Andriod.phone force close error [SOLVED] - Galaxy S I9000 General

I got this error after using an update.zip for battery % icon, I get this error after the phone boots into the home screen and I cant really do anything on the phone. I went to recovery mode and did a factory reset and the cache wipe, still having the problem. I know this will be fixed If i reflash to another firmware but Id like to keep using the firmware that is official for my country/region w/c is the DXJG4 ( Philippines ) would it be possible if I flash my phone to a euro firmware and have kies revert it back to the original firmware for my country ??
This is the exact error message
Sorry!
The process com.andriod.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again
Force close
tapping on force close brings this
The process com.andriod.media has stopped unexpectedly. please try again
goes it an infinite loop.

Issues flashing from Asian JH1 to Euro JM5

Hi all,
Having an issue at the moment. I had originally flashed JG4, then JM5 onto my SGS (was originally Optus JF3), then decided to check out the Asia FW JH1, but when I try to flash back to JM5, Odin gets to the "dont remove download target" in the dialogue box and I'm left waiting...
After 30min +, nothing is happening... If I remove the phone, I get the connect phone to pc Icon on reboot.. I then have to reflash back to JH1 to get the phone working again......
Do I need to use a different PIT file, or is there something else I need to do.
Cheers for assistance in advance.

Error on installing official firmware

Hi everyone i have the note 3 n9005 version and its working on omega right now but i want to get it back to official.
I face a problem in which i get fail on hidden at odin3. I was reading in xda forum tha i have to install the .pit together to with the firmware.

Fail at hidden. i was thinking to get my phone to a samsung engenir but they told me that i will pay 40euros and this made me try for one last time but asking for help here in the forum.
Thank you very much properly
Edit: I got fail again at odin3 but the phone started. I use the pin and then i got a message all the time saying "Process Android.process.acore has stopped"

HELP my N9005 bugs after I flash stock firmware

DAY 1: My phone bootloops when i flashed a modem. So I flashed a firmware base on my country (Philippines N9005XXUEND6). I used odin 3.09 for flashing, did check the FRESET TIME, AUTOREBOOT, AP BOX and BOOTLOADER UPDATE.. It was successful but on the homescreen, "setup wizard has stopped" flashes on screen so I factory reset via stock recovery, then it runs ok.. Set up is done,. But another problems are:
1. entering camera, it shows black screen then says "warning: camera failed".
2. entering the phone dialler it takes seconds to respond
3. music is freezes
4. unlocking the phone it takes seconds to open
5.wakelock takes seconds also to respond
6. no sound
N9005XXUEND6 is the firmware I flashed.
DAY 2: I flashed a different firmwares XXUEND5, XXUENB4, but i notice that i after flashing, no setup wizard in the homescreen. It is the same settings, wallpaper and i have the messages and conversations in my inbox. It looks like the firmware didnt update but i look up in the baseband and build version it does change.. A friend of mind says that after flashing a firmware setup wizard must pop on the screen but mine doesnt.HELP ME MASTERS.. Im losing hope..
I cant figure out the problem, my drivers is installed, i have the firmwares, odin 3.09, and all required tools for flashing
please help me masters.. I did trying reflash the firware and do the reset, the problem persist.. thanks in advance
I have a similar problem, but I think yours is much more simpler hopefully
You find the data unchanged because you didn't do a factory reset
To do so, turn off your phone then open recovery mode by pressing VOLUME+, HOME & POWER buttons together until it opens
Choose Wipe Data/ Factory Reset --> Yes
then reboot your phone
My phone turned out to have a RAM problem and still haven't fixed it, it will cost me a lot especially that I voided my warranty because I rooted the phone
The same problem exactly!!! And I do all reset severel times! Help us!!!

If you could fix it don't forget to tell us about it
BTW I found a post online that says the problem could be due to separated camera from the motherboard
So if you don't have warranty as myself you should get it to maintenance service and tell them to check the camera

What is your Knox Warranty Void status ?
if it's still 0x0, you should send it to Samsung service

Then I guess your problem is like mine .. it could be hardware related :\
After I installed this ROM I found the camera working but not video camera and still can't play videos but there are no hangs
It still has problems but it sort of confirmed that I have a hardware problem
You need to be rooted
It's an AOSP ROM without Samsung Touchwiz ..
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/...esurrection_Remix_KK_v5.0.9-20140416-hlte.zip
http://mirror41.downloadandroidrom....ock-4.4.2-20140207-signed.zip?token=866958839
Boot into Recovery .. Do a Factory Reset .. then flash the ROM then the gapps

Hey, did you burn plywood the correct version of rum for your device? Moreover, you must make fool wipe, what version you had before making the root? That if there is a 4.3 to try to go back to 4.4.2

You said you tried updating the firmware of your region and the problem persists .. You should let someone flash the software using a BOX (not just using odin) (preferably go to Samsung)
if it's not solved then it's most probably a hardware problem .. I didn't drop my phone either but that's not necessary
Same problems with my n9005

I saw now the CSC is XSP this is the only prb but also is csc free no bloatware.also you can root back again and you can restore your old settings except :
1. CSC settings and APP settings that camed with your original firmware
2. when insert your sim back you will be notified to update internet settings to your provider ( for me Vodafone RO) , you can change them back to google.com . is ok THX for your apreciation.

My G900F is soft-bricked. Maybe. Several attemps doesn't work. Desperately need help.

Hello. I'm a new user of SM G900F (SG). Running on lollipop with latest firmware
Bought it on Dec 26th, the device doesn't have any problem. I was happy back then, jumping form Galaxy Mini 2 to S5 is a big difference experience.
Running on official latest firmware, i only updated the phone once., around 1st - 2nd week of January.
The problem is, on Jan 14th, the G900F fail to boot (bootloop) after i set a new lockscreen from my gallery. It failed to boot, after several attemps, and wipe cache + wipe data, it booted. Haven't backed up my data yet, but i'm happy my phone is working.
On 15th, the same things happened. I set a new lockscreen. It's stil fine. But when a web-browsing on Chrome, the screen is automaically turn off (when not in use in a periout of time), but i immediatey press home button to wake the screen up. the screen didn't turn on, i press the power button. Then the bootloop happened. And this time, i can't go to recovery mode.
I've tried to re-flashing the phone using odin with official firmware, the SG one. But it didn't work. It showed Reset! with blue box on it. But still, m phone is bootlooping. My phone is still bricked. Can't go to the recovery mode either.
P.S: The phone is 2nd handed device from Singapore. I'm an Indonesian, bought the SG version bcs the Indonesia ver (G900H) is still 3G. While the SG one is 4G already. I'm using Indonesian provider (Telkomsel) and works fine on 3G or 4G so i assume the phone is unlocked. I've test the phone imei and it showed that it's the real S5, not the replica one. Antutu test showed 48,xxx score and proved that my device is the real S5 (judge by the name of device written on antutu).
I don't use micro SD. 32 gb is enough for me.
Sorry for long post and bad english. Really desperate to bring life to my phone back. Thanks before.
UPDATE: sometimes when i plugged on the device on my PC with kies on it, it booted to the homescreen. I dont know what exactly i do that caused the device booted, i only remember after stopping the bootloop (installed boot.tar, using this *the 1st method* that caused my knox 0x0, geez i didn't know that), then i flash my phone using the latest firmware (that i believe it's the correct one), then i re-plugged it on my PC with kies open, it booted! But the samsung animation logo played waaaay to long than usual. But it worked. Tried to reboot the phone to check if it's worked completely, unfortunately the device still doing bootloop. Then i tried method 2 from this, failed on odin. Turn on the device, still being jerk by doing bootloop. I gave up. Waiting for solution.

G900F. I downloaded the G900F SG firmware, too. Since it came from SG.
To rule out firmware (ROM) being the problem, flash this PIT file along with the stock ROM (Same time) in ODIN
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2721101&d=1399024091
Add the PIT file to the PIT section, and the ROM to the normal PDA or AP section, and flash them together
If it still bootloops after a while after doing that, it's likely a hardware issue

what is PIT file? Read the PIT explanation here, i'm afraid it'd made my device being paperweight. So what's actually PIT file do for my bricked G900F?
Thanks.

It repartitions the phone, 100% wiping any old firmware, then the new stock ROM will be 100% clean and you will know if it is a hardware or software problem
How can something make your bricked phone a paperweight? It already is a paperweight
If you're gonna second guess everything you're told, enjoy your buggy phone

SM-T585 Failing to Flash Stock Rom

Hello. my tablet was playing up failing to connect to google play tried everything but nothing worked so i thought i would flash a new stock rom from samMobile.
everything flashes fine with odin but as soon as it gets to the system part it flashes hidden.img then fails. I thought nothing off it so i tried again.
but again as soon as it gets to the hidden.img it fails again. so i thought maybe its just the rom. So i downloaded another rom from same device from samMobile but everytime i try the roms i get to the hidden.img then fails i will leave attachments with this. See if we can get this fixed.
I fixed it by using Samsung smart switch software - seems like SamMobile is giving out faulty software
