your ram is already unlocked. unlocking ram is for regular hd2 only, not tmous. you have 576 of which 448 useable, regular hd2 has 448 of which 320 useable until it gets unlocked.

M500 specs? 64 or 128MB?

I've seen the M500 (Orange UK) advertised as having both 64Mb & 128Mb ram - Can anyone confirm how much ram they actually have?

Can 576MB RAM be unlocked on Telstra HD2 T9193?

I've seen posts of people unlocking their Leos to run 576MB of RAM, but that requires flashing the radio. Is there anyone with a Telstra Leo who unlocked the full amount of RAM? Also which is the best cooked ROM, because I also heard the Telstra ROM is crap?
i have telstra rom running on att in the usa,and i have the ram unlocked using the radios that unlock it, and i use xanny techs evolution.its fast, clean, pretty and i get almost 2 days of battery with email being checked every 5 min,and moderate use of phone, txts
So you're saying that the Telstra ones use the same radios as the 900/2100MHz Leos? I thought I'd better make sure.
Unlocking the 576MB RAM on HTC HD2 T9193
Thanks for asking the question. I understand that the US T-Mobile version has the 576MB RAM unlocked for their customers once the phone is released! Anyone have the method of unlocking this phone???

Can someone clear something up?

I have a tmobile U.S. HD2. I have 576 MBs of RAM and my flash size is 1024MB. I see different ROMs that say it will work for TMOUS, but not on the 1024.
Do I have the 1024? Are there 2 different models of the HD2 in the US for Tmo?
Thanks
Afaik, there's only the 1 GB T-Mobile HD2, see Specs. Ask the ROM chef what that is about.
there is only one "tmous"with 1gb rom, however there are a fair few people using imported hd2s on t mo in the us.

{q} Any benifts on theT-Mobile Version

Hey, i'm new to all this and am planning to buy a HD2 tomorrow.
Just asking, Is there any benefits or disadvantages to buying the T-MOBILE version over the HTC version?
Sorry if this has been asked, i had a look, couldn't find anything
Thanks
I believe the TMO version has more ram, and has Tmo 3g frequencies. Other than that I don't think anything else is different. Uh the talk and end buttons are different too I think.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Both are 576 RAM (takes a x.50.cc radio to enable on Leo and appropriate custom Rom) the tmous hd2 has double the storage (leo-512 mb tmous hd2-1024 mb)

Can't t-mobile hd2 use roms for leo hd2??

I'm about to buy hd2 but a shop only sells t-mobile hd2.
I'm wondering if I can use the roms for leo hd2.
You can use custom roms found here on XDA on a tmobile HD2.

you can use MOST custom roms on the tmous.
@OP the tmous will only take roms that are v 2.x or higher, so that means none of the non tmous stock roms (which include a deadly radio anyway) and no cooked roms that are based on 1.x base roms. Read the roms thread, they generally cleary say that they are tmous compatible, most are.
Oh , thank you for good information
Then, t-mobile one is faster than international one? since it has 1 gb rom and 512 mb ram
I flash whatever ROM I find.... Since the onces that are not cmopatible with th US Version would normally have something like this at the top of the post
DOES NOT WORK ON THE US HD2 or something...
So i'll avoid those.... But it helps to read the entire post, .50 radios are compatible. any other Radio version wont work...
Just a thought.... Most rom are just that...ROMs not a combination of (ROM/Radio) like the ones issued from T-Mobile and HTC
Edit: All the HTC HD2 / LEOs are the Similar in Speed.. The only major difference is the ROM(storage) Spaced Where as the US Version had 1G all the others only have 512MB

You forgot one major factor....
If you live in USA you'll most definitely want the T-Mobile edition anyway because the international version won't give you 3G/HSPA+. That's if you plan on purchasing the data plan.
T-Mobile US 3G/H requires the 1700/2100 Frequency

no, a bigger fuel tank doesn't make a car go faster,,,, morerom just means more storage, not more speed.
