That boot logo, or boot screen is in a restricted partition. Even with root access it's hard to change. it basically takes pushing a copy of the partition without the image on to the phone then writing a script to push a new image in the hole created. It all has to be done through adb
not working on P500 T___T
Does this work in void. echo? I'm afraid to mess up

hey the phone needs to be rooted???
you dont need the App you can change it bye downloading the zip file for the new boot animation putting it on your SD card then using rootexplorer to back up the stock animation in /data/local/bootanimation.zip after you back up the stock animation just place the new one in the same folder /data/local/ and rename the file to bootanimation.zip then restart. Here is a few animations to start with

Help! I cant get my ATT galaxy tab to boot.

Ok so long story short I tried to flash the Modaco kernel for ext4 file conversion plus clockwork recovery to my ATT tab via Odin v1.7. The flash finished but my tab wouldnt boot properly so Im fairly sure it never started the file system conversion. It just came up with the att splash screen and then a black screen with a white line down the right side but thats it it wont boot any further. Since then Ive tried to flash Rotohammers Jme plus another stock ATT galaxy tab odin file I found but I keep getting the same Att splash then black screen with white line down the right side. No matter what it wont boot any further.
Ive tried to boot into recovery using the volume down and power keys but all I get is the same black screen with a white line down the right side.
Please can anyone help me. Ive run out of ideas. Thanks in advance.
Find the jj4 bootloader, flash it. Then flash the modaco kernel to convert ext4 again. This time u should see clockwork options
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
Thanks so much..Ill give this a try as soon as I get off work!
There's a thread called at&t black screen with thin white line fix that includes the link to the jj4 bootloader.

[Q] Someone please reply I need my phone for work :(

Ok so i've definetly messed something up. I put the CyanogenMod zip in my downloads folder on my Note 3. I went into safestrap, clicked install, found the .zip and swiped to flash. After that finished I clicked reboot and I got black screened. I then took the battery out and then the **** hit the fan. I booted the device and the SafeStrap splash screen came up along with the Android Bot and the screen was all fuzzy. I now have taken the battery out and am hoping I can save my device. Thanks a bunch.
