APN for MMS for Non-Sprint Heroes - Hero CDMA General

If you want CM6 for your non-Sprint Hero, we need your APN for MMs settings.
Once I receive the APN for MMs settings I will update this first post, so you know we have those settings now.

Code:

The above is the info I know for sure.
I posted an APN backup from the official 2.1 rom from my carrier on this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7304238
When I did the APN backup it came back with 38 apns. This is the two APN settings from the file that I think is needed for Alaska DigiTel
Code:
<apn name="Production" numeric="00000" mcc="000" mnc="00" apn="1" user="null" server="null" password="null" proxy="null" port="" mmsproxy="" mmsport="6672" mmsprotocol="2.0" mmsc="http://mmsc.akdt.dataonair.net/" type="mms" />
<apn name="Android" numeric="310995" mcc="310" mnc="995" apn="internet" user="*" server="*" password="*" proxy="null" port="null" mmsproxy="null" mmsport="null" mmsprotocol="null" mmsc="null" type="null" />
I hope this helps
Edit: I am guessing the android apn is suppose to be like a default for all the carriers on the list.

1. I d/l and installed an app called "APN backup & restore"
2. Backd up my APN settings from my stock bluegrass rom
3. Installed cyanogen's cm6 stable
4. Deleted current apn's using the "apn backup & restore"
5. Restored the bluegrass APN settings
6. Rebooted phone
still can't receive or send mms
any help would be appreciated!

Fido (canadian carrier) configuration issues

Hi All,
I recently got a mytouch and have since unlocked, rooted and am now running Dwangs donut rom (1.15).
Everything works great except it will only connect to edge. I cannot get 3g to connect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Note. My APN is set up as follows:
# Name: Fido Internet
# APN: internet.fido.ca
# Proxy: 205.151.11.11
# Port: 8080
# Username: fido
# Password: fido
# Server: <blank>
# MMSC: http://mms.fido.ca
# MMS Proxy: 205.151.11.13
# MMS Port: <blank>
# MMS Protocol: Wap 2.0
# MCC: 302
# MNC: 370
# APN type:
think you have to setup the mms as a different apn...
I just set my like follow:
name: fido internet
apn: internet.fido.ca
userid: fido
pw: fido...
nothing else
is it the tmobile mytouch or the magic?
if the mytouch i believe fido and tmobile use diffrent 3g bands hence not being able to use 3g

HOW TO: Set up APN for Orange UK

Hey.
I had this problem and read on Google that many had this problem as well. So, I though I'd post the 'How-to' for it.
Go to Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Menu > New APN
Use the following information:
Name: orangeinternet
APN: orangeinternet
Proxy: 192.168.071.035
Port: 9201
Username: [your mobile number]
Password: [your orange.co.uk account password]
Server: orangeinternet
MMSC: http://mms.orange.co.uk
MMS Proxy: 192.168.224.10
MMS Port: 8080
Any other settings can be ignored.

Requests for the complete lists of necessary Verizon APNs

I am requesting for the full Verizon Wireless Access Point Name lists for my phone - somehow CyanogenMod 11 choked on the built-in APN lists I pulled from Verizon stock ROM, so I had to hunt down the Internet / MMS APN to get Internet to work.
However, it won't be enough. I probably may need more than that. Anyone....?
Finally found them all... If you guys want me to put them up, I will do so.
Please post the apns even if we don't need them now it'll be great for future reference.
Alright. Here goes - even though I only found MMS and Internet APN, but it should work fine with two of 'em:
MMS:
Name: EHRPD - Verizon CBS
APN: VZWAPP
MMSC: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Bearer: eHRPD
Internet:
Name: EHRPD - Verizon Internet
APN: VZWINTERNET
APN type: default,dun
Bearer: eHRPD
Do the same for LTE; LTE - Verizon CBS and LTE - Verizon Internet and bearer set to LTE. It will work afterwards (just reboot to be sure).

APN settings for T-Mobile?

Can't seem to find these and wondering whether to use the settings for the 6?
Use the settings from the Nexus6 for the T-Mobile APN...
Use the default APN for T-Mobile.
If you accidentally messed with it then reset the apns to default in the menu of apn.

I edited mine to work for MMS and data. These are what you need to change/add.
APN Sytle: default,supl,mms
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
If I add dun to my apn will this hide my tethering usage?
No! If you want to enable the no tether check, you have to edit the build.prop.
So I found this and many other threads about APN settings on t-mobile while I was trying to fix my issue of not being able to send or receive MMS messages. Long story short, now even after restoring to default settings, I can't get a data connection back. I didn't look at what my APN settings were originally, so now am I screwed?
