BUMP
anyone??
same here, after OTA update with wifi.
after reboot wifi is not working anymore...
ok, now it works.
for me the problem was that i debranded my device before(o2).
in this case you will need the coldcard also for the ota update!!!
i flashed back to1.32.405.3 let the coldcard in the dhd and get the ota again.
before the radio and kernel version was not updated and this cause the wifi problem.
i hope this will work for you too.

ok so last night i flashed the new eclair beta that king k released ... upon boot up i noticed that my touch screen wasn't responding ... so i rebooted the phone and still no effect ... i then booted up my nandroid back up and to my surprise the touch screen still wasn't working ... i let the phone sit for a few hours and after i was able to use the touchscreen ... but again after 3-5 minutes of use i lost touch response ... I've tried flashing 3 different roms ... 2 of which were working perfectly before i flashed eclair ... has anybody else been having this same issue ??? (cause if not ill have to call tmobile)
have you wiped the phone? i'd suggest you wipe the phone and install dwang/cyanogen.
if that doesn't work, unroot, and warranty.
yea i wipe everytime before a new install ... ill try using cyon to see how it works

Hi, about 5 days ago my wifi stopped working. I'd turned it off a few days earlier since I didn't need it. When I try to turn it back on now though, it takes a few seconds and then says error. I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
Since then I've reflashed my phone rom (leedroid), factoryreset it, and updated the radio. nothing so far has fixed it. Mobile data still works so I wouldn't think it was hardware, but a software error shouldn't have survived the wipe and the radio update.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I had similar issue when flashing another kernel on my stock ROM. Maybe your kernel isn't compatible with the radio or the kernel modules haven't been applied correctly. Hardware error should be presumed after flashing original RUU.
The thing is that I hadn't played with my phone since last year. the wifi just randomly stopped working. It was still on 1.22ghz kernel 1.0.2. It got reset to stock kernel when I factory wiped it.
I've gotta go travelling again for work tomorrow so I'll try flashing the original ruu back next weekend. Would it just be a case of restoring the original nandroid backup I did before I first h-booted/rommed it?

As far as I know, factory wipe deletes just the user data. I might be wrong though, because this is my first android, so I'm still learning the basics on rooting, kernels, etc. But from your first post it seemed that you updated your radio in that period, so this might be the clue to what happened. I don't know if the nandroid backup would restore everything to stock, but I'm pretty sure that the original RUU would. Still, you should follow a procedure that would allow you to keep your root (I think if you have radio S-OFF, you'd be able to flash 1.32 RUU and just root it). Anyway, you can't return the phone for warranty services with a custom ROM, so you still need to flash a stock RUU.
Sorry, I should clarify: I did the radio update yesterday to see if it could fix it. It wasn't the cause.
I updated to gingerbread xwjvh and no problems there. I installed the modem file for my signal no problem there.
So i decided to root for the first time using CF-Root-XW_XEE_JVB-v3.1-cwm3rfs
and now it's constantly rebooting non stop...please help very urgent
Did you do a factory reset and clear cache yet?
I think i fixed it...not sure if i did it right but all i did is put the phone back in download and used the recently released cf root for jvh....and it seemed to have calmed down...what i don't understand is what is the difference between the kernel and rom??
When I flashed JVB, I got a few FC's as I forgot to wipe data. Afterwards, no probs at all.
HI,
I'm a bit of a nood so please don't rip me a new one.
I live in Asia so i run a SM-G900H 4.4.2. G900HXXU1ANE2.
It was fine until i went to Thailand and it updated ( Don't think the place matters but still)
Now its running like a pig! Screen lock ups, hangs and just tits about.
I tried to update it but says its got the latest software etc.
If i do a factory reset will this role back the update?
If not:
I will just install a new ROM. I have already Rooted it so i'm good to go, Can anyone link me to a 900H Rom that's better than the stock one?
Thanks for the help.

1) Factory Reset might fix your problem, but it will reset your device to the factory state. It will NOT roll back the update. It deletes the /Data partition.
2) Sadly the g900H doesn't have any custom ROMs yet so you're stuck on stock.
3) option #1 will probably fix your problem, but will also delete all your data, so I would suggest before doing that trying to delete cache + dalvik via recovery (I'm guessing you're running TWRP / CWM).
Try factory resetting first.
If you are still unsatisfied with the performance with your device, i think KIES and ODIN can be used to flash an older firmware.

Damn I feel for you man, here I am annoyed at my 6 megabit/s connection
Hey guys,
My wifes Tab 4 recently did the OTA update to Lollipop (5.0.1) and has been having a problem ever since. After being in use for a few minutes after the update it suddenly locked up and rebooted itself. Thought nothing of it at first, but then it did it again, and now randomly reboots all the time, sometimes after only a minute of use. I've tried clearing the cache partition and factory reset, neither gave any improvement. Then i figured maybe the OTA download was the probblem so i flashed it back to Kitkat using Odin and all worked fine again for a few days. I turned off the OTA update checke and she was perfectly happy with it again.......
......until it downloaded the update all over again.
Before allowing it to update again i connected it to the PC and did the update via Kies instead. All seemed to be fine for about 5 minutes and then started rebooting. Again, cleared cache and factory reset. Again no improvement.
Then tried flashing the update via Odin again. Still no improvement.
I'm drawing a blank on this one. I've tried everything I can think of and still not been able to solve this one. The only thing i've been able to figure out so far is that for whatever reason it doesn'T randomly reboot if its connected to the PC via USB...............
Anyone got any ideas how to sort this?? Samsung have offered to take it in for repair and I'Ve been offered a refund from the retailer, but I'd rather avoid those options if possible.
Thanks!
I have the same problem and nobody Knows. I will back to kitkat. let me know if you fixed. sorry for my english im cuban.
