So you are taking the call from your phone and not the headset? To do that you would be unplugging the headphones, so therefore music woud come throgh the phone after the call... sounds logical to me.

Yes the music continues on the phone , but when i plug the headset back after the call the music still continues on the phone it doesnt play on the headset anymore

Hello~ I recently got my HTC wildfire. I can't hear any sound/music in my earphones after I plugged it in when I listen to the music player. I'm using audio technica earphones which works perfectly fine with my previous HTC touch 2. so i decided to use the earphones that came with the wildfire set. However, that didn't work too! but I can hear the music perfectly fine without the earphones, like blast it through the speakers.
is there a problem with my phone or is there some function i ought to enable or something..? hope someone can help me..
Sounds faulty, send it back for repair
heck if it's properly plugged and if still wont work send it back for repair
When I connect head phones to my x10a the audio is distorted badly. it doesnt matter if I connect headphones or a aux cord to the phone to listen to music in the car the audio is distorted and the music app I use (pandora, last fm,slacker) all become unlistenable. Is there a app or a hack I need to do? I already did a warranty exchange with the phone.. any help will be appreciated.
Do your headphones have a microphone on them? That happened to me as well, so I got some headphones without a mic, and now it's crystal clear. I have altec brand headphones now and they are awesome. If you get new onss, I highly recommend getting those.

i got audio problems too change your phone as soon as you can
Again. Questions go in Q&A
The problem occurs when I plug in my headphones. The phone isn't recognizing the headphone as headphones but as a headset( icon has a headset with a mic). So when I start up my music player (stock and several others) the music player starts to go crazy (pause, skip, etc) with the songs. This also occurs with the Pandora app. This started to occur when CM7 officially got released so it may be related to CM7 but when I install a stock TMO WinMO rom the problem occurs anyways because the headphone is recognize as a bluetooth headset.
I am currently using Typhoon's v3.4.0 ROM. Can anyone PLEASE help because I use the phone as my MP3 player and I travel a lot so I use it all day.
Bump I really need an answer
Use different earphones. Sounds like one of the connections of is bleeding into the headset control pickup in the earphone socket, triggering the headset detector, then the signal from the music is being misinterpreted as commands.
Exactly why some do this I don't know, some manufacturing oddity perhaps, something off with electrical signal quality maybe.
I have a set of cheap phones that scroll through and dial my call history when I play music, but only on winmo.
Scenario I'd like to see:
Wired Headphones plugged in
Bluetooth connected to audio receiver
Music plays through audio receiver
Calls go through wired headphones
If a call comes in it pauses the music app and transfers audio to headset. As soon as call complete music continues.
I can get this to work on my Scotts Clean Rom Note 2 and iPhone 5 fine but I can't seem to find a setting or app that can allow this behavior.
Why?
I much prefer hearing music through my car speakers and if I get a call it's much easier to hear and talk through the wired headset.
Anyone else have this use case? Figured out an answer?
Just a thought since I haven't tired this yet.... What happens when you turn off phone audio(but leave media) for the car in the bluetooth settings on the phone?

Gave it a try, still reverted to headphones.
Thanks though!
Hello.
I am using my S4 in car.
It connects at same time to my car hands free (Audi MMI) with Call Audio profile and it connects to my A2DP Music receiver (connected to my car IPOD cable) using A2DP profile.
This dongle supports also Call Audio profile but I have paired it using only A2DP.
Connections are good and phone always connect to both without connection issues.
Sometimes (often) when it is connected to both devices, music and sound stop playing (the player is going on with playing and with time counter but I can't hear any sound from car or from phone speaker).
If I disconnect car hands free, music starts playing from car audio speakers.
If I reconnect car hands free again, music stops playing.
When this happen, the only way I found to solve is to restart the phone and then all is ok (phone hands free and music streaming).
I have the problem with 4.3 but it was the same also with previuos 4.2.2 android version.
I think it is a phone problem since restarting always solve it.
Someone had the same problem or has any advice?
Thank you
Chris
