Omnia 2 ,front button - Omnia II General

Good evening, Does Anybody know how to set the button so as to block lock and unlock the OMNIA 2;; thanks

Is simply, in configuration->general->button you can set button function. Here you can change button1 function to lock, if you no find the lock command, you can use other program like SPB Mobile shell, this include a link to lock and you can set this to the button1. Maybe can find the lock windows aplication on other site like windows folder, I don't now.

Long Press End Key - Help Please

Hi All, I've just upgraded my Touch to a diamond and I'm now looking to make it a bit more useable for me.
I like the long press end key function and use it often - I find it slightly annoying though that I have to push it for about 3 seconds before anything happens.
Do any of you know a way to change the time needed to activate this? Ideally I would like it after a second or something.
Thanks for your help
If you use SPB Pocket plus you can then assign icon type shortcuts to the today screen.
Install pocket plus and then use it to assign a shortcut to program called " End Key" located in the windows directory.
After you have done this you can then just press this icon and everything happens in about 1 second rather than the 3 second wait.
Hope it helps

Auto lock Pure after timeout without pin?

Hi all, happy New Year!
New to this forum and the Pure and have some questions.
I can't seem to find out how to do this with the phone. I want it to go to a home screen that shows time/date or something like that, after a period of time. In the windows app list I can press the lock button and it gets me to something acceptable, so I thought that might be an option. All settings for the lock require a PIN and I don't want to mess with that (at least right now).
Is this possible?
Another question, is it possible to integrate the installed apps into Manila, rather than having to go to the programs list? (Makes me feel like it's the main folder in Windows 3.x )
Is there a way I can back up the default configuration (ROM, etc) of the phone so if I hack it up too bad I can restore it?
Thanks for any help, still learning how to tweak this thing...

For the autolock change this register value
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\BackLight\AutoDeviceLockEnable; from 0 to 1
You can use total commander its freeware
No! but if you flash ROM with manilla 2.5 you can have up to 20 shortcuts on home screen with mods
Another option for the screen lock is to get csdevctrl:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386451
You can have it autolock the screen after time, or if you press the power button. As for the programs, you can add more shortcuts with this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=572232
Thanks guys!
I will look into both options.
Now to figure out how to get programs down to it and edit the registry!

Device Lock Shortcut

Couldnt find this on the search...
I was wondering how to add a shortcut to device lock on the home screen like on the Energy Series Rom.
Thanks!
Jon
Found an exe on here called "LockScreen.exe". That does the trick.
Also found "DeviceLock.exe" but that was erroring on unlock.

Disable End Key Lock

I've been scouring the forums with no luck so far, I need a way to disable the lock that is attached to a short press of the End Key on my Touch 2's.
Reg Tweak, app any suggestions welcome, its causing me quite a problem, I want to roll these out for a corporate app and the kiosk I use is not blocking this operation.
Cheers - Sam

if you search by google you can find solution. For this time i write solution but in future search first with google or in this forum with search tools
For disable lockscreen you can modify this
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\LockScreen:Enable "0"
You can use ceregedit (with pc) or PHM registry editor

lockscreen dll?
I think that the function is given by dll lockscreen.dll. Tonight I try to replace it and see what happens. We'll let you know later.
hi, I was trying some software in my Touch and I got myself into situation where my phone did not lock up after pressing "power off" button but I was still able to lock the screen using Lock software button/icon. It was simply result of installing S2U2 and configuring it as default lockscreen.
If you perform these steps only known way to return to default state is hard reset!
Install S2U2.
right after installation goto start menu > directory s2u2 > click on S2U2 and it should se itself.
Uninstalll S2U2
in settings > lock set your default lock screen

Well you can recover the original lock screen and everything by downloading this file http://acs2.mstreme.com/download/RestoreWM65DeviceLock.cab.
For more info check s2u2's FAQ, under WM 6.5, "Q. How to restore the WM6.5 built-in lock?", here http://67.43.3.117/~acs2co/S2U2-faq.html
disable in WM6.5 the Key Lock / Keylock at Standby
I find a possibility to deactivate the Key lock in standby at Windows Mobile 6.5 :
with this registry key:
Add a new "DWORD" value
in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Keybd
Name: DeviceLockWhenSuspend
Value: 0
after this take a softreset and have fun

Lock Screen Applications

Ok, I'm running Windows Mobile 6.1 on my SCH-i750, and I have SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.1 installed. I'm trying to find an unlock application that doesn't 'emulate' iPhone or Android, so no S2U2 or ThrottleLock. Perhaps just an elegant key-code app, or a "rotate to unlock" or something. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
Why not use the default keycode lock under Settings -> Personal -> Lock?
AFAIK it's the only one that You can not bypass (not so easily ayway).
P.S. And it's "lock screen" app, not "unlock" app
The reason I don't use the default screen is because it's just really.... bland in Winmo 6.1
Try mlock or sunscape or roll2unlock
