[Q] Someone please reply I need my phone for work :( - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so i've definetly messed something up. I put the CyanogenMod zip in my downloads folder on my Note 3. I went into safestrap, clicked install, found the .zip and swiped to flash. After that finished I clicked reboot and I got black screened. I then took the battery out and then the **** hit the fan. I booted the device and the SafeStrap splash screen came up along with the Android Bot and the screen was all fuzzy. I now have taken the battery out and am hoping I can save my device. Thanks a bunch.

[Q] mt3g US flashing rom questions

So I have been through a lot of the threads looking for the answers just to clarify before I attempt to do this again on my mt3g.
I have it rooted with Androot and it worked fine and I installed Rom Manager. Yesterday I did the backup rom command from rom mamanger and it backed up my rom to the sd card.
So today I went and selected download and picked cyanogen 6.0.0 and the google apps and then click on backup rom and wipe cache. Then the phone rebooted and it went to the black screen triangle with the exclamation point and nothing happened. I let it sit for like 15 minutes and nothing. So I pulled the battery and went back into recovery and got to the same screen and it didn't do anything. Now I read in another forum that at that point with the triangle I am supposed to hit the home and power button for it to continue. Is that accurate?
I tried to follow a tutorial for rom manager but it never mentioned anything about that screen with the triangle and yellow exclaimation point. Since I don't think it actually did anything after it rebooted I let the phone boot normally and old rom is still intact. So before I try this again I just want to clarify what I need to do after the point where it reboots and goes to that triangle screen. I really don't want to end of bricking my phone.
Thanks in Advance.
Sean

G2: BRICKED? please help

WHAT I DID:
From stock ROM, albeit rooted -
opened ROM Manager
chose to download CM7rc2, also ticked Google bundle
allowed it to do its thing
Could not log into Google account, same as with CM6 - why does it hate me?
decided to flash back to previous backup
This is where everything goes wrong
I got stuck at the "htc" boot screen forever. Waited more than 5 minutes.
Pulled battery.
Tried to restore other recovery images.
Most recent attempt: started a recovery, came back to phone, and noticed the power is off. It will not power back on. Am I just screwed?
Wait so can you get into recovery? Did it run out of battery?
Also a nandroid might take more the 5 mins to boot if you had a lot of information in it.

Need urgent help please

Hi guys, recieved my phone back from T-Mobile all repaired and working again
I ran the Advanced Hack kit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1259821&highlight=ace+hack+kit, followed the instructions, it all went well, said it completed. Phone hung on T-Mobile flash screen for 15 mins. Pulled battery, powered up, hanging for another 15 mins.
Powered up into Hboot, still S-On.
I can access Clockwork recovery OK also.
Phone still hanging, so selected restore factory settings. Hangs at flash screen.
I restored my Back-up of RCMix3D (probably a bad idea, but ran out of things to try). Rebooted, hangs at T-Mobile screen again.
I'm pulling my hair out now, what can I try??
I wanted to try the Hack tool again, but it won't connect without the phone booted. Also, I tried running an RUU, again it won't run without the phone booted.
I just copied the stock T-Mobile PD98IMG to the SD card, updated, went smoothly, now won't boot at all
bumping to the top

Well,
if you talk to attn1 again, please tell him to contact me.. I'm stuck with my dhd aswell.
My problem is:
Few months ago i rooted my unbranded DHD, installed CyanogenMod 7.1, it worked perfectly fine for a couple of months, but a few days ago, my phone was on but did not respond anymore. I tried to reboot it, but it got stuck at the white screen with the HTC logo (sometimes it bootloops, other times it freezes)
I rebooted the phone with the volume down key pressed, so it would give me that menu,
scrolled down to "Recovery", i get the recovery menu from ClockworkMod, but then my volume key does not work ! i can not do whipe or anything else, the phone freezes.
I mounted the SD card in my PC, cleared it, put a rom in root of SD card and call the rom "PD98IMG.zip" and put the SD card back in my phone. I start the phone with the volume key down pressed, i get that
white screen with the menu and it then finds the .zip file.
It then reads the image, parses the image and then tries to load "NV.img" on which my phone freezes again.
I tried CyanogenMod and LeeDroid, and a stock rom. They all do the same thing, as written above.
When i connect my phone to my PC, my pc tries to install the driver, but gives me an error, saying the device is not known. I have installed both HTC Sync and the SDK. Tried it when i had only HTC Sync
installed, did not work either.
I also tried a RUU (.exe file) but this program tells me there is no device connected...
My phone is over a year old, so i have no warenty anymore, that's why i rooted it.

[Q] A500 Stuck At Silver Android Screen

I got in an A500 that had a weird yellow icon in the upper left. I wish I would have paid more attention to exactly what it said, but it was a small yellow icon, squareish and, to the best of my recollection, it said something like "NO FILE SYSTEM" or something like that.
Anyways, I followed a thread that I started where Moscow Desire helped me a LOT..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2131327
And was able to obtain my UID and SBK (thanx MD!! ) and went about trying to resurrect this A500..
I was able to get a bootloader installed... A black screen pops up at boot with
SKRILAX_CZ's bootloader v8
Booting Primary kernel image
But then it just sits there at the silver ANDROID screen. The ANDROID will blink a couple times and it shimmers, meaning it is not frozen. But I have left it at that screen for 10-20 mins with no change..
I have tried putting on various update.zip files but it either immediately pukes with a dead ANDROID or it just boots to the same silver ANDROID and sits there..
I have been able to boot into recovery once, did a wipe and reset and then it just went back to the silver ANDROID screen...
Any suggestions for what I can try next??
Thanx
Update info on this...
I have a working A500 so I loaded up PUB RECOVERY and did a back up of that A500 onto an SD card thinking I can simply RESTORE it to this one that is puking at boot...
I got an error message saying it couldn't format or restore /data.. I did an ADVANCED RESTORE and did each section one by one, /flexrom etc etc.. Everything copied over except /data...
Does this mean the partitioning is frak'ed???
Success!!!
I guess I was doing the right thing, but just needed the right combination of tools..
I used Black Thund3rs' APX Flash Tool and downloaded Bundle #11 from his "Bundles" Library..
Everything installed and, upon rebooting, it booted up fine..
So, woot!! Good to go!

Help Exposed Installation gone wrong

Hey, so I have had my phone rooted for a long time. I have a Galaxy S5 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
I decided I wanted to get Framework installed so I downloaded the right files and flashed it in TWRP.
My phone took way longer than 10 min to reboot into system so I thought I was stuck in a bootloop and decided to run my phone through TWRP again.
I tried rebooting but that didn't work. I have my phone's backup saved onto a micro SD so I did a factory reset and then tried rebooting.
I got past the rebooting logo and actually got to my lock screen where it asks for my password.
From there, I've been getting spammed with 3 different messages, one saying that IMS service is down, com.sec.vsimservice is down, and WfcService is down.
After I press ok to all 3 of the messages, my phone is still in the lock screen asking for my password but the phone doesn't recognize that im touching the screen to type. After letting the phone stay like that for a few minutes, the lock screen that asks for my password goes away and all I can see is my wallpaper background (no notification panel either) but now the phone recognizes me touching the screen ( I know that because the LED lights up for the windows button and back button )
So basically I decided to go into TWRP and flash my recovery that I had saved on the microSD.
After that didn't work, I've just been going through a series of factory resetting my phone and wiping Dalvik files and then flashing my recovery. My phone is getting unrealistically hot too.
Btw I never downloaded the Exposed Uninstaller from the forum so I tried downloading it onto my pc and then sending the file over to my phone through download mode using Odin so that I could flash the uninstaller through my TWRP but that didn't work because the PDA in Odin does not recognize the uninstaller file.
Please, I really need help and thanks to anyone who tries, it would mean a lot if someone could figure out what I can do. Thanks.
Since you've tried restoring your backup and everything seems to have failed (it sucks, I know) you should try to install a completely stock firmware which you can download from here: http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-G900I Just make sure you select your exact phone model from the dropdown menu at the top right side as you didn't mentioned which of the 40 S5s you have lol. And after you flash stock firmware and successfully boot up try to restore your backup. If it's still bugged - flash stock again and start off fresh. Let me know how it turns out. I'll help with installing xposed later as well, first let's get your phone running again
