hey I was just looking around xda when I stumbled on this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=699497.
I think it looks like an awesome theme and I was wondering if someone could port it to the droid 2 and/or the fission rom series.
I really like the slightly minimalist look of the theme and I think it would be great for our phone.
I hope this all works out.
Thanks,
Ljbaumer!
This is something that draya and i are working on. I am running into a few issues but will see what i can do to continue this.
oh wow, this looks exceptional. I would love to see this on my recently rooted Droid 2. Thank you in advance to anyone who contributes to this feat in theming.

This is a cool way to rotate your screen

it has been discussed on the forum before, but no one actually ported it or even posted a cab.....
Any idea how to get this on our TP2..... this would be really great...
*BUMP*....
that looks pretty cool I'd also like to see soething like this for our Rhodium if possible?
Cool! I want to see that also!
Pretty Cool. I was worried because the first two animation were very slow. The following ones looked good.
Anyone know of a .cab for this?
This is a cool effect wouldn't mind getting that for my TP2.
can anyone provide the .cab?
nice
that's pretty cool i would like to have it on my tp2 as well.
Same here. Same here.
Would love to try that out on my TP2.
I definitely would like something like that on my Tilt 2!
i need this like a junky needs a fixs
Know this is purly a cosmetic thing, but I would like this too. a lot better than the boring plain switch. Would love it on my TP2, as well.
Yea I'd have to agree 1000% that this is definitely bad ass!! It makes for real nice eye candy and cool transitions to say the least!! I wonder if this is actually something that can be ported over or made into a cab to be installed to our touch pro 2's?? It's funny to see this thread b/c I've always wondered about this since seeing it on the Omnia way back when it was released so im really surprised the port of that software hasn't made it over to XDA!!?!?! Perhaps it can't??? Let's hope I'm wrong and this comes to fruition
bump bump bump it up!
Bump Bump.......
yeaaaaaaaaaa lol lets get this ported baby, I wish I knew how or even had the phone to lend a hand with this!! I mean ive seen more complicated things ported to our phones like manila aka tf3d which had to be one of the hardest things and also the xperia panels to name a few!

I think there isn't version for TP2
I just switched from a HTC Incredible, rooted, w/skyraider 3.0 loaded, to the Droid X. I have to say, I loved the HTC phones, had a droid before it that I didn't like to much, BUT, this X is amazing. The screen, for not being an LED, is amazing. It looks way better than the INC. Looks like some of the things on the screen actually jump out at you, like 3D or something... It seems to react faster to everything also. Anyone else been this happy with switching??? Oh and It is rooted and loaded with froyo 2.2, so has flash and all the free rooted apps, like wifi tether!
welcome to the dx side... yeah its amazing but dont get me wrong the dinc is pretty cool too with senses, just image if senses ul was on the dx instead of blur, holy! that would be one bad machine there, truely the king of android/droid devices of its time.
can you check the loaded version of the flash player you have for me? i need the full version numbers. thanks
also there's an updated version of your flashplayer, its found in the themes and apps section of this forum by me, but here it is >>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=763584 <<<
The flash player on mine says version 10.1.72.10... I did really like the Dinc, BUT I don't see the major difference in sense and blur. What are the main differences???
yeah i guess i needed that update... thanks!
thanks for the info.
sense ui is so much cleaner and well put together. i cant really explaining the differences, but there is a huge difference in the two ui's and im sure someone else can explain it...

Well let me explain each:
HTC SENSE: Basically you have a dock which ONLY has soft-buttons for Phone, the app drawer, and I forget what the plus sign does.... Possibly to add home screen widgets I think....
Motorola BLUR: Motos dock contains a phone soft-button, as well as contacts and app drawer... The only other thing that blur does is chance the dock when swiping to represent what home screen you are on....
EVERYTHING ELSE IS JUST WIDGETS SUCKING UP RESOURCES.
And my last statement is exactly why folks want Vanilla Froyo.. nothing BUT the Android OS. No moto Widgets, No sense..... Just Froyo.. and I will use Launcher Pro always of course!
Hope this helped some of you guys...
i was a dinc to x convert. gave the wife the dinc. loved the dinc. i'm a modder by nature and the dinc has tons of custom roms and other hacks you can do to it which made for consistant enjoyment. i can't wait until some more developments are made with the x so we can do the same kind of stuff to it.
that said, the screen on the x (giant goodness) is really the biggest difference i see. the speed on both is about the same.
the one thing i noticed is that i seem to get better 3g with the x than the dinc (same location) and the dinc gets better wifi than the x. must have something to do with antenna difference i guess.
Hey guys. I was wondering, after 2.2 drops, I know CM will be coming as Koush said he would be working on it, but will anyone be working on porting MIUI over to the Fascinate? It looks really impressive and I've contemplated buying an Incredible just to try it out. Is there anyone out there with the skills to do it that will port MIUI to if after 2.2 drops?
I asked this question awhile back and if I remember correctly there's a few people willing to port as soon as it's possible. I'm as anxious as you. I installed it on my brothers Droid and it is PHENOMENAL.
Nice to have options i guess but miui is nothen special i used it for awhile on my droid but launcher pro plus is just better. Specially on something liek the fascinate that allready has bouncing menus and controls in the pull down. And messenger in lockscreen.
But on a diffrent note that is great news about cyanogen coming to the fascinate =)
i switched back to my Inc until 2.2 drops. I missed so many things about MIUI (speed, ease, stablility, overall experience) that i had to go back. I love the form factor of the Fascinate but until 2.2 drops is it kinda just a really sexy paper weight. BTW if no one has tried PowerAMP as a music app, i highly recommend it. Best sound audio player. It is isn't on the market, but search the android app forums for it.
Echo the comment on PowerAmp. Seems to be excellent so far, gotta love the eq, and can't wait to watch it develop from this early beta.

Hey guys,
I was looking for a new ROM for my Note 3 after having using CM11 for the past few months and after seeing the HTC One I wanted to give it a try. Well at least the firmware.
Is there any sort of port or proper theme which works for the Note 3?
Using Apex etc usually leaves you with a bunch of annoying bugs and drains your battery so does anyone know a better solution?
Thanks!
P.s If you want to suggest a similar looking Rom or another Rom that looks good feel free to post it.

There's no such port in the making/released as of yet. You could try a CM11 theme, but launcher themes shouldn't slow your phone down.

Hmm fair enough.
What theme would you suggest? As of now I havent really found any good ones. I found the odd sloppy one but I wasnt too impressed.
Hey guys, just wanted to start a little thread here to see what everyone thought of the new 5.0-5.0.1 Lollipop update. What are your likes/dislikes about 5.0? What would you like to see in the future of the custom ROMs? Who's curious about Sense 7(if it's even in the works yet)?
As for me, I love Lollipop, I love the user interface, styling and the whole new look and feel. IMO , it's about time stock android got an overhaul. We've had the same look and feel since what? Gingerbread? I love also the way they redid quick settings in the drop down. That's awesome. I've played around on a couple of the GPE ROMs in the forums now, such as candy, digital high, and maybe a couple others. I haven't seen much customization yet, the most I've seen is on candy ROM. But I know it's coming. What I'm looking forward to the most, is inversion. When I'm laying in bed at night with all the lights off playing on my phone, the white background kills my eyes. Also CM12 themes. Can't wait! As for sense 7,after googling, I found what it may look like, and if I'm right, it looks pretty awesome. I've always been a sense fan, as my first smart phone was the HTC droid incredible 2.
Well that's my $0.02 worth, chime in guys!
BTW, my apologies in advance if there's already a thread like this one. As I didn't read through first. Lol
Thread closed. There is a thread already for Android L.. Please use existing threads before creating new ones.
