Hello.I have an N900. I have rooted the phone.I don't know why but for some reason the samsung keyboard keeps giving me force close (unfortunately samsung keyboard has stopped) and not working. and the strange thing is that I can't use touch buttons except the physical home key. that buttons (menu and back keys) are working.I mean when I touch them the key light turning on,but no action. for example when I touch back key, the key key lights up,but in screen, it doesn't go back. I hope you understand my question and my problem.
my phone: PDA:MK2/PHONE:MK1/CSC:MJ3(EGY)
I think this problems can be solved somehow. I can't and I don't want to change this stock rom. can anyone help me ASAP? please?:crying:
Can you re flash and wipe the phone? Sounds like a dirty install of the rom itself

NO.I didn't flash the rom.it's the stock rom since I bought the phone. I used OTA that it updated to MK2. I did even use factory reset but no use! the samsung keyboard still gives me error. I installed another keyboard (google keyboard) and it seems that the problem has gone. but I want to solve the samsung keyboard problem. if there was a flashable samsung keyboard for this base, that would be great! also another question: can someone tell me how can I solve another strange problem? I flashed custom recovery with odin, but in recovery,it can't mount and recognize external memory card! the memory card hasn't any problem in the rom, the problem only exist in recovery!

Re-download the rom from sammobile and reflash it.
isn't there any flashable samsung keyboard for SM-N900?

Did you install a different keyboard?
No.....no install different keyboard......although i factory reset also keep restart the TAB.....
Strange, since an hour or so I have still this message, and keyboard wont work.

After several resets/wipes,cache wipes and internal sdcard formats, I got still that errorrozess com.sec.android.inputmethod.axt9 - force close error.
Finally, I flashed my phone with odin, now everything seem fine...
What could that was? Last thing I did before the errors I change the system-font...
The phone was rooted with z4root, and had a lagfix on it, OCLF app.

oh....if i not mistaken.i also change the system-font.So,do you encounter keep rebooting issue which is same to me?problem solved after re flashing odin?what ROM you are using?mind to share me the link?Mine one is P1000DXJJ1,South east asia file.

first ... if u not 3 button problem...
open recovery mode and factory reset..
open galaxy and speed setting then goto settings learn all firmware and foroyo version .
close phone..
stay phone close..
get www.samfirmware.com and find ur galaxy ( u must see this) firmware and download... ( pass: samfirmware.com)
under download odin 1.3
download ur version pit ..
must installed last KIES on ur windows 7 ( Im made it this)
open odin and chooe correct files ( see below samfirmware page how do it at pdf files)
open galaxy s ( it my phone ) download mode..
if see yellow color "com port sign" upper left on odin then get start..
bingo...... ( sorry poor my english )

Changing the system font is what caused the error. If you used absolute system and changed the font, you probably started getting the keyboard error. Try returning to the default font.

I have a little problem with the touchscreen on my Galaxy S.
I think it's something with firmware. Sometimes don't work about 20-30 pixels on the left and the right side.
It makes me mad, because i need move the widget from one screen to next one, and isn't working. So, i have to open SGS tools, and do TSP update (touchscreen firmwareversion). After update is Pass on the screen and everything works perfectly, BUT only for a moment (sometimes few hours, max one day).
Then i have to do everything again
Does anyone know what to do?
try to make a nandroid backup and then reflash your firmware or do an hard reset and see what happens
No, this isn't working.. I had a lot of different ROM and I did hard reset etc. (2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1)(JPU, JPY, JM1/2)
Now I have Darky ROM 7.7 and OCUV Kernel. I thing, somewhere in phone is correct firmware, because when I did update I don't have to turn on wifi or 3g. Update is working offline and then everything work..
I recently tried changing my theme, i rooted my phone, Downloaded ROM manager and Clockworkmod, when i installed it all, it bricked my phone- I unbricked it by updating the firmware with Odin, but now the touchscreen is not working - At Alll.

i have a new galaxy s4 comes with 4.3 android.
i have rooted and running philz cwm.
i have tried flashed nishlight and arrow rom.
but same problem persist.
the problem is when it is boot up.
all running fine but after the screen time out or i tried to lock the screen.
i cant wake it up.
when i press the power button the screen wont turn up and left only the menu and back light turn up, the screen goes blank.
actually i have 1 galaxy s4 also but the other one is comes with 4.2.2 android only.
and i have it running arrow rom or nishlight rom with no trouble at all.
any suggestion how to overcome it?

i wondering if it is locked bootloader or what it is?
anything goes with efs folder may be?
but when i revert back to original mj5 firmware it running smoothly, i rooted it and still goes with philz touch cwm.
i wondering y my another galaxy s4 dint have such a problem, i have run Legend, cobra, arrow, and nishlight rom on it without problem at all.

use CWM 6.0.4.4 onwards.
I always used custom roms CM,
i flash stock rom I9505XXUHOH2_I9505TPHHOI1_I9505XXUHOH2
and now my back button / key don't work.
any fix ?

updated to hoh2 a few days ago and had the same problem, back button doesnt work at all (not even the light..)
doesnt matter if full install of hoh2 via odin, or get update by OTA.
now i downloaded previous stock rom (hof2) and flashed it, now everything is fine again. skipped ota update for now as it will break the keys again.
couldnt find any solution to this so far. also samsung has no idea (and never heard of it before...)

I just changed from Stock ROM to latest lineage OS with TWRP. After installing some APPs, i figured out, when call comes in or out, display gets off (dark) and doesnt comes back easily. Now, touch doesnt response so I cant unlock with pattern. Booting to recovery doesnt give me touch response so I cant swipe for "allow changes".
How could i fix this? Maybe with flashing now Recovery or Kernel via Download Mode, but how to do? Thank u
I suggest flashing back to a completely stock ROM and start over.
The screen going black could be an indication of a problem with the proximity sensor. The touch could be a driver issue in the custom ROM.
Edit: Airdroid Mirror doesnt work to unlock pattern lock

but i forgot to tell u there is working USB Debugging with working Airdroid. Befor the issue Airdroid Mirror works great (control movements and clicks via Windows AirDroid Tool), but now with the issue i cant unlock pattern lock with airdroid. No response while moving Finger/Mouse but function keys like home work in Airdroid and also at touch.
Any idea how to fix this special thing? Is this an proximity sensor error?

Don't think the proximity sensor would be related to Android mirror.
Since you can't unlock the phone because the touch does not work, I would flash back to a stock ROM and check as many functions as possible. If the phone doesn't function properly on a stock ROM, it is unlikely to function properly on a custom ROM.

I just flashed one of some stock roms,this one: I9505XXUGNG2_I9505OXAGNG2_DBT frome the thread "go back to stock rom" and did wipe data factory reset. It installed some apps, but then no touch is responding.
I did opened phone, reconnected all cables but no luck. How to bring back touch is working?
Try one of the stock roms from samsung-firmware.org that is specifically for the carrier that originally issued the phone.
Could the problem be a loose connection?
Same problem here. Its an Samsung S4, german version.
I tried the jfvelte-version from https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys4valueedition.html and it works great. Touch-screen works like a charm. Maybe this info will help other users.
