I like the app but I would love it if they could fix the audio sync. I'm using a verizon app on my evo and it streams live tv perfectly. Come on sprint, this is the only thing i'm slightly dissatisfied with.

I'd like to know this as well. I had the NFL app, but yesterday it started saying that I wasn't a Verizon user, and then closed itself.
They also need to make it able to full-screen on the EVO....
Sprint tv is pretty terrible, I don't even bother with it. Live tv and tv.com are both better but I don't watch them much either.

I actually found it .. took a little bit of digging but it works on my EVO.

2. Sprint TV has always been a joke. I recall back when I had a Treo 700p...the audio and video quality is about as good as it is today on my EVO, and that Treo was released in '06, and wasn't Rev-A capable.

I was unaware of sprint canceling nfl.
I read yesterday that NFL mobile is going to Verizon when the draft starts in April.
get Google Scoreboard from market then you will be ok without Sprint NFL. there are plenty nfl app in market. or m.nfl.com on web browser.. Fook Sprint NFL.
but you cant watch the games online. Especially at work. They are also getting Red Zone which is awesome.
do you really think it will take very long for someone to crack that program?

Slingbox is a box that you can connect to your Cable/Directv box and it streams your tv signal to your phone. They haven't made an app for it in Android. I used to use it all the time with my Winmo phone.
Don't freak.. Sprint is replacing it with a program that does the same things. Sprint cannot use NFL name anymore but all the features will be the same.

They are losing money on the plans and dumping all money into Clearwire for 4g rollout.
I know because I work for them... well... just got layed off.. more money to clearwire... dirty bastards.
Oh and cannot afford to sponser the NFL this year.

with the new sprint football app there will be live college and pro games from espn and nbc included in the app on 03-31-2010 if u open up the nfl app it will ask u to download the new app which is going to better than the nfl app because they dont have to get nfl approval to show a game on their phones
Ideas? Don't want to watch the USA match on blocky can't see **** stream that sprint puts out.

Get an OTA (over the air) tuner for your pc and stream it to your device for free using ORB.
Sports can look bad on $1000 televisions when paired with $100/mo TV service...what do you expect with a freakin' phone? haha.
atdhe.net serves me well from time to time. Or you can look into something like myp2pforum and use streamtorrent.

Mine looks fine on 3G, but then again my expectations for live TV streaming on a phone are pretty low.
Im miami sprint tv works perfectely. On my Evo and on my touchpro 2

And you can only do voice chat over WiFi (in the US). Most of the time, that's what I'd be using Skype for, but not always.

Huh? iPhone has had Skype for a long time now. The Verizon deal was only with Android and Blackberry (?).
Pretty useless to me without video chat... thats the only thing I use it for.

Yeah.. if you're forced to use WiFi, you probably have a computer around to video chat anyway. Right now this app is pretty useless. Come on Google.. release mobile Gmail video chat already.
I dont get why they wont just add video to gtalk... that'd make EVERYTHING a ton simpler for all of us.

What's the percentage of people with phones that have front facing cam? Now what's the percentage of people with a desktop/laptop that has a web cam? There's your answer.
I'm hearing rumblings that Skype for mobile is STILL exclusive to Verizon. They get 3G/WiFi Skype, the rest of us get WiFi.

if you can put up with the low quality Qik has a desktop client now, Mochiva is also pretty low quality but they have a desktop client, it really is a pain to not have skype going, they announced some new feature that allows a HUGE amount of multicam chat, i forget the number i think they claim 30? anyways its crazy, i know a few programs have multiple cam chat but ive always stuck with skype

I haven't tried making a call yet on 3G so are you saying that its not supported on the EVO over 3G? It does say its not supported on the Samsung Galaxy S, but no where says anything about EVO.

It sucks its just WiFi. I am using the Skype Beta Lite that allows to use on 3G.

why dont you just stream the site from the browser? evo plays flash just fine
the app does stream live. you can also find the app for free online. and no i won't say where but it is not hard to find. google is your friend.

At Bat streams now? It must have recently changed. The Android version did not stream throughout the entire season, but the Apple version did have live streaming.
EDIT: Ah, I see version 2.0 allows for the Postseason.TV streams. Makes sense since it was an extra $10 for the Postseason.TV subscription.
