ok so if you want to transfer contacts from your windows mobile to this device .. using microsoft syncroniser copy all ur contacts to ur pc and then you can transfer the contacts to ur device using kies (in kies there is an phone book app)..
i would recommend you to create an account in gmail... and copy all ur contacts to ur gmail account..and from ur device settings-->accounts and sync add ur gmail account. all the contacts are automatically synchronized with ur device

format not supported, you can't do a direct contact sharing between WinMo and Android
here's a way to transfer your contacts via email from your windows phone to android phone:
download "vcard expert" onto your windows phone and use it to send your contacts via email. open your email on your android phone and you can import the contacts straight into your address book.
Ok thank you

Is there any way to send SMS from Pocket PC or Outlook by email.Any software or site for that
what do you mean ?
you can send sms to a phone
you can send a email to an email account
if you want to send a sms to a email accound you need your operator to support that and most likely pay for it
and virsa versa
Try:
http://www.cellular.co.za/email_to_sms_gateways.htm for a selection, but I have found a catch will all of the free ones.
Hello !
I am using Windows Mobile 5 on my Pocket PC, with GPRS E-Mail POP3 receiving/sending via outlook mobile.
Every email I send is stored in the “Sent” folder of the mobile device outlook mobile.
However, the problem is, that I then DO NOT have this sent message on my laptop, which I really need when continuing the work from my laptop.
My idea:
I would like ALL messages I send out (or answer) from my WM5 Outlook device, to be automatically BCCd to my Laptop e-mail account.
In my laptop I can make a filter rule, moving this incoming message(s) from my Mobile E-Mail account automatically into the Laptop E-Mail “sent” folder.
However, I cannot make a rule for outlook mobile to automatically send all outgoing mails to a BCC Address as well.
Does anybody have an idea how to achieve this ?
Or maybe: Is there an WM5 mail client which can achieve that ?
Thank you
Hello,
I am now back with WM5 as I need Video Call...
Okay, lets to the point.
I've been configuring Gmail account on my windows mobile outlook. But I am not yet downloading the messages because it is very large (even I receive headers only but It will take long time)
Now the problem, when I need to send mail from Outlook Mobile quickly, the Send Receive command on Outlook always receiving first. So I must waaaiiittttttt loooooooooooong time before the message sent.
Question : How to make the Outlook Mobile behavior is sending first, and then receive ?
Thanks

Do you really mean emailing a business card or do you mean how to send a business card? If the latter then see page 101 of the English version of the manual.

lol just take a picture and send it as an atached jpg file.
Or even easier just input your signature on the email, or send them by sms
The question is about emailing contacts as vcards so that they can be added to recipients' contacts in Outlook. SMS, jpg screenshots and other silly options like that are not suitable in many cases. I certainly don't want to send vcards as MMS attachments to business contacts.

I have faced the same issue and could not find a way to send Vcards trough PPC outlook.
However I found way go arround. I have exported all my contacts on my Desktop in Vcard format and save them in a folder (i.e Vcards) in my PPC's memory card.
On my PPC I use Resco explorer, when I need to send a Vcard I open the Vcard folder in my memory card and click send by email.
hope it helps you. cheers
If you've set up the "Me" contact correctly, just go into your "all people" list and click the arrow in your me item.
I don't use this, but is that what you're referring to?
nope this isn't it anyway thanks for the info guys... I hope someone out there knows >.< or maybe it isn't in the feature of this phone................
vCard Expert available from windows phone marketplace let me save all my phone contacts into a single vcard vcf file. Runs fine on my windows mobile 6.5 HD2.
Then i used my gmail account to send that file as an attachment. Also used the program to generate multiple vcf files to use with Outlook.
I'm using a workaround for this.
1st/ start a send vcard (MMS)
2nd/ the card is stored in folder /temp. Filename seems always to be 'me.vcf'
3rd/ attach it to a normal email using whatever kind of file explorer !!
Any kind of better solution is welcomed !!
I am synchronized my Contact to both Sony Sync and Microsoft My Phone for backup and I deleted all my Contact on SIM. First, I edit and delete all duplicates phone numbers and using Microsoft My Phone to sync all contact number to my phone. Second, but I only received empty number on Microsoft My Phone web account (I prefer that the copy all empty contact on my phone to web acc) so only once place on Sony Sync. I afraid that when I sync and my account on web Sony empty again, but I can export all contacts to Vcard file (format .vcf).
I do not know how to restore my contact from Sony Sync to my phone from Vcard file (.vcf). Any idea help me solve this serious problem?
Thanks so much!!!
