S-Off bootanimation - Desire Themes and Apps

Has any one got a suitable dark themed boot animation to match the new S-Off Hboot screen?
Thanks

or you can get a new Splash screen

I Like the splash screen, but the nexus bootanimation just doesn't match the nice dark splash screen.
And all others I have seen, either have an apple theme, or again a smooth htc. So just looking for something dark to match!

Will bump this Nov 8th heh
How sweet that would be!
MyTouch 4G for T-Mobile USA out on the 3rd of November (a worthy hardware bump)... tough decisions. I will probably wait until the 8th to see if anything really surfaces.
I believe it to be rumor at this point, but surely we all hope it is not.
i really hope this is true cant wait
The device on the 8th wont be the N2, because well the invitation image says the name of the device right in it

If i was a member of the media id tell you, and im pretty sure they had to NDA
The device that Samsung are going to announce on November 8th is called the Samsung Continuum. It is going to be a 2.1 device for Verizon and its main feature is that is dual-screen with the second screen acting as a ticker which will display weather, Facebook updates, etc...
However it is reported that there is going to a be a surprise announcement on the day of the Continuum unveiling of a new Nexus device, manufactured by Samsung, which will run Gingerbread. Apparently the device will be called the Nexus S.

Update this thread on Nov. 8th with the scoop
ITS REAL!!\
http://gizmodo.com/5676008/hands-on-the-nexus-two-by-samsung
Gizmodo could be f-ing with us. Or be serious.
I don't see why Google would choose Samsung over HTC. Unless they really want to develop Android on the Hummingbird GPU.
I do NOT like this. It's not even the Nexus One feel. Looks like every other variant of the Galaxy S.
If its stock Android + Google Apps and NOT carrier-subsidized, I will purchase one despite it not being manufactured by our beloved HTC.. when HTC releases their stock/gapps/unsubsidized super phone, I will purchase one of those too. This is of course after I confirm that they both feature 'fastboot oem unlock'...
If the Nexus 2 is the Gizmodo phone then why doesn't it have Android 3.0? The lime green phone icon they so claim its coming with. Not some plain ol' launcher icons. I hope thats not the Nexus 2.
glad Sammy is behind it! I was sick of all the HTC designs since the days of G1.
its just another Galaxy, great *rolls eyes*

TWRP 2.0 Touchscreen Recovery RC released (wish we could get this on Epic 4G)

Team Win Recovery Project 2.0, or twrp2 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It’s a fully touch driven user interface – no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
http://teamw.in/project/twrp2
Wish some people from the epic development could get this to work on the epic 4g
Just a thought
You had me at touchscreen interface!
Android Creative Syndicate communications guru QBKing77 has a great video out showing the features;

This looks totally cool! Hopefully we'll get a port from Team Win.
I caught word of a possible port when we first got official clockworkmod 5...dunno where that went though
sent from my always aosp epic
It didn't disappear, the possible word was when 2.1 was to appear not 2.0 lol.
Basically since they were already done with 2.0 we as well as other devices wouldn't be a huge priority. We've buttons, some supported devices do as well. But yeah.
Sent from my Epic 4G
The photon has it and we have a much larger community than they do. Hopefully we'll get it eventually. The nexus s 4g did so maybe that'll help.

Does the galaxy tab have it? If they do I saw someone on the tab flash OUR cwm 5

Thread moved to general. Once/if it gets ported over to the epic, then it would be considered development material.

I think I remember seeing that he was talking about cm5 on his tab but not our exact one. But I may be wrong
Sent from me.
I just flashed TWRP 2.0 on this phone yesterday and I must admit, its quite nice. I probably put more mileage on my volume rocker and power button in one month of flashing than I do in a year of normal phone use. I hope it makes its way here next

Nexus phones will always get it first followed by OEM's dropping the updates to their phones. Motorola didn't mention a date for the release though but my guess is that 2nd Gen Moto G and Moto X will get it first followed by Moto G and X first gen and other Moto models

Looks no different to any current Android. Quite what is Android 5 supposed to bring to the party?

Very little then. Almost all the features appear to be already available as 3rd party apps, and only mugs who believe that Google is in it for them will use the cloud sync features!
Not to be a party pooper, but that same screen is probably a snapshot and re-sized to each phone on the page.

Yeah I saw that days ago. I just didn't want to spoil the illusion.
Not going to lie, it looks exactly the same bar a few icon changes. I don't like the icon changes either.

Surely its a render of Lollipop on a Moto g, if you see, the wallpaper is different from the one Nexus 6, 5, Htc, and S4 have in that page... So its possible it is a render or a Photoshop work from Google. But WHO CARES?? All Moto G will get Lollipop and it will look exactly like that.. Dont worry for the icons and all that things..

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about it, not bothered too much about the icons. Just annoyed that there seems to be a trend for UI changes to be worse (BBC Iplayer is a prime example and the website).

Android was in dire need of a UI overhaul. It's looked the same for years.
I suspect a lot of the negative response is just people not liking change. Like when Facebook changes and there's riots for 2 weeks then everyone gets over it, then riots when they change it again (even though 6 months ago they hated what they're changing from)
I've been using the Developer Preview on my Nexus 5 for 4 months now. Trust me when I say this: There are more changes to Lollipop than icon and minor UI changes. Android has gotten a facelift! The dialer, system menus, toast notifications, icons, status bar, notification area, recents, etc have been revamped! There are features that allow you to lock any app with a single click before you give it to your friend, child, spouse that prevents them from doing any activity other than what you handed your phone to them for. There is just a lot of features that has been added that isn't really discussed much.
Plainly put: 5.0 is as big of a change as 4.2 is from 3.0. They've kept the goodness of Kitkat but added a ton of things to make things better
I'm excited but I'm not going to commit murder for Lollipop either lol
It's not all about the visuals, you all should be looking for info about what changed "under the hood". Believe me, if half of what they say is true, you won't believe how fast your phone will get
many things "under the hood" this time...??

Lg G6 UX [ Teaser ] + Leaked phone pics

Heres the official Teaser of upcoming UX. What you guys think... Will it be available for our G5 in any future updates ?

Eh, its boring, at least in my opinion, too empty to my taste...
Maybe LG will give us a working GPS to find waldo.

Looks cleaner, expecially the call screen. The round corners on the G6 are amazing. We will get this in 8.0 update around december 2017 - March 2018
