Help Rom Flash Issue
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had an issue with my GPS, trying to turn static navigation off. I thought I screwed it up so I reflashed the original O2 rom, worked no problem.
However after trying out the posted ROM's on here I like the Vanilla which is what I installed (then was messing with gps). Went back to original with the hope that the gps was fixed.
I then just tried to put the Vanilla 3.01 ROM back on and it fails out for corrupted ROM file ERROR 270.
To let everyone know, I installed, and unistalled both the full, lite, and vanilla several times the other day while deciding which I liked.
WHat could the problem be about I can't get any of these ROM's to flash now all after 3% the screen goes dim, and it says corrupted file.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?????????????
Switched computers ......
I found a thread after some serious searching about switching computers when you get an error 270 image corrupt...
Then after flashing original rom, uspl seems to have worked..
will update if thread if I get vanilla rom back on.
I have the Vanilla 3.01 ROM installed!!! I think it's great.
There are two things that I want to change, and need help.
One I actually did not mind the origianl phone dialer that came with the WM6 O2 ROM. Is there a way to just port that part back in ???
The function I liked was when I typed numbers it would choose contacts based on number. The Vanilla version choses contacts based on the letters.. Can I change??
Also is there another way to make the keyboard bigger, after selecting big font, I mean just a tad bit larger??
Thanks,
Burn

TFLO 3D Build 1920

Has anyone tried to put TouchFLO 3D 2.5 Build 1920 on an Imagio, and if so, initial thoughts?
Also, does anyone know how to backup the factory ROM before messing around so I can recover in case I do something stupid (which is inevitable)!
I have wanted to, however I don't have the files. The only way to revert back to stock would be to hard reset. If you have the files load them up and I will try them out and report back.
The Stock Factory ROM from Verizon is located in a link on the first post here:

Confirmed it works as I've reflashed my device once with it already.

[Q] help.about samsung keyboard

Hello.I have an N900. I have rooted the phone.I don't know why but for some reason the samsung keyboard keeps giving me force close (unfortunately samsung keyboard has stopped) and not working. and the strange thing is that I can't use touch buttons except the physical home key. that buttons (menu and back keys) are working.I mean when I touch them the key light turning on,but no action. for example when I touch back key, the key key lights up,but in screen, it doesn't go back. I hope you understand my question and my problem.
my phone: PDA:MK2/PHONE:MK1/CSC:MJ3(EGY)
I think this problems can be solved somehow. I can't and I don't want to change this stock rom. can anyone help me ASAP? please?:crying:
Can you re flash and wipe the phone? Sounds like a dirty install of the rom itself

NO.I didn't flash the rom.it's the stock rom since I bought the phone. I used OTA that it updated to MK2. I did even use factory reset but no use! the samsung keyboard still gives me error. I installed another keyboard (google keyboard) and it seems that the problem has gone. but I want to solve the samsung keyboard problem. if there was a flashable samsung keyboard for this base, that would be great! also another question: can someone tell me how can I solve another strange problem? I flashed custom recovery with odin, but in recovery,it can't mount and recognize external memory card! the memory card hasn't any problem in the rom, the problem only exist in recovery!

[Q] GPS fix

So I have a question about the GPS on the G2. I installed cyanogenmod immediately after opening my G2. I did not realize you needed to get a GPS lock with the stock ROM first, so my GPS has not worked since I've had the phone. From what I can find the only fix I see is to roll back to stock, get a lock, and then restore my current ROM.
I currently have the latest CM11 nightly and the latest clockwork mod recovery. I don't mind backing up my current install, flashing another ROM, getting a GPS lock and then restoring, but I can't seem to find an easy way to do this. I don't see a stock ROM that I can just flash in recovery, which i'd really like to do if possible since I'm not going to keep the stock ROM for more than a couple of minutes. Some have recommended cleanrom 1.0, which I tried but after wiping data and cache only resulted in a black screen and wouldn't actually boot.
So does anyone know if there is an easy fix for the GPS that I haven't found when you have never had a lock on a stock ROM, and if not, is there a simple ROM I could flash to get this fixed up quick? Thanks for any help

I never heard of something like this. Can you please show me where you found this info? (for me this looks like a busted GPS, or Cyanogenmod GPS problem, have your checked their thread for help and info?)
Sorry that I won't help you much. But I am really interested in that part that you need to get a lock first with a stock rom.
Btw for ppl to help you with ROM's you could also share your exact device variant.
Also not sure what you mean by cleanrom being stock? Everything that is other as the KDZ files or OTA from LG are not stock. There are guides how to go to stock. But flashing something in recovery classifies as going custom. Are you sure that would fix your GPS problem?

problem with the voice transmission circuitry. no voice recognition

so, i will try my luck. first thing is, i have a xt1684 retgb. atm i'm on full stock oreo firmware, a backup that i made where everything should have worked fine. after the issue appeared i restored the backup. but yea, it still persists. what a *****y phone.
now i have the problem, that in any case no voice is recognized neither via the build-in mics nor over a plugged headset.
neither a full stock flash to oreo nor to nougat changed it. everything else seems to be working as it should.
really guys, give me any hint to get rid of this. everything is welcome. :fingers-crossed: i count on you. cheers
okay got a little success in camera. in there i got my voice back after re-enabling mic permission in settings. but it doesn't help on google search e.g. .
i got my mic back working. but i still can't tell what caused it. maybe something equal to the problem that causes no touch issue. don't know. flashed a few stock and rom until it worked again. it was a work or die mission. as mentioned in the stock oreo thread it is really neccessary to let every stock flash finish with the initial setup (even if skip everything) till you are on launcher homescreen.
