So I used this program extensively with my MT3G, but now that I have the Vibrant, it is telling me I don't have Root when I clearly do. Anyone else having this issue?

I have a

I have installed tomtom on it sucessfully, but when i run it the program will turn of at random periods and i dont know why. I have upgraded it to 5.1 but that has done nothing, i have turned off the manage gps aut on windows, but its still doing it
Any Body know why and how i can sort it out.
Cheers
Neel
I am getting the same problem. I think it may be something to do with the BlueTooth since when tomtom dives out there is no current connection even though bluetooth is enabled.
Its a frustrating one. Does anybody have a clue about this one?
Many other postings have said that this is to do with the POIs used in version 5.
There is a patch somewhere on the forums that should stop doing this. In the meantime, try temporarily disabling the POI and see if it freezes or not.
I can't find the patch. Any ideas where I can find it?
I've uploaded it to:
ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/
in the root directory... it's called 'PatchPoiTTN5.zip'. There is also another TTN POI file there- maybe this is similar if not the same.
Apologies to admin if this file is duplicated.
Hi,
I am using an AT&T Tilt with factory ROM version 1.57.502.2 Radio version 1.27.12.11 and I have found that with the WEP 500, the handset will work clearly for a minute or 2 and then voice becomes garbled and robotic.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Would a radio update potentially fix this?
Any suggestions?
Hi,
I have a question regarding Bloover, if anybody can help it would be much appreciated!
Overview:
Am In trying to write an app that does some snarfing using the AT commands, similar to the way Bloover does. But I'm only interested in getting it working for the Nokia 6310i because its a school project. I'm not trying to hack the world of Bluetooth as I know its near impossible these days! And the reason I'm talking about Bloover as I used that as a base as I've seen it working from my SE K750i attacking my Nokia 6310i, so I decompiled the code to get an idea of how the AT Commands work (most of it is crap as its obfuscated, but you can get an idea of how the hack works)
My problems:
Currently my code will discover and connect to the phone and I am able to send AT commands to it via outputstream and or OBEX Put. Problem is, I'm consistently getting a return error code of 195 (OBEX_HTTP_FORBIDDEN).
So, what I need to know from more seasoned and experienced programmers and hackers out there (you guys! ) is:
1. Does the phone need to be paired before I can send the commands? Its saying its connected, but not paired?
2. Does it need a special AT Command to open it up to accept all commands, e.g. open a port or some kind of way in?
I think thats all I need, (so far!) if anybody can help me with these couple of questions if anybody has done anything similar or just knows how it all works it would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,
DG
OK, Sorry about this, its a bit of a bump, but...
I have some more info, that I don't need to pair with the device, but still can't get it to accept any commands. Does anybody know if a buffer overflow is required for this hack for the phone to accept the commands?
Thanks,
DG.
I have a problem installing this same software on my Samsung Moment
I recently purchased a spy software package to track my childrens phone usage and I cant get it to work on my phone, It installs and I can start Bloover2 but it says faital error just before the splash screen shows up and then it shuts down.
I have the program and can send it to anyone that might want to help me with it. and it may have what you are looking for ''' other programs in the package'''

well I have to tell you that you must have bought a scam. all cell spy apps need to be installed on the victim phone, there is no real tool that can install on your own phone to spy on another phone. my advice would be claiming refund right now. for trusted cell spy apps check the review:

hope it helps.
I have done a search here on this site and found a few topics related to my issue. However, I have not seen a solution for the problem. I also however, have not seen anyone saying it is impossible. So I guess I am asking for either a solution or a reason as to why this cannot be done.
ANYWAY! Onto the issue at hand!
There is a site I would like to get working on my aria. It allows me to listen in on shortwave radio frequencies. I would have provided a link but it told me I cant so...bleh...
Problem is, whenever I go to the site it tells me java is not installed or it is disabled.
So can anyone help me out here? Or can anyone tell me this is not possible and I will simply never have a shortwave radio on my aria?
Thanks in advance for any information given.
I went into a T-Mobile store and had an associate upgrade my handset to Gingerbread. Everything works fine except for when I go into Navigation to use GPS. I type in the location where I want to go, but it says, "Searching for GPS..." and then it never finds it. Of course, I'm trying to use it in locations where GPS previously worked fine.
Here's what I've done to try to fix the issue:
1. restart the phone
2. download an app called "GPS Status & Toolbox" It has a tool that allows you to reset your gps data or something like that.
3. factory reset
Does anyone know of something else that I can try?

this is may/may not help.
I would recommend you root and d/l a AOSP rom with new panache radio or similar, but that's another story....
Thanks for the reply, h22aboi. Unfortunately those procedures didn't work either.
I called T-Mobile tonight, and they couldn't give me an answer on how to fix the GPS. But the lady mentioned that others were having the same problem, and they were working on a solution. I asked her how many people were having this problem, and she said ten. That's not exactly a huge number, so I don't want to hold my breath for a fix.
I'm thinking about rooting my phone, but I'm under the impression that I would need to first downgrade to Froyo. I found a guide on how to do that, but it looks really complicated, especially for a total noob like me. I don't even know what an ADB is.
