Couldnt find this on the search...
I was wondering how to add a shortcut to device lock on the home screen like on the Energy Series Rom.
Thanks!
Jon
Found an exe on here called "LockScreen.exe". That does the trick.
Also found "DeviceLock.exe" but that was erroring on unlock.

Hello everyone, I am trying to create a link on my today screen to the screen alignment program. But I was wondering what the name of the program is called. Was looking through /windows and cannot find it.
I know it's not exactly what you are looking for, but when I had this problem, I would use the button shortcut, which is to press D pad and messages button simultaneously, and that brings you straight to the screen alignment function and then goes back to where you were.
I don't think you make a shortcut to it, it's an API call. If you're desperate for an app I could probably write one to launch it for you.

I am not that desperate for an app. I just wanted something similar to what is present in Ilauncher. But removed Ilauncher because my today screen is way too cluttered. Nevermind, I will find something else. Thanks anyway.
FYI I wrote VJCalibrula to disable the hardware key shortcut to the calibration app. You probably don't need a dedicated shortcut when we've already got a dedicated hardware shortcut.

I'm trying to find the Application, .lnk or shortcut on my 8125 that controls the Lock / unlock on the phone. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Looked here: http://www.xs4all.nl/~itsme/projects/xda/xda-controlpanel.html but didn't see it listed.
Thanks in advance!
So... No one knows where the .exe is located in the 8125's system to operate the screen lock / unlock?
DeviceLock
don't know where the original application is located, but you can find a tool to lock your device here on xda, it's doing exactly what you need
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=305402&highlight=DeviceLock.zip
Use S2U2 0.95 along with Resco Explorer Home Plugin for creating the shortcut to it!
Thanks guys. What I was hoping to do was to utilize claunch and place a link for the lock / unlock on the screen doing away with the small lock that comes standard on the unit.
I'll have a look at what you all posted.
Thanks!
I use Chronos (a clock program) as my screensaver. I also use Spb PocketPlus for my home screen rather than the stock HTC home screen.
I'm trying to find the command in the software that invokes the screensaver so I can put a link to it on my home screen. I cannot find anything that works in the Windows folder (like scrnsaver in XP).
I also use TweakHD, but can't find anything in there.
Anybody know where this might be found? If I activate to the chronos.exe file, it brings up the full program with the settings indicator, etc. so that I can't dismiss it just by touching it. That's why I'm trying to find the command within the OS that invokes the screensaver.
Thanks.

screensaving with pdas means switching off the screen. you will not have much fun with a device that is switched on all the time, because your battery will be drained in less than a day. so thereĀ“s no switch to use to activate a screensaver like at your computer at home
Hi all, happy New Year!
New to this forum and the Pure and have some questions.
I can't seem to find out how to do this with the phone. I want it to go to a home screen that shows time/date or something like that, after a period of time. In the windows app list I can press the lock button and it gets me to something acceptable, so I thought that might be an option. All settings for the lock require a PIN and I don't want to mess with that (at least right now).
Is this possible?
Another question, is it possible to integrate the installed apps into Manila, rather than having to go to the programs list? (Makes me feel like it's the main folder in Windows 3.x )
Is there a way I can back up the default configuration (ROM, etc) of the phone so if I hack it up too bad I can restore it?
Thanks for any help, still learning how to tweak this thing...

For the autolock change this register value
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\BackLight\AutoDeviceLockEnable; from 0 to 1
You can use total commander its freeware
No! but if you flash ROM with manilla 2.5 you can have up to 20 shortcuts on home screen with mods
Another option for the screen lock is to get csdevctrl:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386451
You can have it autolock the screen after time, or if you press the power button. As for the programs, you can add more shortcuts with this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=572232
Thanks guys!
I will look into both options.
Now to figure out how to get programs down to it and edit the registry!
I've been scouring the forums with no luck so far, I need a way to disable the lock that is attached to a short press of the End Key on my Touch 2's.
Reg Tweak, app any suggestions welcome, its causing me quite a problem, I want to roll these out for a corporate app and the kiosk I use is not blocking this operation.
Cheers - Sam
i m also searching for the same solution , any help ?
if you search by google you can find solution. For this time i write solution but in future search first with google or in this forum with search tools
For disable lockscreen you can modify this
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\LockScreen:Enable "0"
You can use ceregedit (with pc) or PHM registry editor

Dude,
I've tried doin that but all u're gonna do is invoke the old lockscreen from previous WM version... I think what the other guy wants is totally no lockscreen at all =)
yep
tried that, we really need the lock and screenlock removing so this button does nothing at all
lockscreen dll?
I think that the function is given by dll lockscreen.dll. Tonight I try to replace it and see what happens. We'll let you know later.
hi, I was trying some software in my Touch and I got myself into situation where my phone did not lock up after pressing "power off" button but I was still able to lock the screen using Lock software button/icon. It was simply result of installing S2U2 and configuring it as default lockscreen.
If you perform these steps only known way to return to default state is hard reset!
Install S2U2.
right after installation goto start menu > directory s2u2 > click on S2U2 and it should se itself.
Uninstalll S2U2
in settings > lock set your default lock screen

Well you can recover the original lock screen and everything by downloading this file http://acs2.mstreme.com/download/RestoreWM65DeviceLock.cab.
For more info check s2u2's FAQ, under WM 6.5, "Q. How to restore the WM6.5 built-in lock?", here http://67.43.3.117/~acs2co/S2U2-faq.html
disable in WM6.5 the Key Lock / Keylock at Standby
I find a possibility to deactivate the Key lock in standby at Windows Mobile 6.5 :
with this registry key:
Add a new "DWORD" value
in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Keybd
Name: DeviceLockWhenSuspend
Value: 0
after this take a softreset and have fun
