This is a captured screen from the serial Moonlight, s01e03. I guess it's iPhone, but it LOOKS just like A_C's S2U2. So I guess it's either A_C made a damn perfect copy of it (I dont know how exactly it looks on an iPhone), or this really is his S2U2 .
Smile man, you're famous ))))))
yea S2U2 made it to look like the iphone, no surprise the real iphone should look like it, haha.
He is chinese
I'm not so sure it is an iPhone you know. The notch towards the top if the device looks more like the one on the Polaris - the iphone has a similar cut out area but it's about half way between the top of the screen and the top of the device whereas this one looks to be almost right at the top.
(Can't believe I'm entering this debate - I really must try to get out more but the nurses are still worried I'll hurt myself!)

The notch you see is from a rubber protection case for the iphone I think.
My bet, this is just an iPhone and I don't get what this topic is all about.
It's for fun, nothing serious. Sorry if this is the wrong section.
It IS an iPhone.
Just so you know, A_C designed the Slide 2 Unlock/S2U/S2U2 as a WM replica of the iPhone device lock app. iPhone is the original, A_C just made a very nice WM version of it, not the other way around.
It is a real iPhone.
Hello!
Some time ago i asked about the Ocarina on the Iphone and if that was a possibility.
And now that i know that the Diamond dont have multi touch i was thinking of something else.
It works kinda like the ocarina, you blow in the microphone. But!
On the screen. You can grab a slider and slide it forwards for a higher pitch and the other way for a lower.
It would be great and really funny if someone could make this!

i thinks thats twice as ugly as the G1
Yikes! 4 row keyboard, 240x320 res, chin just empty, looks like it doesn't have a trackball either. Although the red accents on the keyboard for the symbols is cool looking.
Only way it could look worse was if it had the keyboard color scheme from this

I never thought the G1 was ugly...

yea, buts its pretty cool how that touch pro 2 has a seperate number pad, like a desktop, might give some people a homey feeling.
Actually, personally I thought the Lancaster looked very attractive, very sleek and smooth unlike the boxy G1. However, the feature set and specs on that thing, are terribly ugly. Tiny screen, no auto-focus, mediocre screen resolution, and no trackball? Maybe they have a capacitive mouse pad in place of the trackball like on the Helio Ocean 2.

Thats how I felt, although I like the way the G1 looks (gotten used to). Kind of like wow look at this hot chick, I could see myself with her, etc, etc. Then she opens her mouth and it is a pile of sad. That is what the lancaster is to me, nice shell but the inside just kills it for me and makes it unattractive. Now give me a mediocre phone with good insides and you have my G1.
If they price it as an entry level phone (i.e. free or no more than $50 with contract), it could do very well and put android in a lot of people's hands.
AT&T? TRADERS!!!!!!!! lol i think its kinda HAWT Ive always liked the G1. people just ***** because its not as attractive as its competitors but Ive always liked HTC Hardware
I've always found the g1 to be quite smexy xD
I think that phone looks good, but I wouldn't get it due to lackluster specs.
Also, I have loved the G1 since it came out. Maybe I like it because it's quirky and ugly. Still, I think it looks great.
I would rather see a row of number keys on the keyboard. I like the G1's chin, protects the screen if you were to drop it
sarcasm or serious?
i think that phone is sexy, will trade with my G1!
I like it. Bad part it is ATT.
Just started playing around with my Nexus 7 and found that the screen isn't very nice to swipe. Compared to my Note its comparatively rough/sticky.
My finger just doesn't always glide well along the screen.
I also find that a lot of dust is attracted to the device. It settles down where my finger residue is left....
Its getting very annoying.

If you don't want a screen protector, or even with one, try Klear Screen https://www.klearscreen.com/
Is this normal for the Nexus 7?
I might return mine if so. It just feels horrible/unusable.
I find that my device is much smoother than my Galaxy Nexus. I find it much easier to play action games because of it.

once u use it for a week you should notice it start to smooth out from the oils in your skin . in one week you'll be like WOW
Finger residue also shows up like crazy on a white background like on here. Is there no oleophobic coating?

This is what I found too. It seems to have a coating on it initially that wears off pretty quick. Mine was nice and smooth after a few hours.

Jesus wept.
It works better when your finger isn't covered in boogers.
Does the Nexus 7 have an oleophobic coating?
Constantly wiping the device to get rid of the rainbow effect is annoying.

You got me laughing. Good one. My screen very responsive and fast. Nothing is slow on the nexus 7.
No "rainbow effect" here on the screen, the screen is smooth (I think) and there's no more finger residue than there would be on any device.
Ok So this is the thread where you come to talk about the build quality of the 5X and any issues/defects you discover with your device. Since it seems like devices will be shipping soon I thought I'd get this thread started. More info will be added to this OP as people report things.. stay tuned..
Hopefully this thread doesn't get used much
LG is known to use plastics that can crack in weird places but I'm hoping none of those issues are present

Oh it will.. All the OCD people will flood to it with every little thing.. I know I use to be one of them.. haha I stopped reading threads like this because they would make me notice things I never would have noticed before and would have been in ignorant bliss if I did not read the thread.. haha With the N5 I thought mine was solid, until I read a similar thread on it and found my volume buttons rattled when you tapped the top right of the screen.. It didn't bother me and I didn't notice it much... Until I read one of these threads.. haha

Yeah...lol. Right near the volume key and the headphone jack on my Nexus 5. At least my screen was and still is perfect.
Zero issues found (so far anyway)
Build quality is excellent, even gaps between screen/chassis and buttons, no backlight bleed. Buttons feel solid and don't wobble and no creaking or flex in the phone. Slight softness on the back cover but I doubt this could be classed as a build issue.
Certainly feels like a quality device and not something just chucked together.

Its plastic, just feels like there is a little "give" in the middle. Hand feel is pretty similar to the n5, maybe a little less grippy.

Idk if you held a Moto X 2014, but is it something like that? There was a little "give" if pushed hard enough (really hard actually)

Since you didn't hold one, based on pictures of the plastic backing of the Moto X 2014, is it something like that? I think that's the best comparison phone I can think of when it comes to the type of plastic

Hmm, is the back ploycarbonate? Is it also smooth to touch or has some grippy substance to it like the black Nexus 5? Idk how else to explain it.
edit: I saw in a previous post you answered the question. You can disregard mine or answer if you like

im going to assume the back is like the nexus 5 and will be soft touch. that's what i love about my moto g 2015, the rigid back cover. the only concern i have is that protruding camera hump.
A guy over on AC posted some thoughts.
http://forums.androidcentral.com/nexus-5x/595823-mine-has-just-been-delivered-4.html#post4756602
"Just had mine delivered a day early, too. Great stuff.
Here's some quick thoughts (hope OP doesn't mind a small hijack):
1. I got the black one - the material is soft to touch, but not in the same way the original N5 was. The N5 had a grippy kind of feel - this material feels more solid, but silky smooth to the touch. I like it. The edge material is the same as the rear material too.
2. The gap between the glass and frame seems a lot tighter this time - I'm hopeful that there won't be as much dirt finding its way into that area as with the N5, for those of us who don't use cases.
3. The dimensions are lovely. I've come from a Nexus 6 and this just feels so much nicer to hold. Slim and light are the words that fit best.
4. Nice to be back on an IPS too - I prefer the more muted colours. It is as good as the N5 screen. The increase to 5.2" doesn't have any impact on the sharpness as far as I can tell.
5. The buttons protrude a nice distance and have a good clicky feel to them. They don't feel as sharp around the edges as they did on the N5. Small amount of rattle if that sort of thing bothers you.
6. The Nexus logo is printed instead of being inlaid. The logo and fingerprint scanner ring are a dark grey (graphite?) colour.
7. The fingerprint scanner is fast and reliable. It gives a single vibration for a successful attempt and a double for a failed attempt. Just touch the scanner to activate the phone.
8. Camera opens quickly and the auto-focus seems reliable and rapid. Haven't got much more to say about the camera yet.
9. The OS feels slightly slower than 5.1.1 on the N6. Very smooth, but more delibrately paced, if that makes sense. I wonder if that's more Marshmallow than the hardware - particularly as this benchmarks in the same region as last year's N6.
10. Ambient display seems to work at least as well as my N6 - although it's early days still.
That's all I have for now. It's a good start though and exactly the phone I wanted last year."
Now that devices are shipping and people are getting them.. Post your observations about build quality
Hi
Build quality seems good, nothing to report of a negative nature.
Regards
Phil
About N5. I got mine ran over by a Kart. Broke the screen, replaced it. Months later happened something similar, this time the LCD even cracked (guess it was a fake spare). Just to give you an idea of the treatment.
Not one plastic crack!

Are the speaker grille things hard plastic? Is it durable? It looks like it can be easy to break if pressed or similar
edit: I am worried that it can be pushed in if it gets hit or it can pop off
