This started yesterday. I cannot send nor receive any text messages. I have tried shutdown, pulled battery, pulled sim card, and switch to airplane mode & back...
any suggestions?
TIA
My friend's SGS3 didn't send or receive texts after he got it. Call AT&T and make sure everything's set up right. He said it happened with his phone before that, too.
You may not have the proper LTE data plan active on the line. Just give AT&T a call.

This happened to me too....the BB employee didnt set me up on LTE data plan, just swapped over my 3g plan. Now that we got that all squared away everything is fine but I cant receive MMS messgs. They said theres a problem with the network and opened a case, which should be resolved by the 5th.

Why is it that MMS can only be sent and received on my phone ONLY when 3G is on?
I remember on my older phones, it would use the Cell Towers to download the information.
Everytime i try sending a MMS message, it only goes through when 3G is enabled. odd.
MMS is data.

Are there any ROMs with WiFi calling built into them

stupid T Mobile, fix your crap.
well actually there is, its in the dialer settings, but not for the tmobile wifi calling thing though.
But didnt facebook expand voice calls with the messenger app to the US?
Inb4lock. And http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012468
I have a 9505G Galaxy S4 GPE and just noticed that I am not able to receive or send MMS messages if I am connected to wifi. If I toggle off the wifi it immediately sends and receives all MMS messages.
I am running stock 4.3 and have tried both stock messaging app and textra.
I am on AT&T Network and compared my APN settings to one of my other android phones and they are the same.
Any ideas?
mike
Anyone else see this behavior?

Is anyone else having issues with MMS not sending over wifi? On my S9+ whenever I'm on wifi and have wifi calling enabled, my calls, text and mms all send when on wifi even if I have no signal. The OP6T doesnt seem to be sending the mms. Any ideas?
I personally haven't had them not send, but when I was on wifi only (airplane mode with WiFi on), it took a minute to send.

Seems to be working okay for me, i also have wifi calling enabled and don't seems to be having any MMS issues,I have the stock messenger disabled and I am using the google messages app for messaging if that matters or not I don't know.maybe try going into apps and notifications and select see all apps then check under the three dots to show system and clear cache and storage under MmsService and see if that helps.
Sending WiFi through mms on T-Mobile is always iffy unless you're using an old S7 which has RCS support. Or you're sending to another T-Mobile user using the old RCS support.
It might work with your S9+ but it's not always consistent and in the background it will use the mobile data over WiFi, despite your WiFi calling settings.
It's not a phone issue, it's a carrier issue.
My solution was to get a cellspot from T-Mobile. They're free ($25 deposit that turns into bill credits after one month).
I just tried it sending messages to my wife's phone. I'm on T-Mobile USA.
Airplane mode on, wifi on, SMS sends fine. MMS sends fine.
Don't know what to tell you. International version of phone too (aka not the TMO variant).

Ironically, it's the opposite for me. I HAD this problem on my Notes, but I don't have any MMS problems on my 6t. I agree that it's just a TMobile issue.
Works for me on the 6t
Thanks for the posts guys I figured out that it's random for me, which lines up with it being TMobile like you all suggested.
What fixed it for me is turning on airplane mode and then just WiFi. This works 100% of the tests for me, vs just turning on WiFi and waiting to make sure WiFi calling had kicked in. Stock one plus messenger app btw
