Some time ago I raised this problem in connection with my TyTN II and got no real response.
As exactly the same problem affects the Touch HD I thought I would ask again here.
If an email with an attachment is received from a POP3 mail server it is only possible to see the attachment if the email was sent in Text format. If the email was sent in HTML format the attachment although downloaded remains invisible.
Essentially if an email with an attachment is received via POP3 in Text Format then both the message and the attachment are received by the Touch HD and the attachment can be opened by clicking on the link in the message.
However, if the same email is sent in HTML Format the message and the attachment are again received by the TyTN but there is no link to the attachment in the message and it cannot be opened.
If the same emails are collected from Outlook via ActiveSync all the attachments are visible and can be opened irrespective of whether the email is in Text or HTML Format. Likewise if one uses an alternative mail program such as Flexmail the attachments can all be seen.
To make matters worse it seems as though the "hidden" attachments are saved with the message on the device itself rather than on the Storage card so could rapidly eat up the available memory.
I therefore wondered if anyone had found a solution to the problem.
Many thanks
Hi guys,
I have the HD2 and I set it with 2 differents accounts settings.
1st Account : my company settings in POP
2nd Account : my company settings in IMAP
From my computer, I send email to these accounts with attached a pdf file and on the email body, 3 inserted pictures (2photos and 1 pic into the signature)
In the POP account, I could access to the attached PDF file but I could not see the inserted pics.
In the IMAP account, I could see the inserted pics but not the attached pdf file.
This is very annoying as I will use the HD2 for business purpose, I have very often emails with photos inserted + word or pdf files attached...
I sent the same email to IPHONE and I could get the email with all attached files and inserted pics perfectly
Do you think that this problem is coming from wm6.5 or from the Phone ??
Pocket outlook cannot manage multi attachment
On the IMAP settings, I have set download full mail and all attachments.
On the POP, download the full email.
I realized as well that if I remove the inserted pics, I can see the attached pdf file on the IMAP account.
is someone getting the same issue ???
help please... important... in the model HTC HD2, how to email business cards from your phone??
Do you really mean emailing a business card or do you mean how to send a business card? If the latter then see page 101 of the English version of the manual.

lol just take a picture and send it as an atached jpg file.
Or even easier just input your signature on the email, or send them by sms
The question is about emailing contacts as vcards so that they can be added to recipients' contacts in Outlook. SMS, jpg screenshots and other silly options like that are not suitable in many cases. I certainly don't want to send vcards as MMS attachments to business contacts.

I have faced the same issue and could not find a way to send Vcards trough PPC outlook.
However I found way go arround. I have exported all my contacts on my Desktop in Vcard format and save them in a folder (i.e Vcards) in my PPC's memory card.
On my PPC I use Resco explorer, when I need to send a Vcard I open the Vcard folder in my memory card and click send by email.
hope it helps you. cheers
If you've set up the "Me" contact correctly, just go into your "all people" list and click the arrow in your me item.
I don't use this, but is that what you're referring to?
nope this isn't it anyway thanks for the info guys... I hope someone out there knows >.< or maybe it isn't in the feature of this phone................
vCard Expert available from windows phone marketplace let me save all my phone contacts into a single vcard vcf file. Runs fine on my windows mobile 6.5 HD2.
Then i used my gmail account to send that file as an attachment. Also used the program to generate multiple vcf files to use with Outlook.
I'm using a workaround for this.
1st/ start a send vcard (MMS)
2nd/ the card is stored in folder /temp. Filename seems always to be 'me.vcf'
3rd/ attach it to a normal email using whatever kind of file explorer !!
Any kind of better solution is welcomed !!
Hi There!
I am trying to find an Application that will allow me to view, delete and send sms messages from my PC.
Thanks in advance.
I Use Jeyo Mobile Extender and Outlook. It allows you manage SMS messages like emails when the phone is connected using ActiveSync
