New Bootscreens and aSplashscreen for Diamond

Here are some bootscreens and a splashscreen (for this you must have Unsigned Hard SPL from Olinex or someone other on your device) for your diamond. Download the boot.rar, there is a flash-tool inside for the splash-screen. The welcomehead must be copied in windows.´If you use the welcomehead for the Gold-Theme, please rename it in welcomehead.192.png, before you copy it to windows. After a reboot you see the changes.

hello sir .. i have a problem with this splash screen which i bought my diamond
from a cell company .. and the logo of this company starts in the splash/boot screen .. and i want to remove it and i dont know how ?!?!?
to clear everything to you .. when i start my diamond .. first this show up (( HTC Touch Diamond )) logo .. then the company logo (( AirTel )) then .. (( Windows Mobile 6.1 ))
i just want to remove this annoying logo of (( AirTel )) could you tell me how ??
or could anyone tell me how ?

Hello Sir. I also have a problem with my Diamond. I installed these bootscreens and after 3 or 4 hardresets and installing a new ROM they are crap. Except the one with the guy and the not-kitchy diamonds on top. Please help me I have searched everywhere I even read the stickies.

You have to flash at first Unsigned Hard SPL from Olinex (1.40 or 1.93...depending to your diamond. Here you can find the tools. After this you can create your own splash-screens or take some out of this forum. The third screen is named welcomehead.192.png. It´s a graphic with 640x640 pixel. You have to copy it in windows. If you have downloaded my files, there are this files inside.
Edit: I didn´t read right...at this time i don´t know a way to change the 2nd screen... in original roms it´s the htc animation. Maybe, if you flash a rom, this screen would be changed in the same way.
Note: Don´t use the exe-tool, if you hadn´t flashed Hard SPL before.

This is only an example, how you can brand your phone with a picture of yourself. It´s me on the pic....don´t worry. Thieves will be angry about this, because they will be always remembered to the owner

What are you doing? Why do you make so often a hard reset? I posted this yesterday, and you reset since this 4 times? Read the posts before.... If you flash new roms, maybe there were splash-screens inside. I flashed yesterday two roms, and my splash-screen is like it was before. Why did you copy my photo on your diamond? It was only an example Try to flash again, if there are problems.

The actual file in windows is the file out of the rom. If you copy the welcomehead to windows with total commander, normaly there is no problem. Otherwise you can try, to unmark read only and copy after this your new file to windows. I am doing this since many years, before on my prophet and other pda´s. After reboot you have your new bootscreen.

strange problem in elf help

i update my mobile to windows 6.1 it work good for me more then 6 months but now a days it has problame is i cant dial number its like keypad button are conflicting and if i want to open any folder i cant do that if i open my phone pad it directly goes to voicemail i cant open any thing it continues switching between 2 programme icon or to file icon can any body help me to solve this my mobile is out of warrnty now and service center guy tell me that if i downgrade your mobile it will brick cause ur securite code is now change so u have to do it unofficially so now i update my moblie to onyx 5 but same problame is there so help me

Can you reflash your ROM to Onyx 4.6 Ultimate or Jr?
That might resolve the issue you are having.
Please BACKUP, using ppcpimbackup and save the backup file in memory card or such.

thanx for replyi tried onyx 4.6 but still the problame is continue one more thing my center button(action switch ) is also not working

That must be a hardware issue.
Your centre button not working..
mmm, try this steps.
1) Turn on your phone.
2) Press the centre button in the dark.
3) Notice, did you see the red and green buttons light up?

1. This is the development forum. Your post is not a development post.
2. This has been covered a million times. Please search.
3. The tri-color screen is your bootloader. What did you do in the first place to get to this point? The more information about your problem that you give, the easier it is for everyone else to figure out what happened.

I'm so sorry for posting in a wrong thread... What happened was.. I accidentally installed a wrong application on my phone.. The application I installed was for HTC touch.. so it was not compatible on my phone.. Everytime I turned on my phone the tri color screen appears and it displayed on the screen all the time.. I could not also hard reset the phone because of that tri color..
Pls help me what to do.. thanks much..

What "application" was it? Was it a ROM? Was it a HardSPL?
If it was a ROM, just flash another ROM.
If it was a HardSPL, search for "Goldcard" and create a goldcard.

The application I installed was the Touch-flo application.. But the application was saved on the memory card.. when I run the application, its when the tri color starts to appear..

Without knowing what program you used, it will be harder to figure out how to fix it.
The only thing I can say is:
1a) try to flash a Herald ROM through SD (read the walkthrough) (if your device is HardSPL'd)
1b) try to flash the stock ROM through SD (read the walkthrough) if your device isn't HardSPL'd)
2) If you still can't get past the bootloader screen, try searching for the word "goldcard" and follow those instructions on how to create a goldcard. You can use the goldcard to restore your phone back to working condition.

Ad.4) run Perl Package Manager from Windows Start Menu
change PPM Preferences (run Preferences from the Perl Package Manager menu and switch to the repository tab):
- Add repositories:

After database synchronization install those packages (at the main window of Perl Package manager find those packages, mark them for install (the icon with green plus, next to the search bar) and run marked action(green arrow icon)):
-Crypt-DES
-XdaDevelopers-NbfUtils
by the way, i'm using Windows XP service pack 2.. is it okay? eventhough the requirements is SP3? thanks much..

Ive tried so many android builds some times when i run it the little android white letters appear as it should but there shrunk and appear at the left top cornerof my phon ive only been able to run it twice and android worked bt after a reboot it went back to the htc screen for hours and never was able to get it started pls someone pls help me ive been trying to slove this proble for weeks bt haven't been able to solve it please some help me!

format your sd card then try again. or flash different rom like chuckydroid or vbnrom.

energy rom is just fine, try 2.12.50.xxx radio, donwload the android build you want and unzip to desktop on pc, grab android folder and place on root of your sd...... you cant always use the android bootloader on this WM rom unless you edit the startup on android build...... on WM go to start>tools>file explorer> make sure keypads lights are on and hit CLRCAD first, then hit HARET and just let it go all the way, some builds take longer on first boot cuz data.img is being created so wait bout 5-10-15 min ........ dont forget to turn off auto backlights on WM before doing all this.. good luck...

Maybe a change back to HSPL2 would help..

Do you happen do have extended battery?

ok, start all over again.... download and do task29, reinstall your energy rom upgrade radio again, apply settings i gave you and try to boot again..... let me know how it goes

What type of sd card are you using, try a different sd card... That eliminates the sd card as the culprit.

I have the original 16gb sd card that comes with the phon and im sure its not corrupted bcuz it works great

can u explain a little better what kenel and linux is or if i hve to update tha too i really dont undestand what that really is?

Hey Ill be installing android soon when I get back my phone from warranty, and I dont know what auto backlights are(my motherlanguage isnt english) and how to turn them off?

This is what i did
I flashed the newest hard spl i think it is number 3.0 and changed the radio to 2.12.50 and after i put energy rom on it what will upgrade my ram to 570 or something. I am very happy with that rom very fast and stable. Now im using FroyoStone Sense - V3.2][Kernel: linux_on_wince_htc 2.6.32.15] from darkstone.
Im sorry for all the winmo 6.5 hardcore users. I tweaked and played with it for a time now. But now im using froyo from my sd card (very fast and stable) I want nothing else. I hope there will be a rom soon so i can cook a android rom on my hd2 leo. I think the biggest reason for me is the amount of good quality apps.

Could someone help me because i want to install android on my hd2 but i do know how it works but if i want to get into the red-green-blue-white screen, i will see the colours but it almost goes direct to another white screen with loading... on it. So i can't do my first step for HSPL4.

it shows an total white screen, and in blue letters(like hard reset) loading...
nothing else. sorry cant post any pics.

check if there's no file in ur sd card named LEOIMG or any file .nbh because if u put like that files in sd card the bootloader will load them ...and even of u get that msg just press vol down to go back to the colors screen
