Hi
Is there any way of restoring the default android dialler and contacts applications. They seem to be on the phone as helix shows them. The default Sony ericcson ones seem so long winded.

Hi,
I'm looking for an app that lets me message directly from the contacts list, i.e have a mail or call icon next to the entry.
Any ideas?
From your phonebook/contacts list long press the desired contact and it will bring up a menu. It gives you the option to send a sms from there.

There's also an app called call dock bar which is a widget that can hold 4 contacts of ur choice with easy access to callin/textin/mailin. There waz another app that allowed more contacts bt i cant remember the name.. i dint like the UI on that one though.

My mss picture viewing is really blurry. Is there a way I can enhance the picture view in MSS?
It might be your operator ask them about mms

A bit more info will be of great help.
FW version, service provider, mms app will all be helpful.
MMS viewing
I am using Xperia X10i, Droid 2.1.. Using with Tmobile-USA. I am not using any MSS app or anything. Straight thru the Messesing. I can send & Received, but when I try to view the images, it's so blury..
Thank you,
It's a TMO USA issue. They don't recognize the phone as it isn't listed in their database and the image defaults to 120x160.
I've tried to 'fix' the default mms app by decompiling it and recompiling after changing some settings but haven't had any luck. I've found that GO SMS Pro (free from the market and can replace the default messaging app) will allow 640x480 images. I've also tried the default 2.1 Cyanogenmod mms apk and was able to receive something like 2048x1536 sized images but the app looks pretty ugly as none of the contact pictures show up.
Never used a Sony device. Curious if the messaging app on the Z2 has the ability to share contact vcards via SMS/MMS. Can anyone comment?
70 views and not one person can fire up their messaging app and see if you can share a contact?
I haven't got z2 but i am using porting xperia z2 Custom rom. Do you mean that? Sorry for my english

Perfect. Thanks a bunch
Yes, you can. In contacts there is an option "Send Contact" and it attaches .vcf file. You can send it with: BT, email, text and etc.
Hope that answer your question.
It does. Thanks.
Hi guys, I've searched XDA for Xperia Messaging app for other devices. I've found some threads, but unfortunately none of them is getting installed. I just wanted to ask that is it possible to port Messaging App to Note 3. If not then is there a way to get Smileys (Emoticon) on stock message app of Samsung.
I don't need emoji as they turned out my message into an MMS.
It's not possible because the Sony messaging app requires the timescape framework
But, Sony stop using timescape in Jelly Bean and KitKat
