HOW TO: Set up APN for Orange UK - Nexus One General

Hey.
I had this problem and read on Google that many had this problem as well. So, I though I'd post the 'How-to' for it.
Go to Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Menu > New APN
Use the following information:
Name: orangeinternet
APN: orangeinternet
Proxy: 192.168.071.035
Port: 9201
Username: [your mobile number]
Password: [your orange.co.uk account password]
Server: orangeinternet
MMSC: http://mms.orange.co.uk
MMS Proxy: 192.168.224.10
MMS Port: 8080
Any other settings can be ignored.

gprs configuration

Hi, bit noobish question but I don't have any idea how to configure GPRS/MMS settings. What I mean it's just too many options in Connections menu and I'm not really the best in English IT slang.
So since I left UK and came back to Poland I cannot use Internet.
Those are settings from my operator's website.
I put them booth in English and Polish coz as I say my IT English is crap.
Here we go:
Access Point (APN): mms
Authentication: none
Username: none
Password: none
Home site or main site maybe: http://10.10.28.164/mms/wapenc
Proxy Server Address: 10.10.25.5
Port: 8080
and that same in Polish
Punkt dostępu (APN): mms
Uwierzytelnianie: brak
Nazwa użytkownika: brak
Hasło: brak
Strona główna: http://10.10.28.164/mms/wapenc
Adres serwera proxy: 10.10.25.5
Port: 8080
And there we go with WAP settings:
Access Point (APN): wap
Authentication: brak
Nazwa użytkownika: brak
Hasło: brak
Strona główna: http://wap.playmobile.pl
Adres serwera proxy: 10.10.25.5
Port: 8080
And Data Transfer settings (or whatever else it is)
APN: INTERNET
Username: none
Password: none
So this is it. Now please help me.
Cheers

MMS Settings?

Hello everyone,
I recently moved to Helena, MT to be with my children, and there's no way in hell I can give up the functionality of Android. Since T-mobile doesn't get service in MT at all except for roaming, I switched to Cellular One (Formally chinook wireless). I got the APN info from Cellular one, and got internet working, but for the life of me I can't seem to get MMS working at all. I'll first list the settings I was told (they know nothing of Android at all so they gave me the settings for WM smartphones), and then I'll list what settings I have put in the phone. I hope someone can help me to get MMS working ^^.
These are the APN instructions exactly as they were printed out for me (for a WM phone):
Connection #1
Connection Name: Internet
Data Bearer: Packet Data
Access Point Name: internet.chinookwireless.net
Username: None
Prompt Password: No
Password: Leave as default
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: google.com
Network Type: IPv4
Phone IP Address: Automatic
DNS Address: Automatic
Proxy Server Address: None
Proxy Port Number: Blank
Connection #2
Connection Name: WAP
Data Bearer: Packet Data
Access Point Name: wapgw.chinookwireless.net
Username: None
Prompt Password: No
Password: Leave as default
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: multimedia.cellonenation.net
Network Type: IPv4
Phone IP Address: Automatic
DNS Address: Automatic
Proxy Server Address: 204.181.155.195
Proxy Port Number: 8080
Connection #3

Network Type: IPv4
Phone IP Address: Automatic
DNS Address: Automatic
Proxy Server Address: 204.181.155.195
Proxy Port Number: 8080
OK, now here's the settings I have set up in the APN in android:
Name: Cellular One
APN: internet.chinookwireless.net
Proxy: < not set>
Port: < not set>
Username: < not set>
Password: < not set>
Server: < not set>
MMSC: < not set>
MMS Proxy: < not set>

MMC: 310 (correct for cell one/chinook wireless)
MNC: 570 (correct for cell one/chinook wireless)
APN Type: < not set>

APN: wapgw.chinookwireless.net

MMS Port: 8080
MMC: 310 (correct for cell one/chinook wireless)
MNC: 570 (correct for cell one/chinook wireless)
APN Type: mms
If anyone can help out with this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there a way to check a log or something to show why it's not going through (like auth failed, or anything like that?)
Bump--Anyone care to take a crack at it? Hell, even a guesstimation might help..
anything from HERE help?

Unfortunately no. LFM is just a file manager (like astro, etc..) and the feature they are speaking of is being able to select a file within LFM and have it sent over to the standard MMS app to send it (using it's normal APN settings).
Thanks though

Not sure about what is what
I am using an unlocked Aria on AT&T and would like to know which specific fields should contain what for the T-Mobile APN etc.
When I go to: menu > settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names. I then create a new APN Which has some required fields. Some of the ones you mention above are obvious while others are not. Can someone help fill in the blanks?
Name:

After setting this are there any other settings that should be changed to get on a T-Mobile network?
Will I be able to switch to the different APN profiles for sdifferent SIM cards with out a problem or will I have to reenter this data?
Thanks!

I don't use the proxy settings and am curious, besides semi faster website loading due to caching, would it allow me to download mms over wifi?
