sms to multiple recepients

hi, anybody hav softwr to send sms to multiple recepients or groups or can u guide me where to get it.----for imate jam.
thanx in advance.

Already built in, you only need to type in the first few letters of your contacts in the To: field when composing new message, then click on the found numbers, then just put semi colon ";" after each recipients to add new recipients.

is it possible to send sms to a group of contacts- through any softwares?? pls help

o2smsplus can do what you want. it can even choose which entries among the group of contacts you do not want to send the sms to. there's a cab file floating somewhere in this forum.

could u give a link caz i didnt find after an hour of painful searching....can it be downloaded via o2 connect?

i'm sorry i just read that the cab file won't work for wm2003... they said it's intended only for wm5 devices.

O2 sms plus for imate jam??
through some of links I found that O2 sms plus is availble only with O2 as inbuilt software and not availble as a third party download. If any links availble for imate jam pls send.

i've installed the o2 sms but when i try to tap it, the message 'O2SMSPlus' is not a valid Pocket PC application...
am i missing something, or do i need to install other software prior to this...

use tango keyboard and canned message option instead works for me

Hi guys! Hope eveyone had a pleasant new year's celebration.
Anyway, I was hoping that somebody could either post the link or the file of the modified 02 SMS Plus that will run on any WM5 device. I have a WM5 device but unfortunately isn't from 02 and would love to have its functionality.
I have searched this forum for HOURS and cannot seem to find it.

Solved: No SMS notifications and missing SMS account in Pocket Outlook

Yesterday I noticed that I don't longer hear the SMS incoming sound (doesn't matter which soundfile is selected).
The message arrives and thats it no indication by either blinking, vibrating or alarm.
The problem only occurres with SMS, Emails and MMS are being notified in every possible way as it should be.
I had this problems once before and ended up with hardresetting my terra. Don't want to do that everytime.
I also noticed that the SMS/Text Message account in Pocket Outlook isn't displayed anymore just Outlook and MMS is avaible from the menu.
To avoid misunderstandigs I do receive SMSes and can open them at any time from Pocket Outlook. Just getting no notification alerts and missing the SMS account settings inside Outlook
Anykind of help or a link is very much appreciated.

It's simple.
Just set "SMSAvailable" in the registry to 1 (enable).
This should solve your problem.

I think i ve got a more serious problem, with the same effects.
I can't see anything else at Messaging accounts, only a "Setup E-mail" button (no messages). I tried to set up an e-mail, but when i finished it goes back to the account select screen, and still only one option, to add a new email account.
After i press X and reactivate the screen on the Task Manager, i can see the Outlook's Inbox, but when i see the folders there arent messages only the Outlook e-mail.
I added the registry key you said, because there was only one key in that folder (nosentmessages 1), nothing changed.
I cooked this rom in my own, had i something missed to put in? If yes, are there any way to install that thing without recooking the rom?

Did you try to edit the registry with the setting from post #3?

Text Messaging / MMS Wipe OUT?

Hey yall,
I'm trying to figure out what happen here. I believe on most pocket pc phones - when you press messaging you are brought to a screen that shows the options

What I would like to know is on my phone I had all those things however just recently all I would see after pressing the messaging shortcut is

Where did the text messaging and mms option go? Are there ways to fix this without hard resetting? I sure hope so - it'll save me a lot of time. Thanks a bunch guys.

That is all the shortcut has personally I like:

That is a direct link to SMS inbox I programmed it to my right soft key for fast access.

Thanks for trying however that won't solve the problem I am having above. Using file explorer I would click on tmail.exe - the only thing that will pop up is
Setup E-Mail
SMS and MMS are not there to choose from. Originally when I click on messaging I would get 3 options to choose from. Now I would only get 1. Does that make any sense?

Looks like you might need to install Arcsoft again to get it back if it is gone.

Well that didn't work. Thanks for trying though. One thing I do notice though is - when you hard reset and check the process section under taskmanager you will see tmail.exe running in the background. With my problem - the tmail.exe is no where to be found under process. Clicking on the actual tmail.exe file under /windows doesn't do anything either. :-/

what version of acrsoft MMS did you install?

Maybe there's no fix for this - probably would have to hard reset and then take the 7+ hours to reinstall everything :-/ Thanks for the help though

I have pda for along time and I don,t know the answer to this.
Sometimes I want to sent a contcts details to a college. Youu can beam if they are standing next to you or if oyur lucky you can send them as a sms. Not always very reliable. Can you send them as an email, that would be great.
Any ideas or is it obvious and i am the last person to know.

I send contacts as vcard via sms. Easy for both sender end receiver And it has never failed me ...

I find it doesn't work with all phones. My friends on htc just didn't recieve them and now his iphone doesn't like them either. Email just seems to be the way forward for me and I am sure there must be away.

There actually sent as MMS if you look at menu in contacts it will send contact Via (it depends on the ROM ) or something similar, this will then show your mms screen and you just add recipient it will be sent as a Vcard which is attached and will have all the info of that contact

Yeah I know that the contacts can be sent as MMS but I wanted to send it as SMS, has anybody got any idea?!

If you go to contacts tab > all people > click on a contact > menu > send contact by message

Threaded Email Problem com3 build 23128

Hi guys
Is there any solution to enable threaded Email problem for com3 23128 build ? This problem occurs on both chucky's rom and dutty's rom. I think this problem belongs to build 23128 not to cooked roms.If there is someone who can prepare a fix cab I will be really appreciated

guys still no solution? cmon we should do someghing otherwise it will be really annoying to fill email adresses manually

Which email provider are you using ? I believe Chucky ROMs already has the threaded email fix in them ... dont you see "conversation" option in Outlook ?

I use Gmail and Outlook E-Maill but the problem is when I reply an email it doesn't fill "To:" part automatically. that field is empty so I have to fill that part I mean email adress manually

I dont think thats what "threaded" is supposed to mean...
I always thought threaded is for Conversation mode in Outlook which displays all related emails as one "conversation" ... How can the email address not coming on Replies be related ...

as far as I know it is a bug in com3 23128 build. thats why we are looking for a solution. I hope there will be easy solution like registry editing.

Yeah as Sanjeev has said, "Conversation mode in Outlook" is threaded email, the bug your referring to isn't threaded email
Since I don't know how to fix it, I've already asked in Chef Central (no replies as yet ).

They aren't trying to "find word mistakes," they're trying to help. Threading and your reply-to issue aren't related, and the title of this thread is Threaded Email Problem, so somebody had to say it.

maybe you mean the blank field fix.
use htmlnote.dll from 23127 (the 23128 one seems to be broken).

ps: I have another problem in manila, when I try to import sim contacts from manila it seems it is importing contacts but at the end of process any contacts cant be imported.however when I try to import from sim manager it really works well and all contacts are imported to phone. can the reason be a registry fault? or something else? because it looks a link between manila and simmanager is broken
