I have never used the mytouch. I've held it in my hand and whatnot, at the store, and goofed off with it. And I've noticed that the response time is noticeably slower than my Nexus, and the nexus just feels amazing in my hand, and is a breeze to use. I can't tell you about the internet speeds, but I would take a Nexus over a mytouch any day.
is there anything coming out for tmobile?? I need to buy it with out a contract so $500... I would hate to spend that much today and tomorrow something else will come
how is the nexus compared with the n900??
Samsung Galaxy S is coming out next month...

If you are always waiting for the latest and greatest, you'll never get anything because as soon as something comes out, something better is coming out "soon".
Personally, I have an N1 and would not give this up for any phone on the market now, or anything coming out anytime soon.
so the $500 are deff worth it?

I have both, the N1 in ALL areas is better than the MT3G, even internet speeds
You can grab a N1 or, like my Wife, wait for the Samsung Galaxy or whatever it will be called on T-Mobile

Better is a subjective term for you and you alone to decide.
I'd rather buy an N1 unlocked for $500 and save $ with the EV+ plans than buying a Galaxy at $199 paying $70-80/mo if that is what you are asking...

No keyboard, no fm radio, no stylus, no ir, no internal storage.
Everything else goes to the Nexus.

Well i have a family plan.. so i could get it from google's at $529, i looked in craiglist and chapest one is about $450 (tampa, FL) so i rather pay the extra and get warranty from google.
hey miguel, there is a seller on craiglist who is selling his nexus one for 400 dollars. you want his number? i can pm you since we live in the same city.
i dunno about you, but i think 400 is pretty cheap compare to what i see on threre. i would have get it if i didn't got one yesterday for 450 dollars and if it didn't took him a long time to reply my texts.
Samsung galaxy eats the n1 in power and gpu and has a beautiful super amoled screen with a flawless touch screen and it records 720 p without a hack....
But it has no flash, froyo wont be soon unless custom and well its Samsung and looks like a iphone...
If it had flash 10.1 and a camera flash. Id be on it... damn no flash for camera what?

Or ebay. Probably be able to get a better price on craigslist if you wait it out and find a good seller. Might even be able to trade for it.
They are going for around 480 on ebay right now. I lucked out and bought one for 430. I have another one that has a few small scratches on the screen that I would sell you for 425, including shipping, through paypal. PM me for details.
I switched from a Nexus to a Evo 4g. Reason being is that T-Mobile's service isn't that great where I live. Like I'm at my sisters right now and I get 2 bars of Edge on my Nexus and Full bars of 3g on my Evo. Anyways, Nexus is one of the best phones on the market, I feel sad that I made the switch, but I couldn't take the spotty coverage anymore. I'd recommend you look up and see if
Samsung Galaxy is interesting to you, otherwise just get a Nexus.
yea, the good thing about t-mobile is that they don't have a lot of good phones lol. so you save a lot of bucks without having to catch up to technology. tbh, the nexus one is nice. and wow, some of you have more hat one nexus? you guys are ballin lol. but nexus one at 300 something dollars is a really good deal.
Like the title said i want to buy a New or recently puchased N1. However, it must have 3g 850 band. I am on AT&T.
Holla.
Ebay, Criagslist, Kijiji, etc.
Take your pick
I'll let mine go for $400 + your captivate
Sign up for Google Developer's Account, for $25, then you can buy the Nexus One directly from Google any version you want for $529.
The developer site only has the t-mobile version available I read.

Actually... even at that price, I'd hate to let mine go.
i wanted to buy a n1 ever since it was out. i recent bought an iphone 4 and turn around and sold that pos. with the money i can buy a n1 now. but now google is out and now in the streets looking for one to work on att. honestly why would you sell a n1. way i see it, its the purest android out there.
Just got me a n1. Pick one up from craigslist. This thing is nice. Better than what I expected. Had a captivate but so glad I returned it. Maybe captivate has better screen. So what this thing is modifiable. After I bought the captivated I troll around everyday. Just put it this way. Not much developed. Very happy so far. Let the modifying begin. What to do first. There is much. Lol.
So here it is, the Nexus S.
I think a lot of people are mad because the sites like engadget fueled mad rumors about the device and now people are like, meh!
Personally i expected to be like a GSG with some added bonuses.
So what would you do?
I have voted the #2
I feel burned by samsung with the GPS and magnetic compass problems on my Vibrant. I don't know if I will ever get a Samsung again. I had HTC phones for years and never had hardware problems. So I think I can safely say no to the new phone.

Never expect the very best and you'll never be disappointed
I think of the Nexus-S as a good upgrade to the Nexus-1 and I am debating about buying it or not. The Nexus One is the best phone I've ever had and when Google closed down their webstore I thought there would never be another pure Google phone again so I figured I would keep the Nexus-1 for 4 to 5 years (its that good) until it stopped working...
But that damn SuperAMOLED and 4' screen is an evil temptress!!! Sigh decisions decisions

To tell the truth i have used the vibrant for a month after the N1, the Vibrant felt a better phone, sure the plastic build don't help but it is nicely build and the plastic used in the vibrant is from high grade, the molds used by samsung must have been very expensive as the parts were so precise, yes people don't notice that but its there. And overall the vibrant was a nice solid piece.
HTC phones are heavier sure a nice heft is nice but weight does not equal quality, I.E N1 had the ****tiest digitizer, the power button sucks big time. The G2 has hinges problems, the MT4G has the LCD lottery and the FFC being not centered. I don't know why people don't mention that when they say things about HTC. It seems like they only have praise for them. For the record HTC warranty isn't any better than samsung. You have to send the phone in and wait 3 weeks. The only good warranty experience i had with them is the warranty swap of Nexus One but that is the ONLY phone they have such a program.

HTC never had hardware problems? Are you forgetting about the huge multi-touch issues on the majority of their Android devices up until the latest ones? A much huger ****up than Samsung software screwups. GPS is flawless on my Vibrant running JK2 and JK6 froyo leaks. Was on JI6 2.1 leak as well.

I was wondering about doing this option as well and it seems like $350 - 400 is the going rate on Craigslist atm...
Hrm is it worth the $350 (off N1 sale) + $220 out of pocket to upgrade to the Nexus-S?
Maybe I'll just wait the 4 - 5 months for a Nexus-S to go on Craigslist and scoop it up
If I buy the NS unlocked, can I use it with AT&T's sim? If yes then I'm so will be there.

I replaced my first MT4G because of a dead pixel, now I found out that the second one has Inferior display after I did the comparison and the bottom of the phone creaks too. How many times do I have to try my luck now? I think I will give the NS a shot now.

People dont buy this phone for the Nexus name, people buy this phone for the "pure android experience".....and the google and developer support.
I dont like the Galaxy S phones either because of how they feel but I will be picking this up
Its a matter of preference and to me support means more than being aesthetically pleasing

But I've bought from them and they're legit, but my keyboard box was all beat up, the keyboard was pristine. It took them about 1-2 weeks for my keyboard order to arrive, I believe as there is so much demand for the things they sell.

Dude, ive been married almost 3 years now and I know the work-around for your issue. You order it and when it shows up at your door and she sees it you say: "baby, summer is almost here. I got this for you so you can relax by the pool and read a nice book, or listen to music, or even watch a movie if you'd like" The she gives you a big hug and a kiss and when she gets tired of the damn thing its all yours.
PS: replace pool with balcony/backyard if no pool is available.

Right now I have the S2, and I've been debating on getting the Moto X for the past month but with the N4 dropping down to only $199, I'm confused. On paper both very similar and I don't care about wifi calling, I don't need it. I could wait for the Nexus 5, whenever that drops, but I'm not down to spend $500-600 on a phone right now.
So, the Nexus 4 and the Moto X are very similar, so I should go with the Nexus 4, right?

For me, N4 is still the obvious winner compared to any phone out there. $249 for an unsubsidized/unlocked phone is a steal. Even if the next Nexus comes out in two weeks, I still won't mind having spent $249 yesterday for the N4.
I was lucky; I FUBAR'd my original N4 just two days ago, then the price drop was announced the following day!
