Tried to do this myself but images didn't show up! The new sense HD rom, i'd like to have the mod for 100 battery images aka battery percentage. I don't care what battery!

Hey guys, looking to find out which rom is best on battery life? I am using CyanogenMod 3.6.8.1 right now, and it's killing my battery as fast as I can charge it. Which ones seem to work best for saving the battery? thanks for the input!
not sure if cyan has removed the battery on the lockscreen on 3.6.8.1 but on his newer bulids on (3.9.7) he has removed the battery icon fromm the lockscreen and i must say the battery life has increased...i say go with his new build to save some battery power
I did, I flashed about an hour ago, so far doing better
I feel that 3.9.7 was eating more batter than 3.6.8.1 i went back to 3.6.8.1
Since battery widgets use battery I have been using a battery app that show the battery level only when i click on it.
Darchdroid has an option that puts thr battery percentage in the battery meter. Anyone know if this would use battery?

Click to collapse
Huh?
I've been using BatteryLife's widget and it doesn't use (hardly) any battery... It never even shows up in my battery usage menus... Unless the programmer isn't any good at making the widget, I see no reason that a battery meter should use that much battery...
And as far as I know, putting the battery percentage in the status bar uses none... It just takes the value that makes the little icon change the image and displays it...
hey im wondering if sense less have better battery drain then sense
so is it helping to lite sense build ?
what u think
i get mostly 6-9mA
7-8mA average
1hour per %
i tired few sense less build not helping to get
5-7mA like i had before
1.5-2 hours per %
on ROM build i get 7mA static
5mA with pilot mode
maybe i should change radio ?
in my opinion sense builds drain more battery. have tried nand and sd builds, with sense, without, hd, etc. in past...
hd builds drained the most battery while using, in standby drain was about 5-7ma!
with gingerbread i have a standby drain of 3-5ma and, and while using the phone battery is much better than on sense builds.
Was just wondering about this battery and if anyone has tested and if its genuine...
2430mAH Battery
if not could anyone suggest a good battery that ensures all day battery running android 3.4, i have to switch it of while in work and back on at break to ensure it lasts me until i reach the charger..
2430mAH ??
Never heard before, really huge....
BUT:
"SAME SIZE AS ORIGINAL BATTERY"
Because of the reason that the (original) battery with 2300mAH is (much) bigger than original size i'am very sceptical....
there already are a couple of threads for this battery and their user experiences,
example http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926183.
But the conclusion is that it's not better nor worse than the standard battery and that there's no way on earth to squeze 2430mAH in the same battery size as the original.
hey
i used moto mytouch4g and got nice battery life around 40hours
and now with sense 3.5 got around 24hours
anyway to make it last longer ?
i did same uninstillation of apk i dont need, is there apk that drain more battery ?
sense 2.0 will definietely return a longer battery life. Its less heavy on the hardware and the ROM is smaller(the size). So booting up time will be lesser, also in the name of battery life. For apks, it depends on what apps are they. If they constantly run in the background or if they are Android processes, it will hamper battery life. Also, the more apps you have, the longer the boot time will be,draining more juice. As you should know, our HD2s will not have the battery life of stock Android phones like your moto,so yeh 24hrs should be your benchmark.Back to the verdict, for battery life, the sense 2.0 ROM will definitely fare better. Anyways, although the devs have done an excellent job to perfect Sense 3.0 roms, its still a bit 'sluggish'.So its your call.
Hope this helps man.
