Innopath active care network failure - Fascinate General

I am trying to download the verizon updates and when innopath active care shows me the update available, I hit ok and starts downloading it but it only downloads 10 %, and it shows network failure, how can I fix it?

Same here for the past 2nd days. I have tried wifi on and off. Makes no difference. Horrible signal and drama... In done, jumping ship tomorrow for the X.
After all of my samsung instinct issues I should have known better. Good luck guys.

Phone rebooted twice today

I'm wondering why this is happening, it has done it before but 2 times within 3 hours. I'm beginning to worry... Any ideas?
Oddly enough it seems to do it right when I pick it up to use it.

Oh yea, completely stock.

I had mine reboot on me today as well, it's the stock rom with root. I didn't pick it up. It happened while I was tethered using the free Wireless Tether App and the phone was asleep.
Yea, I don't even have root.. it has done it 2 more times since my first post.

Just a guess, but check the battery temperature.
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Select battery information.
Mines at 36c.

I think ppl r getting confused, u r completely stock with no root aspects. Did u install the leak ota?
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
No OTA, no root, no ROM. sorry for the delayed response, passed out last night
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Probably was just hot at those times and just rebooted. I don't think you should be too worried

one of my co-workers has been having the same issue. (completely stock as well). Mine has rebooted a handful of times, at least once that was possibly at the exact time as my co-worker's. He's called in enough that they are offering to replace the phone.
Me Too
My phone has been rebooting more and more recently. I suspect it is very poor signal causing the phone to work too hard, triggering a reboot. My will get to 109 degrees for no particular reason, and then start rebooting.
My warranty replacement (refurb) is expected today.

[Q] Sound Whenever Connecting to a Cell Network

Hey guys, can't find the answer anywhere but, whenever I connect to a cell network 3g/4g or lose the connection whatever I am doing on the phone sound wise is interrupted by an alert. Any idea how to turn this off?
You're right, there doesn't seem to be a setting for that - unfortunately

I agree on this one. I tried browsing system files in hopes of locating and replacing the file but didn't have any luck. Pretty embarrassing when I'm at work and my pocket starts twinkling repeatedly as my phone tries reconnecting to network.
Well back to Verizon and the fascinate on Thursday. Don't have 4g in MN yet anyhow

Its definitely Touchwiz related, never happened on my Nexus.

Samsung customer service..(rant!)

Samsungs customer service is a joke, wrote the voice of the customer (samsung website) a lengthy email and I get back a canned response that doesn't even address my concerns. In this day and age you would believe a company would actually want to keep customers

What was the problem I'm curious. I did a chat with Samsung and they told me a bunch of things to do that you tell clueless people, like restart your phone or factory reset. The worst part is he told he never heard pf anyone complaining about the issue I was describing. Yet there are threads all over the internet about it. It's pathetic.
One thing I absolutely loved about Apple is that you walk into their store, you show them a legitimate problem and you walk out with another phone. No BS no runaround no nothing. That's the only thing I miss and I miss it a lot.
I'm with you techweed, I'm having the dreaded wifi is unstable message, the first tech support rep admitted it's a software issue and to deal with it. The last samsung rep said to send it in and be without a phone for five days. I tried to tell them they can't fix this since it's a software issue but they said the same thing to me about not having ever heard about this issue. I'm so close to going back to apple it's not even funny

If they made a phablet I would seriously consider going back barring some incredible device being released by one of the Android manufacturers.
I hear you, it's crazy I've had all the notes, I love this phone when it works but it seems the note 2 was much more refined

I thought we established that this method does not work for everyone?
The funny thing is that the unstable wifi issue started occurring after a few days, not right away. Can someone provide a technical explanation why it's happening? I've never had this issue in any Samsung phone.

Are you still stock or rooted? I am seeing reports of certain root/flashing combinations causing wifi issues.

worst customer service
the galaxy note 3 is wonderful machine
BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST EVER
AND NEED DECADES TO REACH THE LEVEL OF APPLE CARE
since i bought my galaxy note 3, i have the problem of overheat... which is very known
i visited so many times reparation center in my city
and send it to the main reparation center in Paris
and after one month waiting ... they return the phone fter resetting it only... WTF
and when i saw my wife iphone who had the same problem and being replaced after one call only and within 3 days... i'm really wanna throw this phone to nearest garbage...
more than 3 months have been passed and over 15 times call to customer service
and 9 times went to reparation center including once to main one...
to end by defected phone and can't be use more than 2 - 3 minutes...
Guess what? ALL "Customer Service" is a joke. In fact, customer service no longer exists. Welcome to 2014.

Exactly. I had this message and it turned out, my router was d/cing the modem.

Wifi issues do I need to switch while I still can

I just got the s4 and its total stock but it keeps dropping on and off wifi. In fact in settings it sometimes says I have poor wifi conection. But I know my router is good and my wifes g2 has no problems. I read online there is alot of issues sinve the 4.3 update and even after the patch. I also read samsung is not going to do anything there blaming sprint or your wifi. Should I switch to the g2 while I still can or hold out for a fix or does anyone know a fix?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Also it took 4 hours to set up phone. Most was the crazy slow download of apps from play store and updates from play store. Small apps would take 10 minutes to download then about 5 to install while on my wifes g2 same app same time downloaded and installed in under a minute
Sent from my SPH-L720 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
WiFi switching on and off is probably under wifi settings. Just turn it off and it will stop switching on and off.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I tried that even did the ##code to get into WiFi and turn off WiFi saver. Nothing worked and then it started saying no mobile data connection but I was on lte and it worked. Plus I was getting that Knox problem so I just went to the g2. Thanks though

Yeah. My phone is behaving more fluidly though. I had some weird ram bug were it would freeze & close up while I'm in the middle of something and take me back to my lockscreen which is now gone thank god.

Speaking of updates, are we (Note Edge) slated to get Android M whenever it comes out? Or will we all be using different phones by the time we get it?
Yeah, hoping this update to 5.1.1 makes it run better.
Im on sprint and after my update i seem to drop off my home Wi-Fi. I have forgotten network and re-entered, reebooted etc and it still happens never once before stage freight update :/
