how will i get everything from MyPhone to titanium if my phones running on android?

dunno, not very helpful is it, if you sync your contacts with a live account i believe you can them import them in to google, there may even be a app that will import them from live which ithough i saw somewhere, but i ended up having to sync them with outlook, create a CSV then import that in to google, which is stupid and doesnt allow me to sync contacts from android to WM.
of course after a couple of weeks you'll start wondering what all the fuss was about anyway and use WM again, unless you like the millions of apps google has available to it!

You can sync contacts through activesync using your Google account and boot android & sync back. Its already covered o main page just search contacts import in search section.

Regarding Phone Numbers...

Hello all,
I have been thinking of trying out one of the Hero themes... I just don't want to lose all of my contacts. Is there any way to save my contacts before I install Hero v 1.3? I tried searching for this, but nothing came up.
Thanks again.

Sync with your google account. Or you can get an app called nyx sync or something like that, which backs them up to your sdcard.
I have NS Contacts backup. But can I recover these on the google OS if they are saved on my memory card?
if you mean from windows mobile to android? you setup active sync with the google server, it syncs all your contacts. When you load android it prompts you to enter your google account and will import your contacts.

HTC Sync Update for HTC Aria 07.09.2010

HTC Sync™ lets you synchronize Outlook and Windows Address Book (Outlook Express), contacts and calendar events on your PC with your phone. It also lets you install third-party Android applications on the phone, and the Mobile Network sharing function as well.
HTC Sync 3.0.5372

I like the 3rd party app addition. Now let's see if it actually works.

Hmm... Mobile Network sharing function...
I wonder if maybe this will allow me to root my ARIA? the 2.0.38 or however they show the version numbers had not been seeing my phone no matter what I tried.

I was thinking the same thing as i refuse to register my device just to download sync software, it was not like this when i downloaded HTC_Sync_2.0.38 a few weeks ago, and i can download HTC_Sync_2.0.40 without registering a serial easily and use it with no issues, matter a fact i was using HTC_Sync_2.0.40 to sync my outlook and calender even before HTC_Sync_2.0.38 was released so why make us register the device?
Here ya go - http://gruberphotos.com/download/
used it to get swype on stock non rooted aria, little slow but worked just fine.

Ok, after using this new version i must say that its a step backwards. I like the new GUI and all the eye candy and the ability to install .APK files but it lacks the basic functionality that the HTC_Sync_2.0.38 had.
For instance the old version told you at a glance the number of contacts in outlook and events on the outlook calender, where it is at during the contact syncing and calender syncing. It also gave you more advanced options on syncing.
On this new version Outlook must be set as you default mail client for it to connect with it which is completely bogus. On first connect the device synced on it own using the latest modified data which created duplicated in outlook and my phone, deleted the duplicates from my phone and tried to sync again and it completely wiped the data from outlook, i used the nandroid to restore the contacts to the phone and tried to sync again to get everything back where it was.
A bit angry with the music syncing. The files sync to /Music/ then the full file directory. so if you music is stored in c/:users/username/my documents/music you media wll be synced in the same structure /Music/c/users/username/my documents/music which is more complex than it needs to be. A simple music folder with music/Artist/album is sufficient. Then it took 1 hour to sync 3.8GB of music, that same 3.8 GB takes less than 15 if i remove the card from the device and put in in the card reader.
Long story shorty, im reverting back to HTC_Sync_2.0.40. Sometimes less is more.
Funny that now the new sync is no longer availble on HTC site and the link was changed back to HTC_Sync_2.0.38

Hmmm...
You probably want to get on the ball with finding this software as it really has been pulled from the site. Some people have upped the new version for download, so do a search, grab it while its hot and sit on it if you want to sideload with the software (without rooting).
Edit: You can grab it from this thread if you don't have it already

I downloaded this one, the one from HTC's site (before it was removed) and even tried the old version (.38) and NONE of them recognize my phone when I plug it in and tell the phone to use HTC Sync. The phone tries to find it running on my PC but can't. Any ideas? I'm running Win7 64.

[Q] how to port contacts from winmo to android

Hello,
I recently started using android on my HTC HD2 TMOUS. I downloaded Friyo_v3 from gamesquare and run it from the sd card
can someone tell me the simpliest way to get my contacts from winmo 6.5 to android.
thanks
Just export from outlook in csv format, then import that file to your gmail account.
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
There is an even more simple way :
In WinMo, set active sync to sync your contacts with your google account (server : m.google.com, login and password are those of your google account).

[Q] How to copy contacts?

Hello,
I have been using WP7 on my TMO HD2 for 4 moths, I guess, and I have lots of new contacts since then. The problem is that I want to flash Android, but I don't know how I can copy WP7 contacts to SIM, or anywhere else, so I could use them after I flashed Android... Any issues? Please, don't tell me that the only way to copy contacts to SIM is to write down them on paper, then flash Android, and then add them to phone...

If you have a windows live account, you can sign in to it using your new android and sync contacts.
And/or create a new google account on your WP7 (you dont have to use it) and sync your contacts with it, check online that you have them, then set up that account on your android.

No no, Exchange server, is microsoft's "google sync" i never used a windows phone, but i know in windows mobile i was able to backup my contacts to an xml file then used an online converter to convert it to vcd to be restored in android. And in windows mobile i used smschat to backup my inbox. Look in the windows phone store for any type of backup software and get back to me with them and i'll see what sort of conversions i can do.
