[Q] No audio/mic on calls?

Hey guys,
I've put Android on my HD2 and it works great. Except, whenever I make a phone call i cannot hear the other person and they cannot hear me.
I thought it may be due to the Radio ROM and was going to flash another to try and fix it but Data works fine? The web works great on it so surely the radio must be okay?
I'm using:
HSPL3
EnergyROM by NRGZ28
Leo_RADIO_2.12.50.02_2
Desire V5 Froyostone
Sound works okay in general, when i dial numbers the speaker works, just on calls. SMS works okay
Even though i'm having a slight niggle i would like to also use this thread to thank everyone here for their hard work on porting Android to HD2

I got to ask BUT are you running the CLRCAD program beofer you run Haret to boot into android?

The WinMo build i've flashed loads to a home screen with a Launch Android button, I assumed it was scripted to run CLRCAD first, but i'm not sure?
I'll restart the device back into WinMo and see if i can manually launch Android rather than the button on the cooked rom
***Additional Info***
I restarted the device and forgot to remove the memory card so booted straight to Android and hey presto, sound works great
I think on first boot it must not launch CLRCAD but after that it does. I feel a bit n00bish now haha but thanks

Try other build of win mobile Rom, i have same problem when I using energy Rom

how did you get the sound to work...i have the same problem...everything works for me but when i try to make calls...the sound buttons work...just can't hear a person when i call or they can't hear me either...i have the 2.10.50.26 radio...and my rom is the 2.13.531.1......and i did run the clrcad first then the haret file...but nothing...any help would be appreciated.....thank you..

I used the 2.12 radio, I boot without SD card into nrg Rom, used file explorer to locate Android folder on card (put back in at this point) and start. Those files then it works

My sons phone was doing this, he had Energy Rom Reference and had sound issues, flashed Titanium and all has been good, didnt change his radio, using a .50 one, didnt recopy the Android folder, simply wiped the phone and flashed.

[Q] HELP PLs I can't INsTAll AnDRoid On my HD2!

I can't install android on my hd2 I already installed HSLP3 2.08 also running energy rom
manilla version 2.5.20191914.0
radio 2.12.50.02_2
OS version 5.2.23148
Ive tried so many android builds some times when i run it the little android white letters appear as it should but there shrunk and appear at the left top cornerof my phon ive only been able to run it twice and android worked bt after a reboot it went back to the htc screen for hours and never was able to get it started pls someone pls help me ive been trying to slove this proble for weeks bt haven't been able to solve it please some help me!

format your sd card then try again. or flash different rom like chuckydroid or vbnrom.

energy rom is just fine, try 2.12.50.xxx radio, donwload the android build you want and unzip to desktop on pc, grab android folder and place on root of your sd...... you cant always use the android bootloader on this WM rom unless you edit the startup on android build...... on WM go to start>tools>file explorer> make sure keypads lights are on and hit CLRCAD first, then hit HARET and just let it go all the way, some builds take longer on first boot cuz data.img is being created so wait bout 5-10-15 min ........ dont forget to turn off auto backlights on WM before doing all this.. good luck...

Maybe a change back to HSPL2 would help..

Do you happen do have extended battery?

ive done tha many times bt it just goes into these really small letters at the left top corner of tha phone it doesn't load up like other android boots ive seen and it goes to htc screen what culd it bcuz it never loads up after hours

ok, start all over again.... download and do task29, reinstall your energy rom upgrade radio again, apply settings i gave you and try to boot again..... let me know how it goes

What type of sd card are you using, try a different sd card... That eliminates the sd card as the culprit.

I have the original 16gb sd card that comes with the phon and im sure its not corrupted bcuz it works great

can u explain a little better what kenel and linux is or if i hve to update tha too i really dont undestand what that really is?

Hey Ill be installing android soon when I get back my phone from warranty, and I dont know what auto backlights are(my motherlanguage isnt english) and how to turn them off?
Can you tell me?

Also explain if it is a hd2 with 320mb ram

This is what i did
I flashed the newest hard spl i think it is number 3.0 and changed the radio to 2.12.50 and after i put energy rom on it what will upgrade my ram to 570 or something. I am very happy with that rom very fast and stable. Now im using FroyoStone Sense - V3.2][Kernel: linux_on_wince_htc 2.6.32.15] from darkstone.
Im sorry for all the winmo 6.5 hardcore users. I tweaked and played with it for a time now. But now im using froyo from my sd card (very fast and stable) I want nothing else. I hope there will be a rom soon so i can cook a android rom on my hd2 leo. I think the biggest reason for me is the amount of good quality apps.

[Q] one question about he CLRCAD.exe

hi everyone... one question... it's may be appear stupid.. but i don't reach a response..
i have tryed to intsall AmeriCanAndroid on my HTC HD2, i have done click on CLRCAD.exe but it's don't do anything.. in sense, i don't see anything.. it's work in background? than i have started the other file, it's run but remain in black screen with the 9 rows for too much minutes, about 40 - 50 .. then i turn off the smartphone because it's don't appear normal... i am Italian so i don't know if this fact exclude me to install this OS (maybe there is some difference between the HD2 of USA and HD2 of EU ? )...

but... same story... CLRCAD.exe appear don't working... my questions are..
1) CLRCAD work in background? it's normal that i can't see anything?
2) if it's normal it's normal that the second file want all this minutes for complete the install??

you wont see it running it just enables sound in sd versions of android
you run that file then you run haret.exe to start anndroid

what doesnt start? if you mean clrcad.exe you wILL NOT see it running in the background

yes, i understand about it.. i mean the other exe... it's make a black screen with 9 rows, the last say "jumping ecc ecc" but it's stay like freezed for hours, and my smartphone and SD card are almost empty

Are you using a bigger battery?
I think most of the sd roms are working only with a normal battery.. Maybe this helps?!

You mean "Jumping to kernel" ?
I assume it's your first time running android. First, You MUST have a radio of 2.08 or above . Preferrably 2.12 or 2.15 . You don't need HSPL for running Android off your sd-card. and as said before, clrcad.exe doesn't show anything; it runs in the background.

hi, firstly your attempting to do a sd card android boot so it should probably go into the sd card forum. Anyways a radio is a piece of software in the phone that influence some wireless signals (to my understanding). you can check yours in windows mobile by going over to the "settings", then to "about phone", then to "software information" and then look at "radio version", that's your radio. If your radio is not one of the supported, then you'll have to flash a new one.

It's quite ironic that you're complaining about someone not reading whilst you yourself clearly haven't read the date of the post or the entire thread. If you had, you would not have unnecessarily reopened this thread and would have seen that it was pretty much resolved anyway.

[Q] Wifi Problem

I have wifi problem in all android roms but not in Windows mobile 6.5 stock rom.
When i use android i cant find my router (or if I find it i get disconnect after 5 minutes) which is dlink but when i use the stock Wm i find it. My dad have HTC wildfire and he can find the router only my phone cant. So i want to know is this hardware or software problem of my HD2, and how i can fix it.
Sorry about my poor english.

Help me please i don't know what to do whit this phone when i dont have wifi I really like it i dont want to sell it.

If you're not a noob to flashing, try Sergio's Coredroid V1.6. Best result on wifi

when you flash a rom do you start with task29? if not its best you do because if you are overwriting roms it can leave you with a few traces from old rom and also picks up a few errors.. if you are using task29 then it could be hardware problem and no one can help you with this except a repair shop but cant see it being hardware as you said it works in winmo..

I start with task 29 next i flash radio then MAGLDR CWR and rom. It is maybe a hardware

i have aslo a problem with my wifi, when i find a network i click "connect" then under WIFI i see "searching"----> "connecting"--->"disconnect" now i find a network where it stopping on taking IP adress

I solved my problem. When i go to setting> wifi>wifi settings> menu> advanced> Regular domeyn(or sth like that) and 13 channels. Now i'm OK thank for your answers anyway

any help please? i was trying to replace the newest apks. but i cannot copy them into system folders, i cant see them while copying and i am using [16.JUL.11][MAG/cLK]TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.4.2[2.3.4][A2SD][tytung r10]

You need "Root Explorer." A paid app. Or connect to PC and do it that way. Using any regular file expired or manager wont make the cut because you will then experience what you're experiencing. Stairing blindly at the system folder.

now i got root exploler but cannot copy anything because full 140 mb is used and cannot coppy even this 200 kb apks from wifi, any other solutions?

hi finally i connect to a wifi while using HD2 CoreDroid HD GB 2.3.3 V1.6 but it still seems like i wasnt connected i cant browse pages, wather and all this stuff asking to check if i am connected to internet

I have the same problem: no access (with very few temporary exceptions) to wifi. No network is detected, while I am sure there several available.
Moreover, even in 3G, I have no web access (whatever is the browser used).
I installed HD2 CoreDroid HD GB 2.3.3 V3 a few days (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926507) and strictly implemented installation instructions (Task29, format SD Card, and then install instructions given on the webpage).
What can I do? Thanks in advance for your help. This Rom is excellent and I would like to use it!!!

well now everything is ok, and it seems that it was ok from the start, just try to find any hotspot in your city and try to connect to it, one day i was walking and i though "hey why to not search for any wifi signal" and i found one, tap on it and woah! its working ^^ now everything is working for me, just make sure you you get everything configured

I've loaded Pentaj#&$& (can't remember how its spelled) latest Rom on my phone, however I couldn't task29 or anything with the hd2 toolkit because it always timed out after 10 minutes and got a communication error and the HTC screen on the phone stayed at 0%. Any ideas why? I've tried two windows 7 pcs with the same results.
Secondly I want to push a sound fix cab to the phone but the only tutorial u can find for cab sender doesn't give enough info. Is there a better method and if not could someone explain to me how to set this up?

you should be reading all you can about flashing and etc before you actually do it & know where to find info resources. check out the link in my signature to flashing wp7.
and there really isn't a tutorial on cab sender.

I've flashed many roms, but always came from the original WM 6.5 yadda yadda... It said to task 29 this time, but for some reason, despite seeing the phone and initializing it would never get past 0%. I've heard it may have something to do with the wrong version HSPL?
The CAB deal, I've downloaded the program and done the suggested push with backup, but it doesn't see the file... where do you have to post the CAB file to?
Anyways, even without the task 29, coming from ICS it seems to work fine.
