Customize CommManagerRes.dll and PIN-Pad

Hi everybody,
at this time i am cooking my own slim and fast rom with all tools i need and a clean outfit.
Now i want to edit the commmanagerres.dll with an resource-editor to change the bachground of the commmanager. i have replaced the original-background file and saved it. i have replaced the dll on the device but it doesnt open the commmanager then or only shows the softkey-buttons from commmanager ans transparent background or makes some other displayerrors.
how can i fix this problem ? Can anbody helb me with this problem or fix it for me (dll and backgroundfiles in the attached zip and explain how to do) ?
i also want to change the Background of the PIN-Pad at boottime to enter the pincode - which dll is to change for this ?
if i have the rom finished i will puplish it for anybody.

You can download & install this CAB FILE for fix this problem.
I use this method for my new ROM. [XARA Edition Version 1.0]
After install this CAB file, please SOFT-RESET your device.

It's a good idea by provoking the BlockTime to 0,
Sure most ROM will be provoked.
But I think changing the registry is alright.

[Q] I can't see scyscape contenet

I installed scyscape on my hd2 mini, the icon is there and when i open it i can see only the contents and the index,but when i open any page it is empty
any ideas??

I have the same problem with a program called UPTODATE 18.2!
isn't it like a problem which we have with computers? I think by having some dll files or installing some programs like flash player or quicktime it would be resolved!

I've just found the solution...
I did a hard reset and then installed the uptodate and found the program works fine! Then I installed another program which adds a keyboard (arabic keyboard) and actually it was a program for adding a new language called multilanguage....
after the installation I saw that the uptodate has the old problem. So I made another hard reset and it works fine by now ;-)
The problem is probably related to such as these applications (programs related to language unicodes and scripts and maybe fonts!)
Wish you make it work and SORRY 4 bad english ;-)

I have just foundout the solusion yesterday, i made hard reset and reinstalled the uptodate and skyscape and the worked fine, but when I installed that multilang. Support as u said the problem s there again.
Here s the solusion:
After installing the programs for supporting Arabic (3 prog)
-restart the device
-Go to setting that in the bottom bar then press menu-all settings- and click on system
- then click the icon of the multilingual when it s opened check the box beside ”disable multilingual suppor
Restart the HD mini and the uptodate will work ok
I now need a big favor I need the source of the pda of the uptodate 18.2 caz I only have the old one
It ll be great if you can help

I don't know if arabic is working after disabling the multilanguage or not , please let me know!

Hi guys
I just made a rom by using pajerm's kitchen
well, its included some useful applications and stuff like that
its fast and light, no bug found yet
BUT i still have some problem since its my first rom =P
1) its name is still Pajerm (SOLVED)
2) I dont know why but I cant change the manila theme ( or actually edit it ) (SOLVED)
3) I cant make it vibrate on call :O (SOLVED)
4) USB pop up doesnt work (SOLVED)
5) I cant make xTask work :/
I guess the priority is theme ! if anyone can help, will be highly appreciated

I just did whatever monfro told pajerm to do
btw i had no chance to test my rom !it has an error which it doesnt let me to work ! not even let me install another rom :|
its killing me -.-

whenever i try to install a new rom, my opal restart and connection between PC and Phone is lost :|
what can i do now ?

i need to remove my current rom on my opal, but it seems i cant

try to update rom by sdcsrd (put opalimg.nbh in the root of your sdcard and boot your opal with volume down key pressed)

it went to a screen which has 4 color ( red blue green and white) and stopped there

format the sdcard to fat32, than rename your rom to opalimg.nbh and put it in your sdcard, now start your opal with volume-down key pressed

how to restart device after HTC startup complete?

I am building my custom rom, I want my device to restart when the HTC startup configuration is finished and the finish button pressed.
Any body know how to do this?
also I want to khow how to cook mortscript in to my rom, any documentation? , as I have cooked it in to my rom but it doesn't worked .

firstly attatched is the folder of mortscript from my sys folder in my kitchen (latest version) so delete the version you have and add this version (defo works )
secondly could you explain what you meen by:

btw your best bet for any mortscript is to ask RoryB at the mortscript examples thread here (he has helped me out a lot with scripts)

If using RunCC package change this line in the app.reg from this "ResetDevice"=dword:00000000 to this "ResetDevice"=dword:00000001

btw - i had a problem cooking the mortscript EXT into my rom, duno why coz the packsage was perfect.. but that version i gave you there in the attatchment, i had no problems with, it worked first time..
btw, im getting better with the scripts now so if you need help, just give me a PM
