the firefox browser which seems to be the only browser that will allow me access to my schools website..sticking through it for now in hopes that a software update will fix it unless other users aren't having this problem, maybe just need to exchange this particular device.

After reading your post I agree with you. I mostly notice the problem with the browser. I do notice it slightly when typing but this could be do to me coming from an Iphone 4 with the keyboard being slightly different.
I dont know if you tried the browser Skyfire, but this was the only browser that I could make changes and save them when accessing the Google Voice settings from my phone. The standard browser, firefox, and even opera didnt display the full page so I was unable to actually save my changes.
Skyfire has its annoyances as well but its the best I found so far...
Thanks

Well Mine was annoying to type in landscape cause the spacebar was about 1mm higher then it looks. Felt like I was typing a "B" to hit the spacebar.
That was annoying but now, now I have the Nexus screen flip-out! Any time I type or touch the screen the thing flips out. It has a area that is seeing a perminate touch or something.. there is a app on the market that allows you to see where the touch points are. I'll have to down load it and then show someone at ATT to get it replaced... I'm irritated cause at this point I've got a lot of work in it and I cna't just make a nandroid and then restore on my next device..
Sorry about the double post, its not letting me edit my last.

If it is like the Nexus, no software won't fix it, or at least never did. They claimed they were "looking into it" BS for you'll replace it soon enough..
Is anyone else having the touch flip out issue? with multitouch visulizer or multitouch tool see what you get. I ran visulizer on mine and after about 2 min it had a perminate point on the top right corner, eventually it locked up to the point of not being able to use it.
Well hopefully there is a fix for it...I kind of put myself in a tight spot as I installed adeo rom prematurely and as far as I know there is no going back to stock yet. On top of that im pretty sure DG is done done with the atrix so unless someone picks up where he left off and I can getback to stock, ill have to live with the problem. Stupid me...

So it isn't my imagination, or my fat fingers. ONLY IN THE BROWSER. I'll touch something, and something a good 1/4" below it gets selected.
I'd say calibration also, but that doesn't explain why only in the browser. (I miss my Palm stylus!)
Are any of you facing this same problem?

Posted videos of the problem there.
I have a non rooted, XOOM running 3.0.1 and everything seemed to be great but for some reason when I start the CNN app from an icon it starts up fine and then a second or two later either closes or force closes everytime without fail. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I've tried rebooting the XOOM as welll. Still happens and I can't figure out why - it may have been the 3.0.1 update.
I usually use the CNN widget to launch videos/stories and that still works fine without issue. But if I try launching it with the app icon it crashes.
Anybody with 3.0.1 not having this issue? I'm not sure what else to try at this point other than to accept it's a bug and move on for now.
I had an update waiting for me in the Market this morning for CNN. Try updating and see if its still happening.
LOL, will have to wait until I get home. Hopefully that will fix it. I have to say though, the CNN app on XOOM is very slick and a better implementation than the current iPad one (although similar).
i get a lot of force closes as well. the update fixed some issues, but i still cannot play video since the 3.01 update. anyone else have this issue of videos not playing in CNN app?

yes it is fixed by update
Fixed!
i had the exact same problem. I couldn't keep the app open and then when it did open it wouldn't play videos. I was able to fix the issue by going into the settings, then applications, then click on the CNN app and finally click clear data. You will get a warning click OK. Now open cnn it will say opening for the first time. It should work well now, this worked flwlessly for me.
Which cnn app? I see several and want the good one

I wasn't sure where to post this as it's kind of an odd problem.
With the default browser I am suddenly getting strange behavior with the back button... instead of going back a page in the history, it is jumping to the top of the page, or seemingly refreshing the page.
It did used to work fine, and this started after I rooted (although I have no idea what may have caused it).
I guess I am trying to find out if it is a known issue, or if anyone else may have experienced this.
Thanks.

Ok, great... weird that it's a kernel issue, but I'm happy that you were able to help me identify it. Thanks!
Is this the kernel you used to fix the issue? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1109630
Also, I'm running Prime 1.4... have you reported the issue and fix in that thread? If not, I can mention it.
Thanks again.

Oh really? I've been having this problem and figured it was just a bug in the browser. I'll try the kernel to see if it fixes it.
Update: Oh wow, it works now, interesting.
it's happening across multiple devices. my gt10.1 just started doing it as well as my transformer. both at about the same time. so either some setting that i can't find was synced or it's just coincidence that both are getting weird on me at the same time.
nice to know that a custom kernel will the problems on both.
For me it only does this on the xda forums...every other site ive been to so far has worked normally.

same kernel didn't help me, still can't use back key and this is both stock and dolphin browser.
Opera work great.

Yeah, keyboard lag/misbehavior is frustrating wih the default browser. Opera is somewhat better. I'll try Firefox next.

Was yours also working ok before rooting?
This has been a rather annoying issue for me since 2.1.
However, it only happens while a page is loading. If you stop the page loading before hitting back it won't do it.

i try going back to stock kernel with no luck

Switching the theme under user CP in xda to xda classic fixed the problem for me. Strange issue for sure.

Gonna have to keep that in mind. Sites like Yahoo and CNN give me the same problems however. Only Opera work like it should, maybe something with flash?
Just flashed Prime v1.5 and it's working like it should.
Gonna flash a custom kernel to see what happen.
Ok, the problem returned, using kernel 13. I think its not quite as simple as a kernel issue.
I have had my Nexus 6P for 5 days, and it has decided to do something weird when I switch apps. The phone is still stock, no adblockers installed and I've tried restarting and clearing the cache through stock recovery. The shrinking animation of the currently opened app stutters and the right half of the shrinking window/card goes pixelated. The same happens during the embiggening animation after selecting an app to switch to. I made a video of the issue here. When I tried to make a better video with a screen recording app, the problem went away. As soon as I stop the screen recording app, the problem comes back. My brother also has the 6P, and he says he's never seen his do this. Has anyone else seen this?

That's amazing and wierd to be honest
Try factory reseting it
Maybe its just due to one app
See if it happens at every app?
Cheers

Thanks, I think I will try a factory reset on Sunday when I have time to re-setup my phone. Another interesting tidbit is that when I enable the option "Disable HW Overlays" in developer options, the problem goes away. I'm guessing this might be related to why the problem also goes away when trying to use a screen recording app. Some app somewhere is not overlaying correctly I guess...

*This has been asked in the S8+ forum, but since I am using the S8, I would like to relay the message here,
Guys, I have noticed that, about 2 days ago, the Facebook app began to create a weird issue when I click the back button to close the app. Someone already made a video clip as seen below to illustrate the issue. Does anyone have the same issue and found a way to fix it? This hiccup really annoys me

Thanks guys

I really don't know what causes this issue. Maybe Facebook app is the one to blame since I am using Nova launcher and the other guys use stock launcher.

I am also using the stock launcher. Probably is the facebook app as you said. Tested almost all my apps but it's the only one with the problem.
I'm 99% sure there's something wrong with their adaptation to full screen mode and it forces a redraw once you exit. It's been annoying the heck out of me.
I think I found a work-around solution for this issue temporarily. This is how I did:
1. Changed your default launcher to stock Samsung.
2. Restarted the device.
3. Changed the launcher to Nova.
4. Changed the Facebook icon to something else.
5. Clicked on Facebook app, used the back button .... and the wallpaper didn't jump!
I updated to the new OTA today, and the problem came back. However, when I went through the same steps, the issue stopped. Give it a try, guys!
I have the S8 and noticed this too, but I never took note of which app caused it. Now I know it's Facebook
I am unique.butt From Softlinks.
The Solution is so simple click and hold on Facebook App icone Then go into app info and scroll down and find the option (Appear On Top) disable this option now your Facebook app will close with back key if you fave similar problem with ither android app you can do this with those apps as well i hope you will like this solution thanks.
