I figured using T-Mobile on H would be a little faster, since it is direct. My phone has always been little faster on H than using my b/g wifi at home.
No mine's not overclocked, it is just manusfreedom's latest kernel and zego's cm6 based build

FWIW I was getting ~1480 using mattc 1.5 and the first fullram zimage, wifi on, apps running in background.
I'm using shubCRAFT 1.2 and max I get is 1469. Well done

I tried to download that but the link was broken
I can only get to 1588 on Quadrant using shubcraft's v1.2 and the August 11 Kernel from ManusFreedom...
Looking forward to Zego's 2nd release to test...
On the upcoming release
That will be great.

Just checking, but does anyone know if the most recent (i.e. July 2010) radio for the Eris will work as well as that older one?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=779304
Found it here, gonna try it.
edit: Well I flashed it just fine, but my dbm is actually higher, average about -90. Before with the latest Sprint radio it fluctuated between -82 to -90...I will need to test and compare for a little longer.

Not really, sleep bug is still present. If you leave wimax on and turn the screen off for more then 3 minutes wimax should be disconnected (and it may or may not find another wimax signal).

Not to my knowledge. It's a .35 and .37 kernel issue. Could be a mixture of both though.

Uh there isn't a best or worst! There is only opinion's. But if you want the highest clocked and most stable for that speed than i would say Redstar's 1190 kernel
http://redstar.euroskank.com/2.6.37.4/LIVE_DANGEROUSLY/OC_1190/
Just my 2 cents, like a @ssh0l3 everyone has 1
The other two posters are correct--
1. Too high and phone issues, some phones can handle them, a lot can't--be careful
2. Benchmarks are useless and overrated--I have been flashing kernals for almost a year and irregardless of my benchmarks (I haven't even done one for months), the phone seems no differnet for day to day use
3. I prefer the stock one on nightlies--great volume on audio
4. IMHO
<- what he said!

unless you re-wrote the APK to support both cores, then you're gonna be better off using either Antutu or CF Bench.
Besides Quadrant not testing both cores, who wants to compare thier phone to the 2009 lineup? Time to upgrade your benchmarking app. I dont need an app to know the Atrix is better than the OGdroid. Quadrant sucks!

We all need one and the Xperia Play hasn't got one, so I thought I'd start one for you guys.
On my Xperia Play R800i I'm happily running at 1.8ghz and I'm considering pushing it further. How are you guys doing?
1.5-1.6 here... I'm trying to push it so I can get full speed on TigerMAME with sound, and I'm not really noticing any improvement. Maybe I need to look at trying out some different governers.
Thought everyone's went to 2.0ghz stable, i think it could do more tbh
Well anyway mine is 2ghz stable using the smartass governer
Using what to overclock? Does the Play have an OC kernel stock, or have you done something else to it? I'm a noob with the Play so I haven't discovered all the goodies yet.

i think almost everyone gets 2.0ghz stable, but i run 1.6 ghz. mainly because the improvement 2hz is next to nothing (about 4%-ish on fpsece) and it makes my phone warm when playing.
