hahahah niced try , but the CM6 it would had to look like a 9 no like a 6!! it was funny though
But in all reality, I would love the standalone cm6 camera app. I've always found that pictures taken in cyanogenmod were miles and miles better than the htc camera and touch to focus is much quicker. I for one would very much appreciate the standalone app.

That's windows phone 7, aka WP7, not Windows 7...that's a desktop OS. The link mr8820 supplied is the closest thing you'll get to that, which is to run it via a remote desktop connection (I do it all the time, love it, works great).
Now, if you are asking about WP7 on the HD2...I know some devs were trying to see if they could get leaked development version of WP7 (since the final version isn't out in the wild yet) working on the HD2, including our own Da_G, but I don't think they ever got very far as there's some serious driver and other issues to overcome

I maintain that this was a hoax from somone pretending to have Gingerbread... Of course everybody shoots me down because they want that silly animation for some reason... Good luck finding it.

For those wanting the screen off animation:
Get the system dump from the Nexus S section.
Open it in WinRAR.
Go to system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/anim
Copy the 74 xmls somewhere on your Desktop.
Go to the same location on whatever ROM/Theme you're using and replace the files.
Flash it in recovery.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. But that didnt make any difference for me...
Pretty sure there on the boot.img and after flashed they are in /sys/power lol
I'm only able to see framework-res.apk in the system dump. Going to try and replace it and install on recovery. Made a backup of the other file, so we will see...
Couldn't find any XMLs because I can't open the APK as a folder in "view" on work laptop
just search for "xml transitions" the screen off is animation is in there just like gingerbread use metamorph, i have been using this on miui for weeks now..

My idea is easy: considered the constantly growing Instagram's community more and more people would like to get good quality IG stories as much as it happens on iOS (anyone that owned an iPhone and used IG can confirm that!), but due to some complications developers can't perfection the camera to communicate directly and properly whit IG camera which happens to become a screencast of the camera app which results in very bad quality photos & videos... (correct me if I'm wrong please)
Why don't put Instagram's camera features directly on the Google Camera and let's facilitate the sharing of them directly on IG stories!
For example let's add the Boomerang feature directly on GCamera, or for example when shooting videos let's inglobe as option the Instagram way of filming (which works by keeping on pressing the record button and you can zoom in & out by sliding on it) which gives us more that IG stories vibe u know
I don't know guys just ideas that I thought as a workaround for this big handicap that Android faces towards the biggest social right know which is Instagram!
