£60 including signed for and insured Shipping to Romania.
PM me for payment details
i just need the power button ( the switch ) , can you sell it?
I have sent the payment to you.
There is a problem with the PayPal payment, "This transaction has been reversed. This transaction is subject to a buyer Complaint, Chargeback or an Unauthorised Claim."
Supposed buyer put the money into my PayPal account and then just because i wouldn't send the item until the money had cleared into my bank account he took his money back straight away without notifying me so sellers BEWARE of this person
have you any photo of the phone?what's the problem with it?can you ship it to italy? via airmail with airsure?
I withdrawn the money because you acted like you were not intending to send the pda... anyway i found one at 40Eur in perfect condition and it presents the same simptom like urs: not charging.

No but if you add me to MSN Messenger i can show you it
Failing that i could take some pics and email them to you?
It doesn't charge as the connector on the bottom is broken due to attempted amateur repair, that's why it's being sold as "Spares Only"
I can ship it anywhere if your prepared to pay the postage.
I will ONLY send the PDA once the funds have cleared into my bank account due to scams and timewasters.
Cheers

Heck, i wouldnt even trust the thing you got from the eBayer, just use what you get here.. straight from the source.

In the readme, he didn't even bother to edit it!
It still reads:

Hi Everyone,
How can I unlock my AT&T Samsung Focus for free?
Thanks.
not possible yet. have to fork out $$
Ok , I want to get it for some money and found someone on ebay that the people are saying he is guaranteed,
The only problem is that he requires a paypal money transfer and I don't have and my country is not eligable to have.
I live in Egypt but I'm still in the US and can return the device.
Should I just return it back?
get some US relative/friend to pay on your behalf for the ebay unlock code using their paypal account and just pay them cash $$$. you get your unlock code in their paypal registered email and a brilliant windows phone 7 device that is un matched.
Free unlock is not possible to get for the latest Phone,So you need to pay for it...You can get the paid unlock code from here Mobileunlocksolutions.com and unlock it from Network Lock.
Original phone owner can call AT&T to ask for the unlock code as "he/she will be traveling abroad". The request has to be done by the original owner (I'm assuming you're not, you bought the phone from the original owner). AT&T will provide it for free in some cases.
I'll keep this breif, got my z2 from phones4u, with £70.50 cashback as part of the offer..... My cashback went into my account on the 28th of april but a duplicate payment also went in. I know they only give me 7 days to pont out any contract errors/phone faults etc to them, otherwise tough luck on my part, so i was expecting to either hear from them within a few days or have the money took back from my account, neither of these happened.
However on monday (21 days after paying me) i recieved this email:
As you will be aware, you have recently received an automated payment from Phones 4u directly in to your bank account for £70.5 on the 28th April 2014.
Due to a process error, in addition to the agreed payment, you have however also received a duplicate payment of the same amount also on the 28th April. As this was not part of the offer we therefore require this overpayment to be repaid by 8th June 2014.
In order to make the repayment as convenient as possible for you, you can make one payment of £70.5 by one of the following methods:
Check or postal order made payable to Phones 4u Ltd, sent to the following address:
Phones 4u Ltd
Osprey House
Ore Close
Lymedale Business Park
Newcastle Under Lyme
ST5 9QD
Bank transfer to the following bank details, Sort Code 30-00-02, Account Number 00704305, quoting your reference number and your surname,
Credit / Dierct card payments can be processed by telephoning 01782 676944 or 0800 294 6023 Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00am - 4.30pm.
Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience. We appreciate your assistance.
Yours sincerely,
Phones 4u
My question is can i legally not pay this??? I've searched through the t&c's and can find absolutely nothing about errors on there part (altho any issues/errors or whatnot at my end need to be dealt with within 7 days) and this email also doesnt mention any further action if i dont pay....
Am i legally allowed to tell them politely to go f*** themselves and pay more attention to what they are doing in future?
P.S. Dunno if they operate in other countries but im referring to uk law
Pay it back. It isn't yours.
Also, they do have full legal recourse to recover the money, regardless of how long ago the error occurred. It doesn't need to be in the T&Cs because it's already in the law of the land.
Dreadful OP. Give the money back. Morally and legally the correct thing to do.
Send a reply stating "for any non contractual payments to be made by me will unfortunately incur an administration charge of no less than £69.00. "
"payments made by myself in the form of cheque or postal orders will also incur a single charge of £1.50 for postage and packing.
Please advise me on how you wish to proceed."

I would pay it back mate or else they will keep chasing you for it & pass it on to a debt collection agency.
if you wanna go into the black list dont pay it. my uncle is a 2 business owner and 4 mortgage owner because of silly £60 payment he didnt pay he cant get any loan from the bank.
If your device is not network locked and you have the original bill with you, you may not pay them back. They aren't "legally" entitled to it.
Had the same issue with Domino's btw. Didn't pay em ****.

What do you mean by original bill?? All my bills get emailed to me so i have at least 2 years worth, i didnt think there was anything they could legally do apart from ask you to pay it back. I think its something to do with statutory consumer rights, kinda how shops state 'please check change before leaving as mistakes cannot be rectified later, (and yes i am that person who will walk out of a shop, then stick my head back through the door to tell them they gave me too much change, but cant have it back as i've left the shop)..... and whoever mentioned it being morally right to pay it back, id normally agree but this is phones4u were talking about, my morals followed theres out the door

The payment receipt for the phone. With which you'd be claiming warranty in future if needed.

Ehm if he recieved money that is not his of course he has to pay it back. If someone transfers 1 million to your account by mistake it does not make it yours. And you have to pay it back.
Nah, look at phones 4 u terms and conditions.
Phones 4 u cannot be held liable for any action ..... Caused by any neglectful act by yourself.
That's a 2 way street right there.

2 wrongs do NOT make a right; it doesn't matter who makes a financial error, its part of being a good human being to give anyone, person, or business their money back if you receive it in error..
Hard to believe that people now a days even have to ask something like this..No wonder this world is going to hell, no one gives a damn about anyone but THEMSELVES
Don't get me wrong, I'd pay it back. But he doesn't want to and he wants to know can he say "tough"
Morally, no
Legally, probably no too, but he's well within his right (just as these big Businesses do) to apply administration costs, fees etc.
And please, we all know the world's going to he'll because of banks and big business, and they're the first in line to charge excessively for menial things.

Agreed, but, once again, just because some one or some company doesnt do the "right thing", that doesn't mean that its ok for them OR us to be the same way...
Karma is a funny thing; live your life and treat others the way YOU want to be treated, and life will be good for you...
That's why I'd give it back,
but he's not me.

This is something only a lawyer can tell you, they would have to go through the T&C and find any loopholes or ways out, this of course would cost more than £70 so just pay it back and avoid any trouble.

Once signed up for cheap mobile with free xbox 360, next day, 2 phones and 2 xbox's arrived, I rang up place to enquire as to the two phones being sent. Reply was 1 is your contract phone sir and one is the complimentary payg phone. I then said but what about the 2 xbox's, "what?"
Two xbox's came.
"sir, our records show only 1 xbox was picked and sent, I suggest you go and recount the items, ok?"
Err ok.
"is there anything else I can do for you today?"
No that's all thanks
"thanks for you call MR LUCKY"
Was I in the wrong for never contacting them again?

Ethically, yes. Legally, Nope.
So I sold a Galaxy S5 on swappa.com two months ago for $585.
I shipped the S5 via USPS Priority (with tracking number) to an address in Florida.
Low and behold, two months later, completely out of the blue, Paypal just subtracted $585 from my Paypal account, so now it's in the negative.
Seems the buyer initiated a "Unauthorized Payment Chargeback".
I've submitted my tracking # and Swappa.com sale ID to Paypal and they are "reviewing the claim". But some quick Googling says I'm probably about to lose $585 when Paypal deducts it from my checking account.
I called my Credit Union and they need form after form after form and a $30 fee to block PayPal and the form can't be submitted until AFTER Paypal takes the funds from my checking account. And then there is no guarantee it'll work?!?
And the Paypal website won't let me remove my checking account from my Paypal account. So if they decide against me, which it sounds like they might, then I'll be screwed.
Just a warning to you guys.
I wanted a quick sale and did not research the buyer before shipping the item. That was my bad.
I don't get it. Why was the charge reversed? Maybe it was a hi-jacked account that was used. That happened to me years ago. The money just magically vanished right out of my bank account. Nobody could tell me how or why. Had to figure it out for myself. Unreal.

Yeah, I guess.
What I don't get is why do WE get dinged for this.
It wasn't US who mishandled the buyers charge account.
So wtf. Paypal or Credit Card companies are the ones who should eat the charge.

Yeah I know. The sellers always get screwed.
I'm afraid you're going to have to just use this as a $585 lesson on why you should NEVER use Paypal for anything. I don't have a checking account OR a credit card linked to my PP account.
Edit: I thought Swappa was a broker, of sorts. Don't they get hold the funds till the buyer receives the phone?
Edit2: Call AT&T and Tmo and report the MEID as stolen?
Honestly, i think paypal will rule in your favor. From personal experience of this happening to me on ebay; generally providing paypal with the proof of shipment is enough. Granted, it takes a couple weeks for them to get their stuff together, but just wanted to let you know.
Good luck

hi
in my experience if your tracking number show the item was delivered for the address that confirmed on paypal for the buyer at least ( city, state and zipcode ) match then even chargeback will be end up in your favor . but if the address was unconfirmed on paypal then ya they could decided it against you .
Forgot about this thread!
Yeah, they ruled in my favor after holding my account hostage for two weeks. Thanks guys.
Congratulations on the ruling. And just for that guy being a ****, and trying to scam you, I'd still report it as stolen. But that's just me.
