Downloaded video clip wont play on my WM5....

I recently downloaded a video clip from YouTube using a firefox program... I converted the .flv file it saves it as to a .WMA file... but the video wont play on my Cingular 8525 (TyTn). Does anyone know why it doesnt play?? i checked the properties of the video on my fone and it shoes the codec to be a msmpeg4v2. Is this the reason?

Just use Coreplayer..
wmp sucks..I only use it for playing .mp3's

Im assuming you paid for it?
Also what ROM are you running?? This issue has been addressed MANY times and sleuth has posted a fix on this issue.

The ROM is the software version that runs on the phone,you need to read some more information in the wiki and use the search feature of this forum before posting some more dude, sorry.

no if u see when the person is using dial caller id its windows mobile 5.0 magneto and the prograam is maybe a flash editor !!

I believe this video is made by someone of the P3D team. It was just a test if it would run and as i recall only the clock was working and not the rest. So i think touchflo 3d has to wait till the 3d drivers are finished.

Thanks at least some one see's what happened that is a huge thread and i found nothing mentioning touchflo3d from a quick scout

I'll be totally honest with the Diamond/Polaris thing...
I did want a Diamond way back, but because it was NOT available here in Honduras, i HAD to buy the Polaris...
At first i saw it,,, sluggish with no drivers, crap 3d, etc...
so i said,, "sigh *birds chirping in the background* one day i'll buy me a diamond...", then i remembered this page from when i was doing my HTC research on wether to buy one or not... so i came back ,and... well..

and like i said in the 3D drivers thread:
DIAMOND AINT GOT NOTHIN' ON POLARIS.
'nuff said. (oh, by the way yes, thats a little period right...a bit more to the right...quite...there ^ )

the video dont show a full working manila 3d, relax guys. If it was fully working, dont you think the video would show us a bit more?

Me too, exactly: I had a Polaris, sold it, bought a Diamond, sold it, re-bought a Polaris.
Reason: Polaris is a PDA, Diamond a nice phone, nothing else

Also batista had a polaris, then a diamond and then a polaris again.

I agree with you totaly,Diamond is too small for my hands,i bought it and i give it to my wife...

he said that he wasn't prepared to release it just yet when I assumed he was, but he released it anyway.. so, maybe you guys should watch him improve it a bit before you plan this.. no need to have three virtual shotguns right? since there already is one apart from g-shotgun...

Not sure why you need a new device to set a microsoft windows application from one supported device to another. The biggest change is the screen resolution wich is 640*480 for the diamond

dunno why but after choice a gun i cant do anything ... gsensor didnt work
and i can tap only 2 buttons ( close and treat off )

No, that's not the biggest difference... The g-sensor hardware is different! That's the difference.

Finaly Windows Phone 7 ported on HTC HD2 [ Video ]!!!

We always knew this day would come, some guys at xda.cn has managed to get WP7 up and running on a HTC HD2. The HD2 which was the only capacitive screen Windows Mobile device was expected to get an unofficial port of WP7. This does not look like the release build of Windows Phone 7 ( Xbox Live tile has a green background in the release build of WP7 ) . In the video you can see that the OS runs quite smoothly on the HD2, and they shows the various hubs like picture and games. The hardware keys have been mapped to mimic the Home and Back buttons, Search was not shown in the video, doesn’t necessarily mean its not there. They also demo the multi-touch pinch to zoom in the picture hub.
It looks nice and all and is a nice hacking feat but do you honestly want to run WP7 on the HD2 or get one of the new WP7 device ?

Its because Windows phone 7 needs a licence. You cannot access a few bits (one of them is marketplace ) without activating the OS

I think that may be correct. The ROM's must be big on those devices as they are meant to have more than 512 NAND storage. Hopefully they implement what HTC did in some and use the microSD as extra storage on them

i don't know, but energy's new extreme ROM has the same problem. Might have to do with the size of the port. My ROM is 400mb and that confuses the phone and it said on boot I only was using 56mb of storage.
