What happened is probably that by upgrading to stock, the phone got reprovisioned for the original carrier, which is Alltel. More than likely, your PRL got replaced by that of Alltel's so all you need to do is to flash the PRL for your carrier, which you will need to find.
Edit: I feel good today, so I will save you the google time. The following page is a fantastic repository of PRL files. search for your carrier in there and download the latest one that suits your needs:

Good luck

I've had a few different ranging from the Wizard to the Hermes and I'm now the proud owner of a Touch Dual - its the original HTC Decice with the standard HTC Rom and Radio.
I've had it for 2 weeks now and I'm more than happy but spent most of last weekend getting my Blackberry Service set up after archiving my Hermes. It took me an age as there was no advice on which version of the Blackberry Connect Software would work as all the ones I had would not connect.
I finally came across RIMs latest offering and at last - all working with no issues!
The version you need is: bbconnect_wm6_pro_4[1].0.0.90
Tried to attach the CAB file directly but no joy??? For those that need it you can download directly from:
http://sems.org/content/download/bbc4/BBConnect_WM6_Professional_BB_4.0.0.91.exe
You'll of course need the blackberry service enabled on your Sim and configure using the desktop manager when connected to your corporate network.
Hope this little snippet helps and that I haven't repeated information available for the Vogue already available?
Now to find out if there is any way to get this to work on the sprint touch. It has no sim card, and I don't think anyone has been able to get it working yet on a CDMA network.
Uhm ... thanks for this Thread!
I have install the BB Connect Client and it works!
I use Austria - A1 Network.
I make a long run test. I hope BB doesnt kick my device after 2 weeks.
Hi guys,
I have recently purchased a Sprint HTC Mogul 6800 on ebay, so this PPC is pretty new to me. I want to know if there's anyway to change the phone settings to Bell or Fido with this phone I have (I am located in Toronto, Canada).
I thought by unlocking and reflashing a new ROM on the phone will solve by problem I have, but seems like this is not working...
FYI, the phone currently has the previous owner information right now, I don't know what to do anymore... =(
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Don
Sprint Mogul
First is Bell and FIDO CDMA or GSM since Sprint is CDMA. Secondly your not going to get very far changing info with out your MSL and that the code that allows you to program or reprogram the phone. You'll have to obtain that from Sprint.
Mogul
Alright I decided to try an answer my own questions. You could potentially use it on Bells network but FIDO is GSM. I also found this post on how to recover your MSL. I havent tried it since I have my MSL. Good Luck

i unlocked my phone...flashed it with nsfans rom, did everything, and its not even activated with sprint.
i was in claro SAc, and switched to VIVA< *only phone company with evdo in DR*
so, i set up my proxy and everything on my vogue, and wen i try to connect it keeps dialing#777 to sprints network.. and wtf how can i remove sprint form my vogue -.- and how can i just use a proxy to conect to the internet?>
EDIT: when i unlocked, i got the defualt wm6 today, then a black box cam,e up and started installing sht...was that the problem? if it was, how do i stop that?
and do i have to unlock again?
NFSans rom currently in use =D sum1 see him tell him he rocks!
PS: im 15.. plz make N00b tutorialz
From what I read, your phone is on VIVA, and not Sprint's network. On top of that you flashed one of NFSFAN's Sprint roms, which do not support the VIVA network, which is why it's connecting to Sprint's network. Do you have a VIVA prepaid? http://www.ldpost.com/recharge-cards/Viva-Prepaid-Wireless-refill-airtime-top-up.html
It says that Viva uses the Verizon network, so what you have to do is flash to a Verizon ROM and it should work. However I am no expert, but from what information I have, this is the best advice I can give you
The download that ran after you flashed were the customizations, perfectly normal
P.S. I don't recommend following my advice and brick your phone x__x I think it'll be better to have a more experienced person respond. But I hope I helped clear out some of your confusions

To get rid of the Dial #777 go to Connections>then click "Manage existing networks", then click the general tab, and click the "Delete this network" button
thats not viva. at least my viva.
my viva is http://viva.com.do
and damn.. i just wanna use internet =(
Ok ive had the P3050 Vogue 100 touch for a while now.
I bought a used Sprint MP6900SP Vogu100 and kinda working - broken touch screen - everything else seems to work.
But my question is can i flash it with a telus rom?
I bought it so i can mess with the windows without wrecking mine.
Or is there a generic rom?
And another question is that it doesnt seem to be able to have a sim card put in, does this mean its locked to Sprint?
CDMA phones are locked to the provider, there is no way around it as the carriers register the Serial numbers and if it isn't in their system they won't add it for you.
As for roms, just grab the telus rom from the htc website, otherwise check the upgrades forum.
Should have done your homework re: switching it onto Telus.
Thanx for the info, tried searching "switching it onto Telus" but could not find anything.
I also bought a new touch screen and its not as clear as the original, do you know if it will clear up or will it stay that way?
And I put my touch screen on the Sprint and everything works on it but the Sprint will not accept anything bigger that a 512 mb microsd card the 1 gb card from my telus doesnt work in the Sprint either but worked in the Telus, is there a problem with the Sprint phones (and i flashed the latest Sprint rom on it)?
I bought a 8 gb microsd for my Telus and works fine.
Thanx D
Ok i think I fixed the microsd problem. - posted a new thread for that.
And i tried searching for fuzzy touch screen and cloudy digitizer and no luck.
Hi all-
My spanking new HD2 just arrived from Oz via a friend that got me one at Telstra and I want to flash a new ROM onto the device. A few things that are not clear to me are:
1. Is the Telstra 9193 locked or unlocked? I inserted my ATT SIM and could make phone calls but no data connection (I imagine one reason I could not get the data connection was due to not having ATT's data connection settings). If anyone could help me figure out if this thing is locked I would appreciate it.
2. If it is locked, should I buy an unlock code and unlock it prior to loading HSPL/cooked ROM or after? I searched the forums and could not find a certain way to proceed.
Thanks all for you help!
if you can make calls and such then it is network unlocked. However that has no relation to the rom being locked or not.(and nor does it need to be network unlocked to flash roms.)
The easy way to test is to go to the htc website, try to download the latest rom (not updates, they will work for everyone) put in your serial number, , , if it doesn't let you then it is provider locked.
Telstra devices are unlocked. They don't lock them to the provider. You just need to run the at&t setting cab found in this forum.
at&t settings:

and read this thread:

Cool; thanks for the link. I installed the CAB but still no luck. At this point, I guess the best option is to move forward with HSPL and a cooked ROM.
Start > Settings > Menu > All Settings > Connections > Connection Setup
If you select United States, it should give you a list of operators. AT&T is listed on my Europe WWE HD2.
That should install the data connection settings for your carrier.
Thanks! I installed a custom ROM and teh HD2 took me throught he connection settings and it automagically configured it for me. It is all good and working like a champ.
Yeah, I best to go w/ a custom ROM; Telstra ROM doesn't really like at&t. Which ROM did you decide to go with?
I went with an Artemis ROM - I think I need to toy around with my radio though as I am getting the occassional drop of data connection. First time WinMo device so it was an interesting process that was more intimadating than complex. Seemed to go pretty smoothly.
kewl. I am also running the Artemis 6.0 WWE ROM (my first time w/ Artemis), it's been pretty good so far. I have been running a few others as well (Dutty's, NRG's, Miri, etc...)
Only issue I have had has been battery drain, I leave palringo running all day. I am currently using radio 2.08, thinking about trying the new 2.09
My battery life has been pretty decent but I am also dropping my data connection on occassion. I spend half my day on conference calls and the battery has performed reasonable well compared to my now retired BlackBerry Bold. I am going to try a new radio in a day or two to see how that does - looks like I will skip 2.08.
