Been watching the development of the epic well where is it? But the phone sure looks purty. Cmon get her done already. I am tired of my wife asking when can I make my epic look as cool as your evo.

I had an Evo, I couldn't get past the compromises HTC made on hardware and build quality, as well as laggy interface issues.
Now with the Epic, I don't have to make those compromises, everything's like butter and it feels solid, no screen separation issues here.
I have both, the Epic grows on me more and more everyday. And by the end of this week, it'll be my daily driver. Gonna activate it and use my Evo as an MP3 player.

To be honest... when I pick up my EVO now, it feels like an old piece of junk. And you can make it look however you want. Just load in another launcher.
Except for themes... but themes are lame
I personally cant wait to see how developement goes for the Epic. My EVO is flying at the moment thanks to the great developers on XDA. Hopefully beofre too long my Epic will be the same, if not better! We shall see

Shouldn't we have lots of development already done on this thing? I mean, it came out Tuesday folks. You expect me to sit on my butt idly waiting till next week or something? If I've gotta wait till October, I'm canning this thing and going back to my Palm III.

Haters lol, I own both of them read the post. I let my wife use the epic. All I asked is where is the development. And yes WOMEN like themes. And flowers. And romance but I guess that is gay 2. All I was stating is that the development for the evo was like bammm and still is. Whereas the epic is like blahhhh. Even the threads barely move. I'll go check over at sdx. The difference is night and day. Our screens really do pwn the Evo's.
Development is kinda' now because the Evo was barely released a few months ago then the Epic came out.
If the Evo had been released a few short months after the Nexus One was released, development for the Evo would be on par with development for the Epic at this time. Hypothetically speaking.

naww but really the epic has been out for 4 days now and we've made great strides so far. The hero took about 4 weeks to get root and another 2 weeks to get its first rom. We have good devs that re willing to sacrifice their phones to try to bring these things here. So its no problem for me to wait patiently!

I have access to a sticker machine and Im going to know around a few android sticker designs. I was wondering if anyone here would be interested before the stickers are made?
All different android styles, sizes from 1.75,3, 4, 6 and 10 inches. Prices will vary but shouldn't be more than 7-8 bucks MAX the smaller ones wont be near that, but possibly around 3-4 bucks. the more you buy the cheaper.
Again mainly checking on interest here. I have done deals in the past with 4-5 members and all went well. I have great 100% ebay feedback and I am paypal verified.
I would take payment thru paypal. If you're going to send it via paypal then add the 4% fee to the final cost. OR you can pay via paypal using their gift option ( it send money fee free! ) then do not add the 4%.

I dont know if Id pay above 5 bucks for a sticker though and i believe you should handle the 4%, not me. Build that into your price.
I understand though there may not be enough demand to make them in bulk and therefor harder to sell them for cheap.

I'm waiting first to see if the SGSII gets announced for Sprint.
tbh I'm not particularly impressed by this whole 3D screen/camera bandwagon - it's not a feature I'm interested in nor one that I know I'd be using much if at all...
3D aside - most of the reviews I've read side with GSII as being the better phone hardware wise (though both are still impressive ). They're both dual core and have 1gb ram. But for one, I'd rather have a Su AMOLED + screen after seeing the Epic's screen, plus the camera on it looks great. Although if either phone's battery life is much better than the other, that'd probably be the final deciding factor.
Only downside I see for the gs2 is that it comes with...touchwiz -_-... but since Samsung gave a phone to CM, hopefully that won't be a problem for too long.
Last and certainly not least, most of the xda members I know are going to 3vo so that's going to make the decision harder
Regardless of which one I end up choosing I'll probably end up deving for it, at the very least I'll be finally setting up my gerrit account to help with CM.

Motorola has a high end one too. Photon. They have a new relationship with sprint. Maybe an lg too. 3 definite high end ones for android + iphone + maybe a windows phone.

Some people spend time outside & some times its in rain ;-) sport Fishermen, Soldiers, Hunters just to name a few. Or how about NOT being super pissed cuz a girl or your brother put ur ass in the pool, or maybe your doing the pool dunking & want to jump in with your target.

If it means expanding WiMax coverage prior to conversion to LTE, I would welcome that news more than a new phone. Has a snowball's chance of happening though.

I'm still with speedy.
Don't upgrade till next August and I'll probably be renewing my contract with them tbh.
I'll probably end up buying the evo lte or new Motorola slider off contract come december.
My next upgrade is in Jan I think but I'm not in a hury to make a change. I still love my speedy.

Still with the Shift . Will be for quite a while, till I find something I like.
My upgrade is not until Nov. Hopefully, more phones come out then... Otherwise, in no hurry to upgrade.

Went to the Photon this week. I'm really enjoying it.
I guess the main thing for me was that I thought our ICS roms were falling just a tad short. As much as I like GB and I think roms like Supreme sense are f'in top notch, ICS addresses my functionality complaints i have about GB. As much as I appreciate Deck (pb21 was pretty awesome), Mega and the like for their work, trying to daily drive and be a power-user with the current ICS roms was rough at times, and I cant blame them for moving on to better phones to do development on instead of addressing every minor detail about shift roms. I saw the writing on the wall, I guess.
The MoPho is quite good, though pricey at 200 bucks. I will buy physical keyboard phones for as long as they keep making them. No sooner did i find out about the Photon, (which was just last week. shows you how little I come by the shift forums lately), I concluded it might be time to jump ship. Its too good a keyboarded phone to pass up since I had the upgrade offer. Otherwise, i would have waited it out.

I'm on Evo 3d, but my wife has a Shift. I frequent these forums to keep up with what's going on in the Shift world for her. Just installed Supreme Sense today for her, will see how she likes it. Her upgrade is in March, but I think she's gonna wait until summer to upgrade. Sprint always releases a new Evo around then.
