Cannot update prl on my Fascinate. Any ideas?

Make sure you are trying to do it while on a verizon tower and not roaming.

Mine just popped up but than it went away, tried to press apply but wasnt responding..hopefully itll come back soon
Yep! I got it too. I asked an Android guru buddy of mine and he said it was just a fix for exchange email.
I noticed nothing different yet...signal bars the same...1 good note is that it did not change my S.IP DUN settings and all back so it did not break my tethering settings....
I got it this morning.
The update is on the vzw website -Incredible updates. A fix for business email , nothing else.
I am trying to download the verizon updates and when innopath active care shows me the update available, I hit ok and starts downloading it but it only downloads 10 %, and it shows network failure, how can I fix it?

Same here for the past 2nd days. I have tried wifi on and off. Makes no difference. Horrible signal and drama... In done, jumping ship tomorrow for the X.

What does it say? How many bars do u have when attempting to upgrade? Do you have 2.3.5 and latest radio?

It says failed yes stock 2.3.5 rooted I tried the airplane mode trick and the 4g trick nothing has worked

My nexus won't update prl or profile so if I do dialer code 72786 and select yes(which I've done before)the phone won't activate because it can't reach the activation system. Be careful!
I don't get it but if I can't update prl or profile, it won't re activate. Had to do manually and the prl and profile STILL wouldn't update.

Mine is still at 60680. Can anyone upload the 60681 prl for those of us that can't get the update or update just doesn't work?

i don't know if this is a coincidence but i haven't been able to update my prl in months but today i just started trying different things. i went into *#*#4636#*#* selected cmda auto prl as preferred network type hit home button to exit. then i went into update prl and it went through successfully.

I've had seven nexus s devices throughout the 30 day period from may 8. None of them would ever update prl or profile. Although I select home only so prl doesn't matter much.
I used the quoted trick and the prl updated successfully. Again, not that it matters...I haven't tried updating the profile.

Will I did it that it said it updated but it stoop days 60680 ... Tried it multiple times and rebooted still doesn't work

Using BuglessPete's ROM, this worked for me; had to reboot the phone after the PRL call was made, but PRL now shows as 60681. I had 60680 before.

Maybe the new prl's aren't for me. I'm set for 'home only' though so no matter.

I've been using that prl for 3g roaming while at work for the past couple of weeks. Today though I lost my data connection. Still can make calls and text. Tried reflashing prl, rebooting, everything. I use roam control, and when I switch to home I have normal sprint service with 3g data. When I switch back to roam it gives only voice and text and says sprint can't login?
Anyone else having issues?

My guess is the 3G is down on that roaming tower or Sprint didn't pay their bill.

Someone else posted the 0001 prl stopped working so i'm guessing Verizon is having pessaries right now. I also had friends on Facebook post that at&t was having issues all morning.

Sorry to exhume the thread, but 11115 definitely hasn't been working for me when roaming. Is it actually working for anyone?
Has anybody had issues with their epic showing the wrong time or having the wrong time stamp on texts? If so, is there a way to fix this?

I find whenever that happens, it happens to the lady's phone too. I usually chalk it up to maintenance on a tower near my house. It usually lasts for a day or two.

If it's consistent, it can be fixed, if it's not a forever issue, then it'll go away.
In my case:
My # starts with 214, (Dallas,TX) area code. But I live in Oregon, and roaming 24/7 with 1x.
SO
My timestamps have *always* been wrong. lol
I used the app, SMS time fix. I just selected the option to fix my timestamp according to my phone's time (which is correctly sync'd to Pacific-Time Zone) and tada! my problem's solved.

The gingerbread update seems to have actually fixed the "wrong timestamp while roaming" issue, so no need for that app any more.
I've been roaming nonstop for about a week now and all timestamps have been spot on.

If you take a look at my Carrier, it isn't sprint, so it may be fixed for Native Sprint users, but not my carrier.
