Black Out? Qtek S100

Hi,
Il from Belgium. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH
I have a Qtek S100
R 1.01.00
G 133.38
D 1.03.02 FRE ( French i think )
I tryd to change my Extended Rom from French to Dutch or English... with some file i dont know... im new it this stuff and i F**kt it up!!!
My Qtek just goene black and on the screen u can see USB 1.0.0
After open the baterycover and plug in back the qtek starts BUT after starting install the original app. it goes back to thr BLACK screen and nothing happens.
If I plug in the USB and connect it with my pc, it comes on the screen USB 1.0.0 ....
SO PLA HELP ME PLS!!!
I tryd hard / soft reset, NOTHING!
I look at XDA alredy 4 days everyday 4-6 hours I tryd SO MUCH, I take a day off work, so to can fix it!
IM GOIN CRAZY PEOPLE!!! PLS PLS HELP ME!

Best thing to do is go to bootloader mode and installing a new flash.
Bootloader mode can be found on the forum, but to help you out:
press simultaniously: camera button + power + soft reset (last one with the stylus)
Then start the rom update on your pc (do not use this from vista it wont work (or you have to find the fix online..)
Easiest way is to flash from windows xp works like a charm.

I have the same problem than rocky_gent but I can get the bootloader mode
i'm stack in bootloader mode ! And when i connect the usb cable doesn't display the "USB" but insists with "Serial V1.00".
I want to upgrade my rom from a secure digital (sd) cause i don't have another choice!
I 've been surfing through forums but i only found how to make an sd to upgrade your phone when you have an mda or xda (.nb1 files) . Qtek's roms have .nbf files !!! So i'm looking instructions to make an upgrade sd card with .nbf files (Qtek , Htc Magician) and not .nb1 (Xda)!!

Htc p3400 hanged at start up page onyl

Dear Please help my PDA HTC p3400 has hanged at started up only at front screen only it is not moving further. i had done hard restet also then also not working. Please help me out .

i had done hard reset also

Try to bootup without the SD card (and may be SIM), I had this problem with my Vox, the SD Card was corrupted. After formatting the SD Card, everythig became normal.

i have the same problemwith my P3400
i have made the upgrade to wm5 to wm6.1
the pda at the first time has booted and i have configured the regional time and the pen alignment until the the screen that says Setup complete, click to proceed (or something like this).
After this, it gets stuck on the windows mobile 6.1 boot screen
i have made the re-update with the same rom update.
the problem persists!
I have made with/without sd card and sim.
Now when it boots apears
ONBL 1.07.0000
SPL 1010.olip
GSM 02.84.90
OS 1.17.0.0
then changes for the wm6.1 boot screen
and stucks here

i found another rom update! (coooollll!!!!)

i have the same proplem you had can you tell me how you done it with new rom espiecly i cant flash room and i cant do anything

hi
assuming ur phone is just dead ie just blank screen do this
1.power off the phone remove batter and press the power button 3 secs
2.put batter back in to the phone
3.Press camera button and then power on at the same time u will get tricolor
used usb and Flash new ROM
or press camera button and do soft reset using stylus this will also give u the tricolor use USB and flash new ROM

Everything was running fine till I soft reseted the device. On soft reset it stucks at the start up screen
On boot it shows following

Then it shows the windows animations and then it hangs.
This has happned to me twice.

I had tried that also but not able to recover I had to burn the ROM again .
I am scared now to soft reset my gene. Never know when it will get hanged again. (pls note that it does not hang on every soft reset).
I liked the new ROM (6.1 pro Sumeet) so much. It is fast and have left enough room to add/execute other applications. I have read so many good comments about the ROM. I do not want to change it to any other version.
Please.. please try to get some solution.

[Q]HTC elf : Cannot Hard Reset/Read info.

I have a HTC ELF 0100 i want to change the language to english but i cant make anything. I try to hard reset the phone but this also is impossible. there is Windows mobile 6.1 installed in it.
Things you might need to know:
I HOLD the green and red Button and click on reset - for hard reset but nothing happens
To update an english rom i need to CID unlock. but this also fails saying ERROR 260.
And when try to upload a COOK rom it says ERROR 260 and the HTC screen become black i.e standy mode. it does not goes to the BOOTLOADER mode!
Where is the PROBLEM please help urgent !!

im sorry to tell u, but probably u dont have and elf. its a clone.
search the forum for clone info.

But i can assure you it an original one. Not clone or china made. But one things is that the battery is not an original one.
But i can assure you that the mobile is original. Not a China made.

Hi man thx for the REPLY but this also i tried !! it does not shows anything !! Only giving Data UNKONw or something like that!
I was able to install ENABLERAPI.cab to make the above PROGRAM work.
i want to know why the ElF is not able to HARD RESET.... I HOLD the TWO BUTTONS [red&green] and PRESS RESET but it never enter the HARD reset..
Very Strange and time comsuming for me i need a REAL solution !!

Big chance your phone is a fake.. I'm sorry man..
Perhaps if you posted some pictures of your device (also the backside without the cover, and one without the battery) some might be able to help you figure out what's going on.

All what you mentioned : No hard reset, No bootloader, No Data with mtty mean one thing this is a chinese clone of ELF and you will find no solution here

Skin Is Not Loaded :(

hi my friends.
I changed my jasjar's tomal 6.1 rom to Original WM5 for sell my phone
but after changing rom, i have a terrible problem.
when i closed the battery for change the simcard and turn it on. when the windows logo appears a blue screen showed and the gsm led begin to work (blinker).
after several soft resets the windows starts and ready to work but when i press the power button to standby the device (sometimes) for turn on the device (after standby) the screen didn't appear.!!
i'm very upset
after that i flashing the radio to newer version (1.18) and flash back to WM6.1 TOmal , WM6 , ... but i still have this problem.
in the tomal's wm6.1 rom (TML_v82_WM61_19960) before the problem shown an error appears under the windows logo > The Skin Is Not Loaded < and after that a black or blue screen appears and nothing...
please help me to fix it.

Only thing I can think of is to doc-format (mtty). And then flash ROM again. Then make sure you Hard Reset.

It's not harmful - basically it totally wipes the device removing everything (including garbage). So you will, of course, need to flash a ROM afterwards.

P3600 blackscreen

Hey,
i have a problem with my htc Trinity.
I installed a fine ROM of Windows Mobile 6.5 a few month ago.
I was a bloody nooby, but somehow it works till now.
Now my PDA just gives me a blackscreen when starting it. The backlight of the LCD is on ...but nothing more.
I tried to do a hard reset and the display shows "Press SEND to restore factory default, press END to quit" ... so gerneraly the display should be fine...
But when i try to start the bootloader with camera and power button nothing happen
I cant connect via USB... widows doesnt find any devices.
Pleade help me.. i used the search but didnt find anything helpfull
