Tattoo speaker not that loud!!!!?? What are the possible solutions? - Click General

one of the main disadvantages with the tattoo is the speaker not being loud enough.
whats the best possible solution to increase the volume on the tattoo?
I tried the louder volume Hack, n its not that good or is there any song/tone that makes the tattoo sound loud?
Please post what song/tone you are currently using as your ringtone/message tone.

im using miniCM - RC1 and everything works perfect for me, so i'm satisfied
none of these roms are fully stable, if we are lucky the new libaudio will fix the most of the bugs. I usually use skype, and it doesnt work on any of these roms, so i wait for the fix.

No way libaudio will fix reboot issues. They are totally unrelated. A custom kernel will though

sorry then. i read it in racht's thread, but it looks like libaudio is just causes skype crashes.
i think 2.2 ROM based is the most stable for daily use. i've installed the latest ROM for 2.3.3 and i restore back my 2.1 because lots of bug. too many reboots. the most stable ROM for me is :
Floyo 0.15
MiniCM for X8
thanks for replying guys , I have installed Floyo-0.15 and it was perfect but I found that it doesn't support Arabic keyboard ,
anyone have a solution for this problem before trying MiniCM or restoring to the 2.1 stock ROM ????
floyo n minicm are the best so far.
right now I'm on floyo with mod on system/app.
usually I try cm7 2.3 racht n jerpelea Saturday to Monday.

Here is what i got to say for all these questions :
Stick to Stock JPM if your lazy to flash Indroid,Lestatious,Kyrillos, etc. and decide it for your self..
If you want a very stable awesome custom rom..
Then you must download all available custom roms from development section take some time and try out each of them at least for 3 hrs..
If your happy with some custom roms performance then stick to it
ANd that would be your best stable,etc.. Custom ROM
-Peace-
well.. m happy that somebody else started this thread...
i recently flashed kyrillos rom as according to most of the members it is the best rom available.....
IMO.. it is a very good rom.. bt i found it lil bit laggy(it runs out of ram if u use ur phone continously for 15 minutes)....
i was on official froyo (indian version), and i was very disappointed with audio quality of stcok froyo.
kyrillos rom has awesome sound quality...
nw i want to switch back to best STOCK rom which has sound quality equivalent to kyrillos.
plzz suggest me the most stable STOCK rom.(audio quality is top priority)

The excellent audio which you admire is all thanks to Fugu Kernel Beta 3 which has voodoo sound.
to have the same experience in stock rom do this
FLASH XXJPM(Stock from samfirmware)
Then flash FuguMod v4.3 Beta 3 from fugu thread
Install the voodoo app
Enjoy music n stock rom
thanx buddy....
there are several things that i want to know
1>>whther XXJPM has that audio issue as in indian froyo(i.e. while listening to music, if we lock or unlock screen, sound is disturbed)...??
2>>where can i find the XXjpm without the files responsible for hardbricking(boot.bin and one more file i guess)..?
3>>can i flash xxjpm over kyrillos 5.7 directly......????
4>>mine is i5801.. its fine naa
5>>do i need to check "protect OPS" in odin(coz i m flashing second time.. and the guide is confusing me as it says dnt check it if u r flashing i5800 f/w on i5801 for the first time)
ya i know that i ask too much questions... [:-D]

Hey. If you want Stock roms without the bootloader then you can download it from hereor here. No bootoader so no hardbricking possible.
And you can flash fugumod 2.4 over stock.
EDIT : - If you have already downloaded JP2, just remove boot.bin and sbl.bin from the tar using Winrar. Or total commander or any other util.

[Q] Bad sound quality on Zte Blade

Hello guys, i have some troubles with my Blade. Since i flashed my Zte with CyanogenMod 7.2.0- RC0 KANG version i have problem with bad sound that coming from the speaker. There was integrated DSPManager, but i've removed it , because i taught that the problem coming from it. I've installed Volume+ but the sound has no change .. I really don't want to change this ROM, because it's more than perfect, except the bad sound. ( I'm pretty sure that the speaker is not broken, because feel the deference after the Rom changing.) Is there any way to fix it? It's really annoying ..
You could use a proper CM7 build instead of a KANG. Nightly 257 doesn't have that issue.

But it's the same rom, just a proper build of it without this bug that only happens in whoever's kang build of cm7 that you're using.
It's also the only way that you're likely to fix it.
on CM 7.1.0 stable for about amonth, exactly same situation with yours, the sound is poor both the speaker and headphones. has tried methods to make it work properly but failed. now i'm considering change the ROM.

[Q] Best choice for custom ROM

Hi friends.
First, I want to praise this forum ... that is fantastic!
My question is about the currently ROMs for my milestone 2...
I want to flash my ML2 with another ROM, to get a better experience with the battery life...
What ROM is the better choice?
- Argen2Stone 2.7
- CM7
- TIM Retail 2.3.6
- MIUI 2
- Others.... ?
Thanks again guys!
I test all these roms, personally I prefer CM7 of Tezet + the update of Endless7
Lose the video recording at 720p, but it works great.!!
It depend on your version of MS2. I have problems with gps in cyanogen's rom, so i'am using ms2ginger 2.1. It's perfect, everything's working, but it have shorter battery life. My friend have older revision of MS2, he had serious problems with keyboard and multitouch, but Endless7 cm7 runs perfectly on his phone.

+1 for that rom .
It's pity, there's no Endless7's update for latest Tezet's CM7
Guys, I tried flash my phone with CM7 times ago....
I first flash the SO with "update-cm-7.1.0-DROID2WE-signed.zip"
After this I apply "gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip"
All using Bootmenu.
But, the phone doesn't boot... the screen stay black and nothing happends....
After this, I recovery to 2.2 TIM RETAIL...
Can you post a link with a better tutorial for me?
Thanks!

May sound stupid, but allthough the milestone 2 and droid to appear to be the same phone, they are not the same phone.
Main difference is one is cdma (no sim - droid 2) and other is gsm (has a simcard - milestone2)
No method will ever get a droid 2 rom working on your milestone 2.
EDIT:
(moved to start of rant) If you have upgraded to the official gingerbread you can only use CM9, CM7(endless7), argen2stone. Just the ones with the GB kernel.
But as for other roms all roms, the choices are:
CM9: Not finished but quite stable now and a great look into ICS certainly work having a try of it. Uses GB kernel so no multitouch bug.
CM7 (tezet version): Stable, good, fast, has multitouch bug due to froyo kernel
CM7 (endless7 version/defy port): Not much difference from tezet version, but some added bells and whistles. Also uses the CH gingerbread kernel, so no multitouch bug and better touch response. I'd recommend this version personally, but it's all a matter of opinion. Also both versions show all market apps regardless of compatibility - can be handy if you wanna take advantage of a great sale knowing you can just use it when it is patched for your device or you upgrade. Or if you can tweak some stuff enough to trick it into working.
MIUI: Simply wonderful. Most stable one i have used. At first i hated the iphone likeness of it - but you can install a custom launcher if you wish. I got used to it though and ended up loving it once I tuned it to how i liked it - 1 screen with several folders and a clock widget the themes are great. It also uses the froyo kernel, so unfortunately has the multitouch bug. So i had to leave it
Argen2Stone: Pretty close to stock so if you liked the stock firmware but not it's slowness you will probably like this. Simply wasn't for me but for the time i used it, it was quite stable. Uses the CH gingerbread kernel though, so no multi touch bug here too . OH and is one of the few that has 720p video recording working I think.
I can't really remember ms2ginger and i have never tried blurless, so I won't comment on them.
Moral of the story, you can count the amount of roms we have available on you hand so why not get them all, and try them 1 day at a time?
They are all great roms and far better than stock was, so you can't really go wrong. No one here can possibly tell you what you like so you will just have to test them yourself soon enough and find out

+1 me too great works of tezet and endless7
ive used Argen2Stone 2.7 ..its a really good rom.
now im using CM9 by tezet.
My vote goes for tezet's CM7, because I like more that clean CM7 than endless' mod.
i think CM7 of Tezet is the best.
I'm voting for MIUI - but I understand if someone don't like it due to it's quite bad touch responsiveness.
I want to shar my experience with you. I used all the rom you listed except "tim retail 2.3.6".
I'm now using A2S and UK 2.3.4 kernel. It has the perfect experience whatever daily use or game playing. But it has the shorter battery life(the same as cm7 or may be a little longer).
I often got reboot when i using cm7 especially when i entering games.
MIUI has the different style from other android roms. It also based on cm kernel, if you are boring with the original android UI ,you may try this rom. But this rom has the shortest battery life even less than CM7, and has the slow reflex when you have incall.
Sorry for my terrible English.
Sent from my A953 using XDA App
CM7 for me.. even if it doesn't have 720p recording it is battery friendly.. i like argen2stone but the only thing i dont like on this rom is blur UI.. they should have remove the UI because it eats too much ram >.<

[Q] Kernel for stock gingerbread?

Hello there, i'm new in the forum, so please say me if i do something wrong.
I bough my huawei u8800 yesterday and i've tested ICS Aurora, but i think it's not smooth like the gingerbread stock rom. So i've installed the OC kernel for gingerbread, but it has a little problem: low in call volume. I searched and there is no way to fix it.
So i'm here to ask you if there is a kernel for stock gingerbread that supports overclocking. Please feel free to suggest me any other rom.
If you don't go with aurora, I strongly suggest you go for EZET cyanogen 7.2 ROM (you'll have to revert to Stock Froyo first, or it won't work). All other .35 kernel based ROMs have bugs on top of bugs on top of instability...
EZET cm7 has very high volume in call, and you can even raise it more with x5settings app.
