i have a problem with my htc Trinity.
I installed a fine ROM of Windows Mobile 6.5 a few month ago.
I was a bloody nooby, but somehow it works till now.
Now my PDA just gives me a blackscreen when starting it. The backlight of the LCD is on ...but nothing more.
I tried to do a hard reset and the display shows "Press SEND to restore factory default, press END to quit" ... so gerneraly the display should be fine...
But when i try to start the bootloader with camera and power button nothing happen
I cant connect via USB... widows doesnt find any devices.
Pleade help me.. i used the search but didnt find anything helpfull

I upgraded my uni with ranju rom 2months ago and worked perfect.Yesterday after a call the uni froze when i restarted, the uni black out. have tried both hard and soft reset. Nothing happens in soft reset, but hard gives U " Press 0 to restore to factory default and X to exit". but if i press 0, the uni goes off again.,
Battery? Can you enter a bootloader and re-flash the ROM?
I can't get pass "Press 0 to restore to factory default -Press X to exit" screen
i also have same problem with you. and i have connect my device to PC usb cable, then PC detect my universal but cant recognize it as pocket pc.
please anyone help us.....

hi all, and thanks in advance for reading this thread.
my cousin gave me his qtek 9000 saying that it was dead. being a dumbass, me decided to try and give it back life. as mentioned before, me a dumbass. After seaching the web for hours, i would normally be now saying, i give up. but no.
so , please. help.
the only thing i can tell u is that when i plug it in the pc, a red light starts bleeping. Won't turn on, soft and hard reset do not seem to make any effect, nor the power+light button.
again, please, help.
Had exactly the same...my qtek 9000 was just lying in the closet for a long time and would not boot anymore...
When I used it last time al was fine. I figured a dead battery so bought a new one...
It would give me the red LED while charging, would not be recognised on the computer etc.
Did a hard reset and then got it into the bootloader...
Had to run my laptop on XP as under Win7 it would fail to flash or do anything, but under XP it flashed properly.
After flash installed my back-up and all seems to be running fine now!
May be it helps anybody...
I Have an orange branded touch dual, its unmodified in any way, i installed the spb mobile shell version 2.1 to the fone memory, i was playin arround with the tabs on the home screen trying to put my orange options in one of the tabs, i was given a warning that it wasnt compatible wiv this software but i acciently selected ok!!
now when i boot my fone up it boots to the home screen n then freezes the screen or the buttons wont work so im unable to navigate to the hard reset option, i tried to connect to active synk to flash a new rom but it connect 4 a second then disconnects
does anyone have any ideas how i can solve this problem or is my fone bricked? your help would me much apreciated

Hey guys ! I just have a big problem ... i have so many Hard-reseted my device that the Volume Down Button don't work anymore ...
I Flashed Blackstonehenge 4.4 (like always ^^), It worked fine, like always but this time 1 week after my htc is stuck at the boot screen i can't even get a way to boot it, i can't make a hard reset or even enter in Bootloader mode -_-

Have you tried to dismantle the back-case? If you actually damaged the button inside the phone, I guess the only way is change the damaged part...

Thats a problem with the display driver, many people here in XDA have the same problem, aparently the solution is to flash the correct Rom image, but as I know no body has the solution... Good luck with that.
But, anyway, you can use My Mobiler to see your screen in your PC

NOW THE PROBLEM IS...
1. MY DEVICE BUTTONS(HARD KEYS) NOT WORKING BUT I CAN MAKE THE DEVICE IN BOOTLOADER (TRICOLOR) MODE BY PRESSING CAMERA + POWER BUTTON.
2. AFTER INSTALLING A ROM WHENEVER MY DEVICE STARTS IT SHOWS THE HARD RESET SCREEN (BLACK SCREEN........... ALL THE DATA ...BLAH BLAB......)
I HAVE TO REMOVE THE BATTERY AND START THE DEVICE AFTER 30 MINS.) PLEASE NEED THE SOLUTION ......

hi
if u can get ur tricolor screen then try this
connect the usb cable to pc and see if u get the USB words on the phone tricolor screen if so good try flashing any official ROM the same happened to my phone long back did the above got my phone back asuming u have done HSPL for ur phone if u have not done that then the only way is to take it to service

Wrong forum.. Touch P3450 is not a touch 3g , its the original touch (ELF version)
but i will try and help as i have owned both.
if your hardware buttons are not working it could be possible that your send and end keys are stuck down as this key combo brings up the hard reset you are talking about.
think you are going to have to open it as it sounds like a hardware fault, and if you cannot get into bootloader you cannot flash
if it was working alright before this is not the case, but either way you will have to fix your camera button and get into bootloader
